u have to give improvement in all 5 subject BUT IN CBSE this year you can give one sub improvement and get combined marksheet which allow u to take admission in bits maybee
he speaks about that narrow width of merit , but definitely didn't acknowledged the fact that JEE advanced is a lot more tougher than BITSAT , so maybe IITs have some dumb students through reservation but coming to the people with ranks 1-7k can absolutely rattle BITS students comparatively , BITS also creates that narrow width of people who can afford their fees meanwhile IITs are a lot more affordable and have people from all financial background. The system and administration would definitely be more flexible in BITS tho

Whereas even achieving the cutoff to enter BITS is not an easy task. Yes, AIR 1k students are better than average bits students, but the average bits student would not be at a lower level than an iitian.

my suggestion for iits is to conduct admissions semester wise instead of year wise bcz the students who joined at the start of the academic year many of them will leave bcz of psu jobs and other reasons and seats becomes vacant... so admissions twice a year helps in increasing higher education% in the country and also research capacity of the country and institutions

They take their own admission test and provide scholarships or rebate in tution fee for top rankers in their tests. @@aadiliqbalkhan8216 BITS is comparable to the original 7 IITS, it's fees can also be reduced based on merit as it provides scholarships. Not a single NIT can be compared to BITS except for Trichy based on research program and alumni network, as bits is miles ahead

LMAO i have seen people from IITs even top 1000 rankers, saying that BITS is better than whatever IIT they are in. The only problem they had was of fees, otherwise people with enough money, and also having 1k rank in advance choose bits pilani cs over any iit

Part of promotion policy of Bits. Instead Bits must reduce its fee so that many deserving students may afford its education cost.
Deserving candidates get plethora of scholarship and in the end the fee comes at par or less than IIT .
