I understand your reaction to Bobby's interpretation of this song. I think the song is more originally like a lullaby to a baby - smoother, softer, flowing - from George Gershwin's opera, "Porgy and Bess." But Bobby put his own spin with a more soulful interpretation to it. It may not fit the original intent of the aria, but I personally like his fresh interpretation to it. You are entitled not to, though, so don't be too insulted by those criticizing you for saying what you think.
