Hi! I'm thinking of creating a planner + notebook system of sorts and I really like how you describe how to use this planner. And I subbed for more! 😊

I really like 3-6-12 month goal setting and including action steps to get there. A goal without a plan is just a dream. Have you tried habit stacking (Atomic Habits) + tracking? I found putting my floss next to toothbrush and paste helped me build the habit rather than having yet another tracker that probably won’t get used with consistency. Also, perhaps start smaller like 3-5 minutes (same for any new practices) of a language everyday and build on that. 😊

Hi Sarah! I've read Atomic Habits and know about habit stacking, but I could definitely implement that more myself. That could really help. Starting small with language learning is also great just to get the ball rolling. Building the habit, creating momentum. That's much easier than trying to study for an hour every day from day 1 and burning yourself out quickly. Thank you for your suggestions, these are great ideas. 😊

I switched the goal spread to be 8 columns, two goals per quarter, broken down into mini projects, and monthly, weekly, and daily tasks. My quarterly spread looks a lot like yours! On my graph I'm tracking sleep, energy level, and focus. On the left I track "battery" activities, like having alone time or talking to family. I believe I got these from Tori on Paper and My Dandelion Diaries

    Hi ru!
New subscriber here😊 so excited… I’ve seen those metal tabs everywhere… do you know the name or where I could potentially get it? I have the sterling ink planner too for 2024

Hi Emma, thank you for subscribing! 😊 The tabs are index clips by Midori! These coppery ones are the "orange" variant (I don't know why they didn't just call them copper or bronze or something 😅)

    Hi Ru!
I like the way you’ve thought about breaking down your thought process behind the goal setting spread. I’ve always wondered how people knew exactly what they wanted to write in those little boxes. I always find that I fiddle around outside of my handwritten planner / journal to figure out what I’d like to put in it beforehand. It sounds repetitive (and maybe a little crazy!) but I have come to really enjoy the process. 🙂
I also would love to read, sing, and meditate more this upcoming year! That’s so cool. This spread is also the one that I am most excited about! I’ve been tracking my supplements so far.
