I have two of these old boys and it always bothered me he is so much shorter than the mare. I wish I could film myself doing my customs. Great work and quite inspiring thank you.
Yea he's a short king 😂 you could always start with just a phone, I have fun making them. I'm glad you enjoy it! ❤️
The level of dedication here is incredible

is their a comaptition for exseries for the horse? I'm thinking of getting my frist Breyer, but love the model so much and don't want to anything to it
Your so talented!!! This is BEAUTIFUL!!!🤩
These turned out beautiful! I have to say though, that first one was worth in the $150-$200 range with an almost full blue ribbon sticker on the neck.
I got three of them in an ebay lot and I'd filmed the rotation before cutting them that I just wasn't happy with so I filmed the third after the fact for the intro, so I still have that horse, thanks for letting me know!
@Star Bat Craft Ah okay I see! Once again these are so beautiful, your harness video really helped me!! Now you know you've got something special if you need it!! Haha
@@otierce Yay glad I could help!
They both look so amazing !
Who saw the fly in 41:00
🤣 I swear the paint must taste good or something because they kept trying to land on it!! Luckily I have an indoor spray booth now.
You really need more subs TvT

Omgsh, not the legs.,👀😳. So, this is a beginner project right. JK. I love it.
It was so satisfying to cut them off 😂 and you'd be surprised, I haven't been doing this very long, if nothing else you learn a lot!

Хочу такую лошадку где купить

Re: the tail, imo you absolutely can and should be able to give an opinion on animal welfare regardless of whether you own that particular type of animal. Docking tails or ears of any animal is very firmly in the past where I live, to the point that even seeing a dobermann pinscher with hair elastics on its ears to keep them up makes me cringe. Giving an opinion on cutting off body parts from a creature shouldn't be so controversial. That said, I don't think a 1910s-inspired model horse has to be a model of animal welfare if the interpretation is of a specific kind of animal husbandry! Better to have it in plastic than in a barn 😂
Sorry for the soapbox, I just really wanted to say this is absolutely amazing work, and I love that you include so much of the back-and-forth an art craft like sculpture requires. Fascinating!
how long did it take to do this?
The first horse was completed through three months, but I was working on the wagon and doll at the same time plus I work full time so hard to say for sure.
