that is absolutely incredible- from the thumbnail id assumed it was just a repainted model, holy HELL i was not expecting that to be sculpted by hand??? you're insanely skilled and the final product looks amazing
Thank you so much! ❣️ one wouldn’t believe his origins unless they watch this video. It was so much fun to let go, have a laugh, challenge myself and relish in his peaceful presence… ❣️
when you asked on Instagram what mold was Judas made from, I was definitely not expecting THAT 😆 I'm literally crying from laughter lol amazing work, I love it!
When I saw your Instagram story asking people to guess what mold you used for this, my first thought was "Trick question! I've seen you turn Othello into a stock horse. This could be literally anything." Guess I was right 😂
Jesus fucking christ the jump from Horse Lump to gorgeously-detailed, perfectly-sculpted ACTUAL HORSE FACE has me floored. Like. It makes me envious because I want to be able to sculpt a horse that well, and it also REALLY puts into perspective that you are exactly right - you could just have sculpted a horse from scratch lmao. But.... Y'know. Here we are.
I couldn’t have done this even a year ago. So it’s a very time consuming hobby. Horses are the hardest animals to replicate, I swear. Thank you for your comment. It made me laugh out loud 🤣
i clicked on this video because i was intrigued, as i've never seen these types of customs before, and because my name is also judas! and tbh this is probably what i would look like as a horse?? he's gorgeous
I love how people like you exist, doing the most random weird stuff like making a torso outta necks. Meanwhile I cannot make a neck out of a neck even under clear instructions. 🤣 Talent really is something amazing. Thanks for sharing yours with the world~
Thank you. This is not something I woke up & just did. Sculpting is so hard. It’s taken me a solid 5 years to feel confident. And even now I see lots of areas where I can still improve. It’s a journey. Just gotta love it more than the struggle❣️
@@DeeJayBeStudios Oh, that's for sure, I think the world would know you if you were a natural genius in this field and could just do these things from one try to another. XD I can definitely see your effort and passion in everything you do! And being capable of such impressive pieces after a 5 year journey is already amazing I gotta say. It makes me excited for what you can create in another 5 years. I'll be sticking around until I bite the dust, that's for sure. Especially since your sense of humor in this video is really perfect to me. :D I wish you best of luck on your journey! Not sure what you want to improve on, but I'm excited to see you tackle those things sometime in the future and become even better. 💖
BEHOLD, A BABY HORSE. Haaaaaa. This is a stunning design from the mood to anatomy it's just so wonderful. A real 'trust the process' labor of love, so glad I got to see it.
A delicate comic series, or childrens book series, with drawings of your horses, beautiful stories they experience.. told by a storyteller, talented as you are in his field. Artists touched by God, given such skill is food for the soul. A fountain of life, joy, satisfying.. to be refresht and comforted in these crazy times. Like an oasis of good. Thank God and thank you. 😊😘💖
So majestic. So cursed. I love him so much. I had no idea that so much labor and art goes into this craft! It's been fun learning about it through your channel.
This is the horgs and forgs type energy I love from you. So creative, fun, and adventurous. Art is all about seeing the potential and doing what is most inspiring and exciting. Yet again, another inspiring and inspirational video. Thank you for providing such entertainment and honestly deep motivation for all of us out here painting our beloved plastic ponies :)
This is so beautiful, ive been collecting Breyer models on and off for 17 years and only just found out that people do customs, my mind is blown! Your work is gorgeous!
This is just really intensive kit bashing! 😌 I come from the Warhammer/model painting community, was looking for fur painting techniques and found your videos.. Feels like I found a gem of a channel for different modelling and painting techniques. 😁
WOW, he is gorgeous! First I have ever seen of this kind of thing, you are amazing! I will have to watch more of your videos. I had a few Breyer horses in my youth, but this is amazing!!!❤️
ill have to go watch all your vids now, i was just recommended this and ive been trying to level up my own art skills by learning... how to draw... horses... and their markings are so much different, even white spotting, than the dogs and cats that im used to drawing lol. itll do my art brain good to watch somebody go through the motions. this was absolutely stunning, horses are so hard on their own, but you took literal bits and pieces and molded and dremeled them into a beautiful horse model! what a flex of skill!
Fascinating video watching the way the broken parts come together another great model words can't describe how amazing the work is that you do keep up with the ideas brilliant ❤

@@DeeJayBeStudios thank YOU for making such amazing content, keep on keeping on girl! I really hope I can paint models at least half as good as you one day 💗
I may not create model horses but I hand sew clothes for Build a bears. As you keep on crafting with whatever tool you use, crafting model horses or sewing, you improve bit by bit until you can actually see the improvements to you way of crafting. You took dismembered horse parts, plus the stablemate foal and coin, and turned them into something amazing!

I am impressed.... the before and after is just mind blowing. This was the video that made me discover this youtube channel and I definitely subscribed like 2 minutes into the video because of how absolutely impressive this was. Judas is gorgeous btw ❤
Wow, Darynn! He is a stunning piece, the amount of detail put into him blows my mind. All the little things that most people wouldn’t realize when looking at him, that you put lots of hard work into. Plus, starting from all the body parts may have been a “dumb” idea, but it was amazing to challenge yourself and try something new for your unofficial entry! Not to mention your comments had me dying of laughter throughout the entire video 😂 Amazing, beautiful job!
He is so beautiful!! Although it's worthy of note that the name Judas doesn't actually translate to traitor, it's just associated with it. It's direct translation is "praised," and as far as I can understand is used less in the context of the subject being worshiped, but rather others speaking well of him. Which I think fits your Judas much better!
This is such an amazing art piece! I could totally see him being a real Breyer! I lost it when I saw all of the things that went into the making of him!! You are so creative! You have gained a sub! :)
I love the model (that color WOW), but I’m actually more impressed with the video style you did here. I really like how non-scripted it felt. It was casual, conversational, playful, honest, and personable. Keep it up Darryn! ❤️ and I hope to see you at BreyerFest!
