0:16 (don’t mind this, I don’t mean to be that person talking about animal abuse, but not many people seem to know about this so..) 2? She was racing at 2? Most racers don’t get on the track til they’re 3, and even that’s considered young for a horse to be trained enough to ride competitively. Starting a horse that early can lead to injuries and weak joints. Anyways, aside from that, gorgeous work here!

I love them both but prefer the Draft’s dapples. Really beautiful work. ❤ Can you please clarify that you use a satin lacquer between adding pastels, and is it just at end of doing each side of the horse’s dapples, or do you spray in between? Thank you

This was amazing!

A tip for getting a nice wood grain on your wall panel craft sticks. Take a wire brush, like for cleaning a barbecue grill, and scrape it longways down the stick. The indents made by the bristles will give you a nice grain pattern.

This reminds me of those breyer horse competitions back in the day where you would take one of their horses and remodel it. Those figures where smaller than this and you just had to heat up the joint to be able to bend them into position. I don't know if breyer still does it because most of their store shelf models are made of plastic now.

Is that stable haunted cos I deffo saw a spectral horse in some of those clips 😱 Min would have to be a good bit bigger as I collect 1/6 scale horses 😅 and would have to fold down some how as I don’t have that much room in my house ace job though and love the little birds 😊 though I wouldn’t have the moths as they freak me out a bit 😅

for loose terrain like sawdust or dirt: dropper or spray alcohol down on top and then add watered down glue. the alcohol breaks the surface tension so the glue can get down to all the layers below

In germanic folklore, Unicorns are considered the personification of raw nature, primal wilderness and untamed strenght. Theyre dangerous and shouldnt be underestimated! I really love your interpretation of the unicorn saga, it looks absolute beautiful and the dappled pattern to me eminates this wild, untamed personality even more. 😮❤

I’m curious do you spray sealer and layer the grey tones? How do you keep your pastels from looking grainy when sealing?

This is great, tell me when you take a horse so confidently after you have just applied a pastel, do you cover it with something in advance or does this pastel not sit on your hands after it has been applied?
