Some little known scary unicorns of old is the Karkadann (Most likely a Elasmotherium), the Sin-you (A more lion-like unicorn), and the Shadhavar (The musical unicorn). Also, most unicorns (Not Karkadann) would be in the Bovidae family, not Equine. This family includes aminals with cloven hooves and horns. Karkadann is of course in the family Rhinocerotidae.
I love a virgin-steaping, knight-slaying sword pony. Definitely a bigger fan of original unicorns than what they've become more recently. This is just spectacular!
In germanic folklore, Unicorns are considered the personification of raw nature, primal wilderness and untamed strenght. Theyre dangerous and shouldnt be underestimated! I really love your interpretation of the unicorn saga, it looks absolute beautiful and the dappled pattern to me eminates this wild, untamed personality even more. 😮❤
That dragon skull looked so familiar 😭 Skyrim was my favorite as a kid and honestly still is my favorite out of the whole series. I could fall asleep to the soundtrack any night.
YES!!!! I LOVE SKYRIM TOO! YES, YES, YES, YOU SHOULD DEFINITELY DO SHADOWMERE SOMETIME! It would be so much fun to do, especially with the glowing red eyes that Shadowmere has!
This is stunning. Dapple grey is such a beautiful colour. I associate it with youth and strength (as it's a transient phase on the way to being fully grey) so it's perfect for an immortal and ferocious unicorn.
Absolutely amazing! Awestruck by your and attention to detail. I did a custom unicorn a few years ago and added cloven hooves and a cow-like tail but I'm thinking your way is the way to go. Absolutely stunning!
Thank you! I do really like when unicorns have cloven hooves I was just worried it wouldn't be a good idea with the supports 😅 I would probably do the classic cow tail if I didn't like sculpting hair so much lol
See that’s where you have fun and go a bit nuts on the Tail tuft! I often draw my Unicorns with that tail and i just make the Tail tuff to quote Rupaul, FABULOUS!
Love seeing how safe you are! I thought for sure you were going to use the soda resin method on the neck. Beware of hot glue, as all it takes is a hot car or something similar to wreck it. Don't Eat The Paint has the ur-tutorial for how to do a neck with baking soda and superglue. I loved the tiny wires for the mane and tail! Loved watching this! It's not very often you can see an amazing custom you glimpsed in a Breyerfest video!
Thank you!! I use the hot glue more for bulking and temporary holding than adhesion. As long as there are no openings for the glue to exit if it should become that hot it should be ok, in theory lol. I still made sure to go back to the airbnb with her in Kentucky 😆
@@starbatcraft I watched a doll customizing video where they filled the legs and body with hot glue, then thought it was a good idea to boil dye the doll. Obviously that was a pretty direct and obvious blunder, but it freaked me out SO BAD. Ever since I've been like "Hot glue is the devil!" I think you'll enjoy soda glue. Where was she displayed? Cause I saw her in a random Breyerfest video. I think she was in the same place as the mammoth-bone-armor horse?
@@coyoteclockworkstudios3140 Oh no haha I'm sure that was creepy looking! I've stayed away from soda glue because I've heard it breaks down over time, idk how true or how fast but that still worries me. And I entered her in the Peter Stone art of the horse contest so she was there for a few days, she didn't place though 😅
You're the first time I've come across "horse" art. I was somewhat nervous when you dismantled the body, but you've done a good job rebuilding with attention to horse biology. The main and tail - you did a really good job. It looks quite windblown Good job. And I loved you using leftover epoxy from previous projects. Beautiful work on the dapple coat
this is the first video from you ive seen and its amazing, especially the idea of using old dyed paint brushes to create grass tufts! I will definitely be borrowing that idea for dioramas. Your such an inspiration and amazing artist!
This is the best custom yet!! 🎉🎉🎉 As always, thank you so very much for showing how and where you make your cuts on the plastic. Really helps those of us struggling with ‘spaghetti legs’ lol (IYKYK) ❤❤
The youtube algorithm brought me here and I am so happy it did. I have subscribed. You are a very talented artist. I could never do this because I'd be too much of a perfectionist for things that will never be seen (eg anatomically correct bone and muscle structure and layering the skin in stages). So I love watching others make these works of art. Thank you for your content.
This reminds me of those breyer horse competitions back in the day where you would take one of their horses and remodel it. Those figures where smaller than this and you just had to heat up the joint to be able to bend them into position. I don't know if breyer still does it because most of their store shelf models are made of plastic now.
Does rubbing alcohol work better than water for smoothing apoxie? I've been struggling with smoothing it because it is either too watery or not watery enough to smooth 😅
Quick question regarding the cutting/Dremeling process in the beginning: Wouldn't it be beneficial to keep a spray bottle of water on hand? Idk much about dremels themselves, but using water would help with the burning and melting plastic. It'd help with getting clean cuts and such. It would also help a little with the airborne particulate as some of it would just get caught in the moisture rather than get kicked up in the air. If this has already been found to not work then ignore me. I'll find out eventually when I research+buy my own set.
I've never tried, but I don't have issues currently with cuts or particles, the plastic tends to glob up and I can just pull it off. Might be something to try with resins since they have more dust
This is so cool. I'm curious about the epoxy you are using. I don't think I have ever seen one moldable like that. Does it harden fully after curing? Or does it remain soft? It is something I have never seen with epoxy before
I forgot if the unicorn existed in Skyrim or not but in Elder Scrolls Oblivion, you could find a unicorn and just go up to it and ride it and it would be your horse from then on. But it was super aggressive for some reason and would curb stomp random NPCs who never did anything to you
I would love to cast my own models! You have to make them either from scratch or unrecognizable (with permission from the og artist) to be able to reproduce them but I think it would be a fun challenge. Definitely an investment though 😅
mine are all 1/6 so I get really achey when I sculpt stuff as I have to hold it in awkward angles to do the legs , luckily I do brushable hair and don't have to sculpt it :D (I have tried but its just too hard
Oh wow! I would love to do one that big but yea I imagine it's like holding a small dog 😂 That's funny, I think the brushable hair is way harder, it never wants to do what i want it to!
hahahaha I toght she was a real horse wen i saw the cover!!!!!!! i am 10 same old me i am so sorry i can not tell you my name but my mom+Dad wont let me.
I love the name, considering how dangerous unicorns are said to be in the old legends!
Thank you! I love the scary unicorns 😁 I have a scar from her so she lives up to the name 🤣
The first thing that went into my head was the image of the Avenging Unicorn toy 😂
If you don't know what that is, do a little Google search

OMG what about Arvak???
The algorithm cooked with this one
oh my goodness a horse customisation channel?? my dreams have come true! instant sub
Looks absolutely fantastic! I love the dynamic pose!
Marvelous. She reminds me of snowflake obsidian and howlite (I have rocks for brains)
This is stunning.

Beautiful work on the dapple coat
I love how this turned out! (and oh wow, I’d LOVE to see you do a Shadowmere build!)
Beautiful work. Really exceptional job on the face, eyes, and base!
Absolutely you should do Shadowmere!!! I adore skyrim and the way you make horses is really pretty in the end
its so awesome to see someone who clearly knows their craft just go at it!
I love how you made the grass, what a great idea. The horse turned out stunning 🥰

Such an amazing piece of art! It is stunning!💕
i always watch these in ultimate attention, its so cool to see where you start and end, especially for a customization as drastic as this !!!
Yes 👍 😃😁🍀
This is insanly good! You're an amazing artist, the amount of care you put into Malevolence really makes her shine!
Yet another lovely detailed custom, the mane looks really good! ❤
You are an amazing and creative artist. You and your channel will do great. Thanks for sharing
Have you considered a jewelry saw? At least for straight cuts, I've found it handy for remodeling ❤
I use it for weird areas the Dremel can't reach or small things, but otherwise the Dremel is so much faster and I don't get tired 😅
You did an incredible job! She was magical in person.
So was yours!! Thank you! ❤
He is absolutely stunning!
No words, just awe. Beautiful ❤❤❤
Love it ❤😊
You always amaze me with you're work.
You are so talented! This was absolutely stunning. :)
HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE.... I mean, you just showed me how. BEAUTIFUL!
oh wow, this is absolutely gorgeous!!!
Wow! Looks amazing!! Love the paint job!🥰
absolutely incredible art work once again!!! i love her a lot
How many upvotes for you to make Shadowmere
Does rubbing alcohol work better than water for smoothing apoxie? I've been struggling with smoothing it because it is either too watery or not watery enough to smooth 😅
Yes definitely! It helps break it down better than water, I use 70%, some people use 90% it's just personal preference.
It also evaporates faster, so that might be helpful.
Wow! Incredible! It looks so good
soooo beautiful!!!!!!!!
You should absolutely do Shadowmere, she might be one of my absolute favorite video game horses❤️
Absolutely amazing.
absolutely fantastic!
Stunning!
While watching this video I was debating if I should play Skyrim... Then you just bring it up lol also 1000x yes please make shawdowmere
Yesss a sign 🤩
Absolutely gorgeous!
Amazing work. Your so talented. I would put that on my mantle to look at everyday. You should make a mold and sell it or make it a 3D print model.
I'd love to sculpt my own models to cast (would have to be 100% original) 😁Glad you like it!
Oh man imagine how cool you could maked Shadowmere standing in a pool of resin water.
Ooh yes 😍

Absolutely gorgeous! Is Malevolence part of your personal collection or was she for sale? Will you be doing more of this lovely custom?
Thank you! I'm not doing any sales pieces at the moment, possibly in the future! ❤️
it almost looks like picante breyer`s new brick & mortar release for this year
I want her so bad, I called my local flagship store and the lady was just confused 🤣
she was for the Peter Stone drastic custom show at Breyerfest right? Think i saw her in Deejaybe's video while she was there with hers
This is so cool. I'm curious about the epoxy you are using. I don't think I have ever seen one moldable like that. Does it harden fully after curing? Or does it remain soft? It is something I have never seen with epoxy before
It's great stuff, it cures hard as a rock!
I forgot if the unicorn existed in Skyrim or not but in Elder Scrolls Oblivion, you could find a unicorn and just go up to it and ride it and it would be your horse from then on. But it was super aggressive for some reason and would curb stomp random NPCs who never did anything to you
Omg, I've never played Oblivion but that's amazing 😂 unfortunately no unicorns in Skyrim (but that's what mods are for lol)
I use my excess apoxie to make poop! Easy and doesnt let it dry out for no reason!
Oh my god iv never whated something so bad
Have you thought about creating molds from the model before you start painting?
I would love to cast my own models! You have to make them either from scratch or unrecognizable (with permission from the og artist) to be able to reproduce them but I think it would be a fun challenge. Definitely an investment though 😅
I'm curious what the songs in this video were, I really liked them
Glad you like them! He makes them for the channel, here is his bandcamp: wwiremotherr.bandcamp.com/
…Ok I love this but now… I want to see you do a version of Amalthea from the Last Unicorn!
Ohhh yes I want to! Maybe even with a red bull 😍
Soo Cool
It's a unicorn blue eyes 👀 💙 please

the unicorn looks like and is named like a Bella Sarah card lol
This is the highest praise 😂 now I want to make one
DID I HEAR A BIT OF GENSHINS SOUNDTRACK AT MINUTE 28:24 ??? THATor the soundtrack is pretty similar
I have music made for the channel and I don't think he's ever played genshin but that's funny 🤣
@@starbatcraft ohhh nice but ngl there are some notes that remind me of it hahaha
I love unicorns
UM PLEASE MAKE SHADOWMERE. And Aravak.
SSO, take notes.

I would love to see Arvak!
I'm not a fan of green vaines, I think this is too much, but overall I'm in love ❤️
Love horses with noses like this
