- At our first concert of the 22-23 Season, we took a moment to reflect on recent historical events by performing the National Anthem.
Conducted by Kazuki Yamada.

I was at this concert and this performance of the national anthem was a truly moving experience. The entire concert was a wonderful opening to the new CBSO season at Symphony Hall. Nicola Benedetti was on top form with the Mendelssohn violin concerto as was the CBSO Chorus. Kazuki Yamada has an amazing conducting style which bodes well for the rest of the season.
Just heard about HM's diagnosis. Wish him a speedy recovery and good health for years to come. God Save the King!
Magnificent, pride in the anthem and all it stands forn ever fails to move me ! 💕🇦🇺
One of the best arrangement of the National Anthem. Slower yet triumphant, similar to the version sung during the 1960 State Opening of Parliament (video is widely available on RUclips). Hopefully a similar arrangement would be prepared for the King's coronation next year.
God bless the king
God Save the King!
God Save the King! In Australia, we released a new Australian recording of 'God Save the King' as well. Long may he reign: ruclips.net/video/jA4_qx-_A6k/видео.html

Esecuzione eccezionale!...Dio Salvi il Re!
Fantastic!
Que lindo❤❤
This feels so odd.
It does not move me the way it did when it was for the queen. He isn't happy and glorious. He isn't noble either so it just seems humourous. The queen was all those things.
king charles's better than you bud
The best way to honour The Queen we so much loved is to show the same respect and affection to her son, The King, as well
The late queen came to the throne at the age of 26 - King Charles is in his seventies. He is a deep-thinking man - he was decades ahead in his warnings humanity is destroying the planet. If he's not 'noble' - makes me wonder what you are.
