It's an incremental upgrade at best. Flat screen , 2600 nits, snapdragon gen 3. I'll wait for the z fold 6 and hope they use the best prototype designs and give it 100% to be as good or better than the Huawei mate x5 and Honor Magic V2 RSR Porsche edition as first large foldable w integrated s pen.
The trade in value for my S23 Ultra is just crazy. They sell it for P84,990 here but during checkout, I only need to pay P33,495. The total discount is at a whopping P59,495 (in my local currency). I have not yet checked out coz I want to see the actual gray and violet before getting one. 💯
Live Translate is nice but it would be nicer if you can use it offline say to communicate with locals (without typing) when traveling to a foreign country.
Samsung event this time is very boring ngl. A lot of over-exaggerations and unnecessary stuffs (especially Pokimane and Mr.Beast) included to make the event longer while they have nothing much to talk about. AI is fun but most of the them are poorly presented. Design is still meh, hardware upgrade is minimal, thumbs-up for the new OneUI update tho. All in all, Mr.Whosetheboss presented the phone better than Samsung entire hour span.
Im an iPhone user and it was more interesting unpacked compared to the Apple one lol… iOS is missing all those features atm… planning to get one Ultra but maybe the S23U

Looks better flat s24plus will be excellent with ai super scaling, finally more useful ai, since the days of Huawei proclaiming they made the first ai kirin chip, which only did translation. I really like ColorOs & iOS subject separator, I like the text drafter here, and auto formatting with galaxy ai, where did bixby go btw? I use bing chat all the time to rephrase, or come up with paragraphs. Is the photos default 24mp now?
The Galaxy AI is free until 2025, and the Microsoft SwiftKey keyboard AI has been available for months on IOS and Android. It can do more than the Samsung keyboard and even help with email.
The design of S24 Ultra reminds me of Sony Xperia XZ. I guess I will wait for like 7 months as the value of these phones will drop approximately 35%.It is like RM 2,200++ (S24 Ultra) cheaper than the original retail price.
Samsung must accept it that they are not good at making mobile processors. People are always unhappy with their processors. They should research a bit more and then build it.

That means we have to be using the navigation buttons now instead of the swipe gesture just to use the Circle to search feature
AI feature is already on the S23 series, tab S9 series and Z flip/fold 5. i hope it's also in A and M series

The hardware upgrades are overshadowed by the AI feature, the hardware actually quite decent improvement

Accept it! They're never gonna return. And a good dac costs about 10-15$ , which can provide way better sound quality than inbuilt dac of the phone .
