AMAZINGKILLER222 bill and javier, two amazing characters that are just too loyal to a fault. all bill ever wanted was purpose and dutch gave that to him, and javier kind of received asylum with dutch. the difference between john and arthur and javier and bill is that javier and bill rely on dutch, and have little to nothing outside of their loyalty to him, but john and arthur, well john has a family that he really starts to care for after getting jack back and for arthur, towards the end of the story he puts john and his family’s safety as his priority. everyone i just mentioned was saved by dutch, but two out of the four have nothing but dutch and the van der linde gang so in the end, that’s why they sided with dutch
I mean it kinda makes sense to me though. The less time Arthur spent with Javier. The less time they had to bond. So more reason why he sided with Dutch than Arthur during the final confrontation
Yeah, it is a shame. He kind of just disappears from the game in the second half of it, and I've always found him siding with Bill, Micah, his two rats and Dutch against Arthur and John particularly weird because he had a very strong relationship with Arthur throughout the game and barely interacts with Dutch for him to be quite so loyal. If there's one problem I have with the game it's that they really didn't do much of a job at all in illustrating how and why Javier is so loyal to Dutch and not Arthur.
Javier is actually one of, if not the most, dangerous member of the gang, he's always so unpredictable and impossible to read, Charles is probably the best fighter in the gang, the best shooter would have to be Arthur by default because of Dead Eye, he's been a gunslinger longer than John so he would be better.
I figured it to be a half insult to, and the way Bill responded seemed like he himself wasn't so sure if Arthur was being sarcastic or not, he might have went with it not being an insult so he would have the satisfaction of it not being taken as an insult, to keep from being implied to be dumb.
@@sharvinjoshi1108 It is an insult. It's the same as when people says: "When God gave out beauty, you were the last in the line". I think he might’ve just been drugged out of his mind at the point combined with not truly wanting to kill John but instead keep running away from his past
Javier knocked John down with a dirty trick in RDR1, immediately after John made it perfectly clear that he was dead-set on taking his old friend's life. John was down and out for a solid five or six seconds, plenty of time for Javier to empty a revolver or two into his would-be-assassin. What does he do with this opportunity? He turns his back on one of the most dangerous men he has ever known, and climbs out a window to run away. He only opens fire when John follows after, and only when John starts catching up to him. All the while, he begs John to remember the brotherhood they once had, and if you capture him alive, he continues to appeal to this familial love, not insulting or cursing John until he's a few steps away from a prison cell. Even then, Javier doesn't make threats or say a single word about hurting John himself, merely wishing for him and his family to go to hell. This is a man who gambled with his life, for a chance to let his old friend live.

Never seen Bill talk about any of the gang so happily like that, as if he's genuinely impressed and wants them to know it. I dunno, do you like Spanish men who out knives up to American veterans necks whenever they're drunk and ask whatcha doin? But then again he did call him a greaser so I guess he deserved it.
2:03 The way he stands perpendicular to Bill just shows so much about that interaction along with Bill backing off and sitting back down. In a way hes "submitting" to Javier by becoming defenseless to him.....or maybe I'm over thinking it?
He also steals from the gang funds. Its another hidden part. If you catch him at just the right moment you will catch him stealing out of the camp funds pot. He is disgusting. I caught him my first playthrough and was pissed I couldn't confront him about it, I was shocked when I saw him do it.
I just noticed Javier doesn't have a hunting knife like everyone else, Javier's knife almost looks more like a shiv or a dirk when he's carving the table.
I know Javier sides with Dutch in the end, at least for a while, considering they go separate ways but dammit he’s still one of my favorite characters. Fuckin’ love him,
Bill in this game reminds me of me when im at school, im easily angered and always treated like an idiot And I like how Athur stood up for Bill, People rarely stand up for me when im at school
Lizard's Reviews Arthur didn’t stand up for him he insulted him but Bill didn’t realize it when he said he’s been dealt a bad hand he means his life is a f*** up
The more of these I see, the more dialogue I discover of Arthur and others actually being nice to Bill. It really does make you think how differently things could’ve gone if Arthur, John, Charles and Sadie tried to sway Bill and Javier more towards the end of the game. Thinking about how you can see that Javier couldn’t even bring himself to point his gun at Arthur and John before the Pinkertons force them to escape through the caves is another indicator. Despite Bill and Javier being the men they are in RDR1, Rockstar changed our whole perspective on them in 2. They did such a stellar job with this game.
There was this tension between javier and bill here but in red dead 1 williamson went to mexico to get help from Javier. If you notice after the Saint Denis chapter, starting in Guarma, whenever the gang is paired off together, Javier and Bill were often placed together. A lot of time to talk and think and get close to one another. Especially during all of the problems the gang had towards the end of the game, it would be easy for the two to form a fierce bond
Bill's character is actually kind of tragic. He's a grizzled old soldier who was scarred by war, resorted to alcohol, and now has a skewed view on the world because of that.
Now just consider this. Javier has a reputation for being dangerous and terrifying. But despite that, when he came face to face with John pointing a gun at him, he ran for his life. John is just that scary it seems.

Why do I find Javier so attractive all of a sudden?
Queen Judas
*James Charles voice* Same Thither
Jesus christ that's fucked up
I dunno, do you like Spanish men who out knives up to American veterans necks whenever they're drunk and ask whatcha doin? But then again he did call him a greaser so I guess he deserved it.
They made him more attractive in RDR2
@@christopheredwards9904 mexican* and yeah absolutely
2:03 The way he stands perpendicular to Bill just shows so much about that interaction along with Bill backing off and sitting back down. In a way hes "submitting" to Javier by becoming defenseless to him.....or maybe I'm over thinking it?
I love Javier. He’s so goddamn funny.
Damn I like Javier's boots hope they add them in online
Now They Got His Entire Outfit Lol
I feel pretty bad for Bill now, he gets bullied a lot in this gang
Timothy Lok yeah cause he’s an idiot
He threw Lenny once m8!
He's a bully too tho
He also steals from the gang funds. Its another hidden part. If you catch him at just the right moment you will catch him stealing out of the camp funds pot. He is disgusting. I caught him my first playthrough and was pissed I couldn't confront him about it, I was shocked when I saw him do it.
Timothy Lok he starts the fights 😂
What I like about Javier is that he’s the quiet but deadly type. Like Charles.
Best Gunslinger: Arthur (John by the end of the series)
Best fighter: Charles
Most unpredictable: Bill
Best Dressed: Javier
Biggest asshole: Micah
Best at everything: Uncle
Best plan holder: Dutch
Biggest badass: Sadie
Ebenezer Scrooge Biggest Traitor: Dutch
God damn Snakes: Arthur, John
1:36 Tbf, Javier started this. Bill was just chillin’
Needed more Javier scenes ❤️ loved him in this game. Honestly his voice was amazing
@@christopheredwards9904 Agreed. These horny bitches up in here make me wanna puke lol
Guys calm down she just liked his voice
@@trumplover45xxx9 thank you ❤️
I just noticed Javier doesn't have a hunting knife like everyone else, Javier's knife almost looks more like a shiv or a dirk when he's carving the table.
I love how much tension there is between Bill and Javier......Almost makes you think there’s something going on😉
NO STOP! NOAH GET THE BOAT
Now holdon you might be onto something here
How dare you!
He was too busy with Lenny and Kieran lol
2:36 the fact you can actually see marks appear on the table is insane detailing
1:49 bro the way javier said this 🤣🤣
I love it , how Bill doesnt understand the Joke told by Arthur on his expense and even thanks him , thinking he was siding with him ...
I've never seen any hidden dialogue, i gotta stay in the campgrounds and eavesdrop more often
Javier just looks so different in red dead redemption 1
I beg rockstar to make a dlc about javier in Mexico before and after the gang
1:50 javier's voice in this part is like the cowboy version of Fez from that 70's show
I know Javier sides with Dutch in the end, at least for a while, considering they go separate ways but dammit he’s still one of my favorite characters. Fuckin’ love him,
Bill sounds shocked and appreciative when arthur stands up for him (well when he thinks Arthur does)
Javier has always been my favorite member of the gang
"i'm just playing with my knife 🤪" whoever voiced Javi, You has my heart
Gabriel Sloyer!
Bill in this game reminds me of me when im at school, im easily angered and always treated like an idiot
And I like how Athur stood up for Bill,
People rarely stand up for me when im at school
Lizard's Reviews Arthur didn’t stand up for him he insulted him but Bill didn’t realize it when he said he’s been dealt a bad hand he means his life is a f*** up
The music on the last one was timed beautifully
That's why Abigail thought Javier was creepy
Javier knows how to keep his head cool in times like those, but of course, one can only have so much patience, even with such companions
When Bill said "shun, shiIiIi..." I felt that 😩😩👌
u killed me bro wtf
Very deep. Who knew Bill possessed that kind of utter, universal wisdom?
3:36 bill died! i was waiting for this moment!
I wonder if he was hoping for Javier to help him up after he fell lol
Ewan mcshregg haha! 😂😂
1:00 I like how Javier and Bill are sitting together and you can see John's silhouette walking in the background
javier was lowkey my favorite besides charles
Now just consider this. Javier has a reputation for being dangerous and terrifying. But despite that, when he came face to face with John pointing a gun at him, he ran for his life. John is just that scary it seems.
al Mamlūk I think it was more about the gun to his face and impending doom than John
Maybe because of the fact that javier didn't have any weapons and knew john would pull the trigger before he could attack him
Me: "sees Javier pull a knife on bill and to me it's cute" WHY DO I FEEL HAPPY AND ATTRACTIVE FEELING!?!? Oh no...JACK!
2:51 Great dialogue, and the voice actor's delivery of the line is amazing
When you realize Javier is actually really cool.
love how Bill just compliments on Javiers ''look'' and that Arthur took his side for once
