I have a male and he is such a sassy Susan 😂 he and I will ‘argue’ and agree on things. He is precious, German Shepard’s are some of the best dogs out there.😁

Our GSD has a whole system of different sounds, one for she needs to go out, one for someone's at the door, one for she wants to play, etc. She recently added a new one when a stray cat scaled a 6-foot fence area where HER young cats were (btw, she's house trained the cats - lol!). I didn't hear the beginnings of a cat fight but she did and literally screamed to get back outside. The stray cleared the fence and hasn't been back since. GSD's are the most amazing intelligent, loyal, and loving breed! They also often have a wicked sense of humor :-)
Our cats never needed to worry about attacks from strays. Lil' Bro's dog only tolerated the cats that belonged to its pack/family. They had their own personal guard dog. 😊

We no have a beautiful pure breed and he struggle with who was the boss, again I was the disciplinarian and his feeder, I also offer the most comfort when he first came to our home. He was close with my youngest son because he played with him. I went into the hospital for 6 weeks and he and my husband bonded. He is now focused on his training and will not leave my husbands side. We nick named him shadow.

The Day in the life of a German Shepherd owner. Yup. I had a Maine Coone Cat much like this. You don't own them. They own you. And you love them for it. You feed them, play with them, give them all they need and they sleep on your furniture instead of theirs...
