Another important thing to know when pursuing your personal goal is: Don't ever wait for someone outside of yourself to applaud you or approve of your achievements. I watched this when it came out and since then i've been investing a ton of time into writing, and started on twitter. Im literally shocked by the outcome. these tips are legitimate. break things into lists, Use numbers, "harsh" and absolute language, and make people think reading further is gonna change their life or make them different from the crowd. Theres so much more but these work astronomically well.
Really great advice. I'm a developer myself. It all comes down to providing value, helping others, and then optimizing a system.
I’m in the same boat, I started a cleaning company, built the site , logo , legal stuff just pretty much everything using the skills I’ve obtained over the years. Once everything was built and looked good, I told myself I would start running ads to gain customers.. haven’t done that yet and it’s almost like I was more happy building the whole thing out.

Then you get in contact with someone like Dan or someone that's into marketing and you employ or contract them to get your business into the minds of the people in the area. Once the company is as close to self-sustaining as it can get you sell it to someone looking to get into working for themselves and you go out and build a new, possibly different, business and build that up until it's ready for sale. That is, _if building businesses is what you enjoy doing._
Oh yeah, if you aren't hugely finance savvy get yourself a good financial advisor. One that has a good track record to help you invest and diversify your assets and keep you in the green while you focus on building businesses.

I am completely lost of what to do but i also know for sure which art projects i wanted to do for years now. My biggest dream/goal is a comicbook. And funny enough nothing is keeping me from doing it little by little today already. But still i dont start. Cant really figure out what keeps messing me up. Loved this message. I'm currently stuck been learning front end for years and finally landed a coding job teaching. You put out interesting ideas, and I agree that learning to write is a highly valuable skill for personal growth. However, you're misunderstood on some bits: If many people consume your writing, that doesn't mean it's good or valuable, it just means it's popular. Popular ≠ Value. Value ≠ Profitability. People make millions off of selling complete garbage all the time, and intellectuals or scientists with indispensable ideas can often be hidden away in niche areas of their professions.
What you're referring to is learning how to be a good salesman, which is completely different. Everyone already intuitively understands with 10 minutes of browsing RUclips that clickbait is everywhere. It doesn't follow that it's good writing, it just follows that the social psychology of social media clickbait works.

I'm sold, what could go wrong, I've been studying frugal no grid living and self sustaining agriculture for over a decade, and see the niche to spread awareness now more than ever as we slide deeper and deeper into the grips of economic instability. There is much to know, but much I still must learn in the forms of art and expression in connecting concepts and ideas onto palletable content that would fetch a response from anyone who didn't know it was something missing from their life.

Loved your reference to Cialdini’s influence with authority and social proof.
That is true, I hardly wrote in Spanish, my native language but learned English writing!!! and my thinking process aside expressiveness ended up improving in general, not only in Spanish, writing push the mind to "operate/calculate" in language. It doesn't matter if your writing is not as effective, because writing in itself is much better to improve the decision-making / "convinatorics" to achieve certain goal. Writing also give more meaning to syntax and semantics.

People are unhappy because most of us have suffered some sort of trauma or just had a shitty childhood that set us up for a shitty and lonely adulthood. Not because we're just too ignorant or lazy to follow our passions. As someone who wants to so so badly follow my passion and with a lot of ambition, I find myself paralyzed for years and years without finding the way out of this vicious cycle I've created for myself without realizing. And only therapy can really help with that.
My foster parents did a lot to me. I never felt it until I was fully separated from that life. I’m 23, not feeling like my life is over but where do I start.
Stop suffering you memory or imagination. Stay present with what is REALLY going on ..in the Present.

I worry that AI is moving into the creativity business. There are already writing tools online that generate (actually quite cogent) copy for websites, videos etc. as well as other tools that will take that text and "magic" an animation concept that can be tweaked into a no- or little effort product. Add to that the text to speech algorithms and you have an unholy trifecta.
Sure, it's not Hemingway or Welles, but it's content. And it's getting better all the time.

Can someone really become a good writer? It seems like no matter how much skill and practice someone has as a writer, it’s always their personality and how they see the world that makes their writing good or bad.
I hope there won’t be more writers just following a formula trying to get ahead. I hope they make genuinely good content and have truly new things to say.

Most people don’t want to hear that body building for aesthetics is not indicative of longevity and long term health . As young people get older the more they value exercise for building lean muscle, mobility and energy. Right now the whole ‘get swole’ appeals to the short term vanity based mindset the youth values.
