    Very well done! I like the uncluttered approach of not adding any background music. So easy to listen to.

    Those cliff tops can be dangerous! I know of people who have fallen when they were standing 2 feet back from the edge. The weathered rock just gave away under their feet. That park looks like it has a lot of dangerous places like that.

    Don't wander around parks unless you have company. Don't scout ahead or hang around the rear of a group.

    Rusty in one of your videos was a man who studied or was interested in missing persons cases and he went missing himself. I think he worked at a bookstore if I remember correctly. It would be great if you could do one of these on him. I remember that one peeked my interest and i wanted to know more about the case.

    Rusty..i believe that this is the case where the National Park Services did not want to pay survivor benefits to Paul's wife..and David Paulides stated that this case is one of the most perplexing of them all..and the case that increased Paulides angst with the National Park Services...these solo case presentations are great..and hope that you intend to continue these..thanks again..

    I’m a new subscriber, having watched all your past videos the past few weeks. I like seeing all the park scenery and your delivery of the disappearances! Some are sooo strange how the people are never found, not to mention the way in which they disappear and so quickly!

  • @Monorail-Beyond-the-Veil
    @Monorail-Beyond-the-Veil 6 лет назад +80

    I've never been like almost everybody else: I guess MOST people see national parks and vast scenery as "beautiful" and "breath-taking", but I never did. What I see is hundreds (or thousands) of acres of loneliness and desolation. Even as a child, my father would drag us along on vacation to woods or a lake, and I hated it. So visiting such places doesn't appeal to me, and I don't understand the appeal whatsoever. So when I watch these videos, it's from the safety of my own home KNOWING I could never be another national park statistic. Just my 2 cents.

    • @amyntut
      @amyntut 6 лет назад +13

      Agreed. As a kid , and even now , I not only lived near the woods, but I also am surrounded by a few State Parks. I live in Pennsylvania. While everyone hiked, swam, fished, went out of boats, etc. it was always "eerie" to me looking or thinking about the vast "scenery" etc. Still bothers me, lol.

    • @amyntut
      @amyntut 6 лет назад +15

      I wouldn't say that ! There's so many disappearances that we don't even know of, that are hidden from the public.

      More people then you think. The pets also get loose then left behind when the campers leave. My husband and friend were hunting and came across a cat that had gotten away. They had to leave it because it was afraid and would not come to them.. There was no campers in sight.

      It was cruel not to pick up the poor cat to bring it to a shelter, That was a death sentence for the poor animal

      @sylviakoziarski4912 6 лет назад +51

      They did try. The cat would not come. They couldn't stay there to catch it. Be reasonable. You would leave it as well. There was nothing more to do.

    This case seems like it very well could have been a cartel abduction. Just because he had a fire arm on him, it'd still be very easy for 2 armed men to take him. On the other hand who knows?

      Please excuse David, he's struck an unavoidable urge to go on to everyone's comment (literally, everyone) and leave a douchey remark. It's odd. Sad. Bizarre. More sad for his mom. Davey simply has that kind of time on his hands. However, little does he know, he's only revealing just how severely unfulfilled his life is.
      Chin up, Davey! It'll get better. 😊

    • @mr_fnh
      @mr_fnh 6 лет назад +11

      Nuckin Futs Hey, Thanks. I’m glad there’s still nice people like yourself out there. I saw David’s mean comment come through & just let it roll down my back. Some people don’t have any respect for the living or the dead. Hopefully David’s just trolling & isn’t really that twisted in real life. I always wonder what happened to the folks that go missing in these stories. Why they went out in the first place & what could have went wrong in the end. A lot of these stories we’ll never really know what happened. I usually try to say something respectful to the dead. Even if they’ll never read it.

    • @nuckinfuts7610
      @nuckinfuts7610 6 лет назад +9

      Yes, Davey's a non-issue. Ya just feel bad for folks like him, and ya move on.
      I too am truly intrigued by what is going on in the woods.... particularly the National Parks/Forests. I've been binge watching D. Paulides interviews. Have you heard of him or his book and/or documentary 'Missing 411'? Most peeps who listen to Rusty have. If u haven't heard of him, and u REALLY want to get your mind blown, I highly suggest listening to one of his talks and/or interviews. I'm happy to hook u up with a link to one if u've never heard of any of the mentioned. Seriously, it's a good listen. He's on to something...at the very least, he's shining a light on a very dark secret that seems to be intentionally kept from the public. People to this day are mysteriously vanishing. What's worse is that ALOT are not serial killer/foul play/wildlife related...and proven so. Paulides makes u beg the question even more....and that is, wtf is going on in the woods? 😮

    Theses parks are beautiful,but also deadly...people or rangers should not go alone in theses wilderness’s..there are many known Dangers,but also some we don’t really comprehend...that place looks rather difficult terrain tbh.

    Why does everyone always over look what seems with cases like these to be an obvious reason for the disappearance? I have a pretty good idea of what happened to Paul, there is a very good chance that in this presentation it shows the last place he would have been and would also explain why even with a gun and a radio he was never found. Occam's razor "All things being equal the simplest answer tends to be the right answer".
