Oh man, after decades of seeing this band, this show here from 1997 is the pinnacle of The Urge! This was the same year I first started seeing them, and looking back 25 years later, it actually was just as intense and crazy and heavy as I remember. Thank you for posting this!
Spent years following them to Columbia, Lawrence, Warrensburg, Springfield and KC!! Of all of the bands and shows they defined my live concert experience in the 90’s!!!
Saw them open for Korn in '96 in Asbury Park's Convention Hall, no idea who they were. BLEW MY MIND! Never missed them on an East Coast swing since, Birch Hill, Stone Pony... man it's been too long
I was telling a friend the craziest shows I ever saw were the urge at the blue note back in the day. They’d have 9th street barricaded. Shit was off the chain for real!!!
I was there. They opened for 311 and they both murdered it. That’s so awesome that you put this up. Ty!
Wrong show

i just moved out to st louis from new jersey a few years ago, and they are far and away my favorite act to see out here!
Similar story for me (Manchester UK) saw them supporting Korn, along with Incubus (Enjoy Incubus era), and The Urge also blew my mind! 🤘🏻

Love The Urge!❤❤❤❤ this is amazing!!! Oh i miss 90s Urge!!
They still do quite a few shows every year, and they still throw it down like they did in the 90s... I've seen them a bunch over the years 😀
Always and forever, PTMFUS!
