Great video as usual. you should look at getting a new mic though, maybe one with more bassor one that can isolate your voice from the room. Apart from that the video feels very professional and well put together, keep up the good work :)
hello! your tutorial opened a whole new world of possibilities in blender for me :D thanks!!! Do you know if it is possible to morph or "fake-morph" the flakes into actual object particles? for example petals
Expansion of topic: You could just as easily use this effect for any other object! Just replace the target object with the text in the video and the empty with the collider. Then just follow along with the steps! If necessary, you could go into the 'texture properties' tab and scroll down the the 'Mapping' section where you choose the coordinate object. Here, set the offset to 1 in your axis and voila!
The way this is currently built, I think you'd just have to add a second particle system with a custom shape/object, and have the second particle system controlled with the same blend texture as the 3D text particle system
I'm having a problem with the dissolve material. It somehow makes my text mesh look weird at frame 1 even before anything moves. It has some weird lines in it and stuff... I can't really describe it well...

THANKS! i spent alot of time looking for the right vid!
Holy shit dude, fucking incredible, you've just set a new standard for blender animation, in less than 20 minutes, dayum!
Its a near exact clone of a tut from about 10 years ago. And there are other tuts that add fine dust as well....
@@neilmarshall5087 really? which one?

thank you is the fist time I see someone using texture in particles modifiers.
Thank you so much for this, man! I really appreciate it. I'm still learning the basics so I'll come back to your videos when I'm caught up!
This tutorial is amazing. Thank a lot!
WOW, thanks, my Brother!! Excellent Work :)
Awesome tutorial. Thanks!
Thank you. Very useful in motion graphic

- fantastic trick - thx man!! :^о
Thanks!
Is it possible to have a customized shape ( eg. icosphere) for the particles?

@@BlenderTutor Thank you!
Спасибо!!!
Great video. Can this technique be reversed? Making one text dissolve and then having another dissolve forming new text? Cheers.
How do I use minecraft texture for render?
I don't want to import the world into blender
Just few block textures
I can't choose any physics after remashing the Text? Only thing left in the list ist soft body. Does anybody know why?
some steps in shading are not clear! (time:13:20)!!! why do not you say which keys you use?!
I had to look this up myself. Shift+Control+Left Mouse button while it's selected.
is there any LOD making addon Free or paid

Good day. Voiceover music is evil. Therefore, in the negative. I'd rather listen to how a cat or a dog ate to help you recite a lesson.))
