When a similar thing happened to me. I made sure to spend one on one time with the pet, take him for a walk. Letting him out in the yard is not the same you need to wear him out. A nice long walk before you start your day or a brief walk before you leave the house should help. Also, I would close the doors and put him in a area by himself where he feels safe.

I had the same problem when my kids were little. You just have to give Opie a little extra love and attention. If you're on the floor playing with Oliver, put Opie in your lap and pet him. It will get better. As Ollie grows up, Opie will be more accepting. He was your first baby and he's feeling the attention moving to Ollie.

I would start crating Opie whenever you leave. Dogs feel safe in there and actually enjoying having their own space that they can go when feeling anxious.
Oh my gosh my dog is doing this too!! Currently. He’s always been a good dog, no potty training issues and now is extremely jealous of my two year old. He gets so mad when we leave, and has started to pee in areas around the house when left uncrated or unsupervised. We have started crate training again. I hated bringing the crate back because he has been without one for 2 years but I’d rather not come home to pee everywhere lol. So, yeah, the crate is key right now. So I now have an ugly black crate in my living room but oh well it is what it is 😂

Also I found out from someone else if you pick up on peice where you plug in the hose to wash furniture you can pull it up and clean it better. Hopefully you understand that 😀
