lol exactly

I paused SWOLA to listen to Nickleback. Fantastic mixes.
Top production.
I'd love to see mick gordon in coffee with ola, not about the current topic but like all the other artists you've had.
Petition to change album tips to be changed to "ola's just the tip"
Agree. He probably has introduced more people to metal music than we realize. Which we should be thankful for. More people eho like the genre>more musicians>more awesome music
We NEED Coffee with Ola featuring Mick Gordon!
We need this collab.
Dude, yes.
I'm not the best guitarist and never will be but I look back with great fondness at my 15 year old self carrying my amp and guitar to our garage band practices. Great times, great music, great friendships.
I remember similar "basement jams" and also guitar store horror stories I'm ready to write masterpieces, just had a tumor removed from my fretting hand so now after about3 months I can move all my fingers properly
I fricken love the Doom games, what’s better than listening to brutal metal cutting monsters up with chainsaws in hell❗️
Love the show mate, you have so much stoke, inspires me to be better🤘🏻
Every Sunday I get to hear the best Swola. Thanks buddy!
Ola, you should get Mick Gordon on Coffee with Ola, I've waited years for this to happen (I'm honestly amazed it hasn't yet considering some of the people he pals around with alone, Meshuggah, Monuments, Periphery, etc), out of all of the amazing guests you've had on the platform, I'd really love to see Mick on the show, respect and big ups from the US.
I just can´t wait for the Camo Snakebyte review 😄😄😄
Bruh. Riff in the beginning was so good. Your riffage has improved so much over the years and I love listening to your creative ideas.
I’d say: don’t start a band because you want to be a rock superstar or even because you think you can support yourself like that. Start a band because you love music. Or paint a picture because you love art. Or write a story because you love stories. Do absolutely anything creative because both individuals and societies need more or that. But, yeah, probably have at least back-up plan to keep yourself fed and housed. 😅 A few people will always make a career of it. But art and music shouldn’t be just for celebrities - they should be part of everyone’s lives.
Thanks Ola for the little speech on forming a band. That helped me very much!
DO IT. There will be many people who will tell you to quit, cut your hair and get a real job. It sounds cheesy AF but If you love it then listen to your heart.
@@jadanblue3927 Thank you dude
That intro went from black metal to power groove to traditional heavy metal harmonies. I like it!
I saw In Flames live once. I think it was November 2006. It was on the unholy alliance tour.
That's an amazing looking Fender. When you think of the tone Trever Perez can get from a stratocaster, that sound you got sounds like someone trying to play metal on a very cheap practice amp. I'd still have one if I had the opportunity though.
I’m seeing In Flames tonight 🤘🏻
Finally Bjorn! Thank you Ola. I am very excited about the New album 🔥 I ordered the signed vinyl. And I am seeing them live next week!
Thanks Ola for this one. I needed a good laugh today and you gave it to me :) Keep up your great work and sending a big hello from Ottawa, Canada.
Honestly Mick and his music had a more profound effect on me than the game itself ever did. His music transcends the game and I'm sure he'll continue to find success without it. I've seen enough of my favourite game studios fall to corporate fuckery to know where this is heading. I feel bad for the people at iD Software who genuinely love their job but that studio will be a sinking ship a couple of years from now. It was fun while it lasted though.
Imagine the people at Ubi or EA. The real fuckery
Your original openers are always bangin metal up the ass Ola. Happy Sunday. 🤘🎸🙏
I missed out this morning, but here it is: A big HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Jen Majura! 🙃🙃🙃
damn what an intro
let us hear you play high on fire, rumors of war,on that sick guitar of the week
Can't wait for the Björn Gelotte interview. I would love to see more Swedish heroes in Coffee with Ola: Nicke Andersson, David or Robert from Dismember, Anders Björler, Mikael Akerfeldt, the list is endless... 🙂
10 pm on a Sunday. Perfect time to watch this
Ola man pls bring back the retro gameplay clips that played in the background from your old FAQs while you talked. Those were an awesome addition to the atmosphere of these kinds of vids. Ha det gott!
Happy Thanksgiving & Merry Christmas Ola. I wish for Christmas, I could give you the times I hung out with Darrell & Vinnie, (Vinnie & I were the same age & Darrell two years younger,) at The Clubhouse & the other times I hung out with Vinnie & Pat at NAMM after Darrell's passing away. I know while they were certainly fun fast times for me, they would have meant so much more to you. Anyway, I'm still happy to be part of the Ola & Solar Family & looking forward to lots more videos & products to come💚
Ola on your arm muscle how about crossed swords, but with Guitars, Dime guitar crossed with a Eddie VH frankenstrat!!!!
Writing in english, even though my name is also Ola and am also swedish. But i want everyone to "fatta" (understand). Pantera is a dream come true for me, as it was one of the band i first started to listen to as a kid. Since I'm born in 1990 i was just like 11 years old when they broke up I never got to see them live. Even though the Darrell-brothers are gone (RIP) I'm still so fucking stoked to finally hear these songs I love soooo much live. I always buy 4 day Sweden Rock-tickets as soon as they are released, as there is always some awesome as shit bands that plays there every year. But next year is gonna be next level stuff, man :P
Bought Solar A2.7W yesterday, my first 7 string. Praise the Black Sabbath sales :)
I turned 50 years old two days ago. Pantera was the first concert I went to without parental supervision. They were playing CBFH but hadn't hit it big yet. I saw them at the Masquerade in Atlanta and there was maybe 300 people in the crowd.
See you on Sweden Rock dude! Bought my tickets as soon as i saw they were coming.
Thanks for a great video as always have become mysundat thing brekfast with Ola. :-) Be safe and skilful. Pinge
It’s 0440am here, and I’m up watching you 😂 I love your content ola. Hopefully buying my first solar guitar shortly too! Stay metal!
Awesome Swola again Ola, and that's great that you are so excited about seeing Pantera next year as well 😀🤘🎵🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Have a great week everyone 🙂
One of the best Tha News segment so far :)
That chunky riff after the BM part.😈Holy shit man, that was epic!!🤘🏻😎🤘🏻
Got my first Solar guitar coming soon (T1.6C), can't wait to go "aaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhh" too 🤟😁
Just saw In Flames a few days ago with At the Gates. The energy was unreal and the new songs are KILLER live.
Always a KILLER way to end the night or start the morning!🤘🏻 #teamnosleep
Mani totally get being excited to see Pantera. This spring I got to see in flames. They are a band I listened to when I was younger thar really inspired me and truly effected my sound. It's a band that has always n still is a huge influence on me so getting to see them live was a big one off my bucket list. I live in Maine and we get over looked by alot of shows I think. Not that we haven't had some really good ones but alot of tours come close but not to maine.
Thanks for the SWOLA, that intro riff was awesome! Groovy as fckk...
And 8:47: Yes, this.
Also, while we're on the topic: Do you have any tips or advice for finding a band or bandmembers nowadays? I thought about joining or creating one for a while and I might even be good enough to play in one soon, but I just have not the slightest clue where to start...
Awesome. Sharing happy things 😃
That intro was sooo cool lml lml
Oh yeh and I scored a gc1.6 vitner from the black sabbath!! Can’t wait for it to arrive!! 🤘🏻😝🤘🏻
I’ve already got my Solar guitar (and I love it), but big congratulations to Ola, Louise, and the whole Solar team on 5 years!
Excellent SWOLA. In Flames!!! Yes. All their stuff is great in context.
Dude you should do more black metal, that first riff was sick (the rest was too but man that black metal riff)!
Total agreement on the Mick thing. Having worked in the IT industry on complex software releases and reading about the development as a whole, I get the impression that the soundtrack was just an afterthought, was treated that way, then blew up on them. They should have just admitted it and given mick a chance to fix it instead of the character assassination. Mick’s statement reads like a court filing and I have trouble believing anything he said is inaccurate - sure, it’s his side, but he had documentation for what he said. Just sad.
Totally agree on the Nergal stuff. I think what you said is perfect - go make music because you love it, not to make a living. I don’t think Nergal would even really disagree, I think he’s talking more about doing music professionally.
Love the first few In Flames albums so this sounds awesome to me.
I love how excited you are about Pantera. It’s nice to know even people in the business still get excited.
Rock on have a good week.
Smiled almost through whole thing. Thank you, Ola 😊
Love the guitar in the opener!
That was awesome, some of your best riffs in ages.
Oof!!! Beast mode intro riffage sir!!!
🤘🏻🇦🇺🤘🏻
I'm 28 and I agree with you on an excitement of music. I'm finally going to see Tenacious D in Europe next year, I purchased tickets last week. I wasn't excited like that for a while.
Those mouth effects on Nergal and Dave were priceless 😂
You know, I like seeing the way you deal with speaking your second language. It happens to me as well, and I always feel self conscious. Thanks.
Happy SWOLA!!!! It's awesome that you reminded the youngsters (I'm 39) to play music for the love of the music and to have FUN! Nergal sounds like a fund dude! Get a head tattoo like me! (One of my leg tattoo's is my icon) 🤘🤘
The wife is coming back to Sweden shortly.
I asked her to say hello if she had opportunity.
Circumstances are not happy for her return, but I can't resist the opportunity to say hello if possible.
Told her to tell Thomas Englund hello if possible too....
Thanks for the 111th Sunday with Ola!
Hopefully, the Mick Gordon Remix comes out still. He deserves to earn money for the quality work he did with his music.
That Strat looks like it's already worth more than any of my guitars. LOL. Looking forward to the Pantera tour. I only saw them once when my band opened for them in '92, and they were awesome.
Got a "Reinventing The Steel" vibe from that Killer Riffage Ola!! Hell Yeah Man! 🤘🏻🤘🏻
That intro was mxxxxxxfxxxxx badaaaaaasss!!!!!!!
Mustaine and Nickelback impersonations were really spot on! Hench intro by the way, as always... Creative guy huh?!
coffee cups ready, I use a pint class for my black coffee man but its ready! Nice intro today
That black metal Iron Maiden piece was fire! My rookie ass never thought to do a triple slide!
killer intro !!! nice work !!
Channeling your inner King Diamond in that intro eh Ola? Very nice!
Wasn't ready! o...O
Awesome can't wait😀🤘🤘
@@randomzen924 wtf
God the paint on all of your guitars are so beautiful
wow, i'm sorry i missed this. with a such an amazing black metal wail on the opening.... clearly gonna be an epic swola
12:58 that made me giggle
For the fender, it would have been really great to have LED inside so it would look like a black strat until you turn the switch ON and it would light up the little blue and purple parts and look "cool'".
I worked for In Flames when they were here last and it got me interested in relistening to their catalog. I genuinely think Come Clarity is their best work up until to that point in time and definitely worth checking out. There is a level of maturity in the songwriting itself as well as being more dynamic than anything they had done previously.
In Flames is an absolutely incredible band. Their sense of melody makes their music for sure.
Hi, Ola! Your v1.6 Cannibalismo guitar is realy brilliant!!!
SWOLA Riff 111 was quite Testament-y, if you ask me! Darn-fine riffing, Sir!
Sickest opener in a while Swede! \m/
So you should be excited about Pantera dude!! Good for you!!
"Going like a breeze" 🤣🤣 Ola makes me want to meet every Swedish person alive who can speak English and give them the biggest chuggy hug possible. lol I love you man 🖤🤘🔥
you are so right, Im 43 and I saw alice in chains the other day and it brought me back to being a teenager....so much fun and they sounded so good.
I am 43 as well. The last two bands I went out to see at separate shows were MINISTRY and the MELVINS.
I didnt plan it like that, just two shows that I was lucky enough to catch, but isnt it cool that the hero's of the 90's are still out kicking ass? I would love to see AIC, sounds like a great show.
@@saltpeter7429 it was. Bush and breakin Benjamin but only bush was decent, AIC was amazing! 🤘🏼
Spot on Dave Mustaine impression, Ola
Dude! This weeks song is killa 🍌
Know what you mean about the excitement for new music. You are bringing it back though! Was excited for the Chett project, and it did not disappoint🤘 also the new Scar Symmetry from your coffee with per🤘👽🤘
Strangely, what makes a guitar for me is the headstock and I love that Kramer headstock.
Haha! That Dave Mustaine impersonation was spot on!
Is there any possibility Solar will bring back the Chug Dampeners? Aside from fret wraps (which I just personally don't like the look of) there really isn't much else available on the market. I love how sleek and low profile the Chug Dampeners are and would like to buy a couple 6 string and 7 string versions some day.
Appreciate ya Ola.
Ola's Mustaine impression is spot on.
First time on your channel. The News is awesome!
Would have loved to hear you shred some DOOM music on your guitar |\/|an!
That Dave Mustaine impression tho 😂👌🏻
I love how you have a different guy every Swola
I wish I could get as happy as Ola does for the Pantera gig.
Where are the Duncan Solar pickups?.. and the X-type?!
Sick Episode as always!
Började titta på dig först idag Ola ! Prenumenerar nu! Kom hit genom länk från Rick Castellano from Bandgeeks
Getting Classic King Diamond Vibes on the intro. Next stop Ola does King Diamond screams.
Here excited about an entire FAQ with Nicholas.
Thumbs up man would like a freestyle video just you riffing and shredding quickies
I was so not ready for this and I don't think I ever will be.
I have played Doom it's a great game. Reading Mick's statement awoke my PTSD from previous corporate experience & collaborations, i had to uninstall the game. The amount of patience, professionalism and often times candid decisions Mick demonstrated despite the obvious lack of trust you get from the get-go is just amazing.
Calling that PTSD is an insult to people who actually have it. Get over yourself.
Corporate PTSD. You poor thing.
@@ChainsawChristmas I know, right? Bloody pathetic. The official number of American Veteran suicides is 22 *every single day,* and it's just as bad in Canada (if not worse). This is not the kind of shit to be taking lightly. PTSD has no mercy.
@@MFKR696 I was thinking the same thing. My generation and gen Z really need to take some time off the phone and go outside.
@@MFKR696 @ChainsawChristmas Stress in the workplace is no joke, there's tonnes of literature on it. When you think about it, your whole livelihood is at stake! Still, it's incomparable to watching your friend getting bayonetted in the face in a warzone. At least we have the kind people at Id Software to thank for imagining what that fantasy might look like *starts headbanging slowly to BFG Division whilst looking mournfully off into the sunset*
That hesu 2x12 reminds me of the good ol' days when the FAQ was weekly from the condo studio.
Dude, these Sunday Riffs, fucking wow.
Getcha pull bro
Love the opening riff
Love the Mustaine impression 😂
awesome opening riff
damn should've waited for the deal
