Full version of the cosplay contest in Shanghai Fanfest 2019 that was also on live program on the official bilibili channel.
The settings were really marvlous.
Shanghai was hit by a typhoon that halted airport operations and the high-speed rail that day, but people who managed to arrive the venue all enjoyed the event a lot.
A big hand to Yoshi-P, Soken-san, Hayashi-san, Mr. Koji, the China service team and also to the cosplayers for their spectacular costumes.
Jesus that Lakshmi cosplay though...that is truly sick!

Really though, all of these are adorable and so creative! Titania or the 2:25 Red Mage would be my personal faves.
Ikr my boy aymeric was spot on. As for zenos yae galvus *fans self * I thought that he actually existed or jumped out of the game just to make his presence known. I'm satisfied google pictures for zenos cosplayers

What makes the Emet Selch cosplayers moment so funny is I think the announcer made a mistake and called him Lahabrea. lol
Good on the cosplayer to react exactly like Emet probably would.
Actually Lahabrea is her game ID. They introduced by ID instead of real name XD

I‘ve seen good Lakshimi cosplays from previous contests but this one is just on a whole other level.
It's so fun watching the original cosplay designs.. the NPC cosplays are amazing, but I have to wonder who these people are in that these pieces of armor are the outfits they chose, just like as if I were watching random strangers and their glams hanging out around an Aetheryte in-game. And just like in-game, there's serious sexy outfits and total dorks wearing mascot costumes! LOL :)
The 1st Lyse was gorgeous, but the 2nd Lyse was perfect. Really perfectly captured her dorky vibes in the body language! That's why I love her character
All the clothes and details looks great.The materials of choices really looks great, high quality cosplay that really properly made.

Tbh, the Ascians were the best in my opinion, both in costume and how they behaved

My favorite original character was the first Au Ra that showed up, but I suppose I'm a bit biased, haha.
The Sophia, Zenos, Emet-selch, Lakshmi, Suzaku, Shiva, Omega M, Titania, Hien, and Yotsuyu, and Urianger were my favorites!

That was amazing! So hard to decide... My top 3: lakschmi (I mean, come on), Ardbert (sry, but he looks handsome as always. And it's practically me! XD) and last but not least Zenos. I don't even like that guy but the cosplay is amazing! And nr 4 is the 1st redmage and nr5 omega. But that's my personal opinion, but heck, they're all amazing! Even the Namazu and the Morbol 😂🤣 I wish to see a fanfest in Germany one day. Pretty pleeeeeaase?

Gotta keep in mind it's not cosplayer judging so they might not know about some technical aspect and refer more on the look and impressive factor

These contests are so much calmer in Japan VS the US haha. In the US they are loud with loud music and lots of action- here they are all calm and respectful. Such a difference
