      Yep, corn flour is called "corn starch" in the UK - Lee

  • @jevnemcghee6056
    @jevnemcghee6056 2 года назад

    I notice that you didn't twice fry your chicken. Is that because the corn flour reacts to the heat differently ? Or is it because you use a different oil?

    • @SchoolofWok
      @SchoolofWok  2 года назад

      Corn flour is really good for making deep fried things extra crispy on it's own. You can double fry of course, we just didn't this time! - Lee

    I'm always amazed when cooks tell you to use wood or bamboo to check oil temperature.
    It's the most INACCURATE way there is! _And with modern temperature probes priced under ten bucks, it just doesn't make _*_ANY_*_ sense._

    Great production quality of the videos but the absolute worst website to navigate through. It's such a nightmare! Firstly, if a link is given in the description box, one would assume that clicking that link, it would lead to a page with information about the particular product/service, in this case, this particular recipe, but no! It opens the generic homepage of their website, which is cluttered and absolute nightmare to navigate through! Even by selecting the type of cuisine and searching for the the dish by typing it out, I wasn't able to reach the recipe! Thanks for nothing, School of Wok!
