I personally like the look of the 1133cc motor more than the new 1250cc. I like the twin exhaust as appose to the new single. I prefer to have a key then a fob. Each to their own but overall the scout line up is great.

      Definitely agree mate 🙌
But yes, at the end of the day we all have our own preferences.Like you said though, the entire range a choice line up 😁👌👌

I’m with you but I still bought the 2025. Couldn’t rationalize getting an old model when the new one was right in front of my face. That said I’ve ridden both and they both absolutely rip. Love these bikes. Only the limited+tech has the keyless ignition. The standard & limited have a key (I bought the limited)

Agreed, the 25 model scouts seem like a big step in the wrong direction. I’ll be looking forward to your opinion once you’re in the saddle.
    Great video

Granted there are definitely pluses with the newer models but it depends on what you’re after 🙌 For me it seems like sacrificing a lot visually for little ‘upgrade’. But as I said each to their own. I’ll go into a lot more detail in the full video 👌
      Thanks for watching mate 👊

@@tomoates8568depends what your after in a motorcycle. I’d still with the older model scout for the looks as I have all the tech on my chieftain 🤙

    • @tomoates8568

@@brandonmasuri5428 yeah to each their own for sure. The radiator in the last model scouts looked horrendous to me, that alone took the scout out of my list of potential buys. The new radiator looks much cleaner. The tech is a huge upgrade as well, but if you've got a bagger already then I suppose it doesn't matter lol

Hi mate this video couldn’t have come at a better time as I’m due to have the mini apes fitted next week. I was wondering how they’d look and ride and your video has answered all my questions
You seem a lot more relaxed on the apes where I was hanging on in a forward position causing most of my body weight on my wrists on the stock lower bars
Cheers and stay safe … Dave 😊

I have the '23 Bobber Twenty. Mini-apes, laced wheels. Comfort + seat, upgraded suspension. I love my bike. I much prefer the look of the '23 over the '25. And while I miss the fuel gauge and I would love cruise control, I wouldn't trade it for my bike. My mates and I went on a ride today, 185 miles (298km) and lunch. It was a great day and not a single hot spot or sore back.

Nice video and even nicer bike! Small tip; try to edit your videos with headphones so you can find audio issues faster. Currently you have the music only on the right output, while all other audio is on the left output. Very difficult to follow if you're wearing headphones

I got a Scout Rogue and I love it. I agree with you 100% on the new Scouts. I was giving shit to the new Sportster S because that engine looks ugly, like it was made out of plastic. The new Scouts have a similar looking engine. The bar risers, digital speedo (which is optional luckily!) and the rear fender just doesn't look right. Same with the tank.
The 2016 scouts look amazing. Even in 2025 these ones still look great and 'modern'. I can't wait for the winter to end so I can jump on it and ride.

Nice bike bro , got a question for ya , As an Indian owner do you find it hard to customise your bike and find parts to do so etc as in your exhaust pegs and maybe so handlebars? Just it’s so easy to find HD aftermarket parts that’s all, my dream was always a HD but now a Indian is on my mind but the lack of aftermarket parts worry’s me that’s all . Ride safe and stay upright

    • @EightyFiveTheRide
      @EightyFiveTheRide  6 дней назад +1

I’ve personally never had any dramas with anything aftermarket but I guess it depends how big of a range your after. I’ve rode with some Indians in our Indian only groups that are way more kitted out than mine so the parts are definitely out there 🙌
Thanks for the comment & thanks for watching bro 👊

You can still get the scout with that "dial". The base models do not come with the touch screen, only the limited and added tech version do. So all the base models will still be how you like, just with the bigger and uglier engine.

Latest Scouts got 3 different variations and keyless digital dash ain’t mandatory it can get fully analog. The new one is absolutely the same except for some minor practical improvements, more displacement and very minor visual improvements. But truth be told standard 2 in 1 exhaust takes less space allowing way easier to mount any saddlebags plus ABS and fuel gauge as standard. There are also some improvements on the frame only to accommodate for easier maintenance. Meaning don’t get fooled guys the new one is better in every way ;)

Listing only a few changes here. When talking about the visual aspect of the new scout the entire engine looks much worse than the older models. Far from the same looking motorcycle. Stating the new is better only accommodates to few wanting unnecessary changes that take away from a better looking bike.
