I have been racking my brain, and for the life of me I can't ever remember a GM in a draft PC say anything about upcoming contracts as a reason to draft a guy. Its almost always implied but never stated. Wonder if it was intentional to wake some people up. Remember what Daniels said early last season? That he is a slow starter, and it takes him a few games to get going? Well, I think you lost your couple of games to get going, because you got a hungry kid breathing down your neck who is a much cheaper option.
