- In this video we install coilovers on my 2004 Hyundai Tiburon GT.
I am very excited to say that I will be installing BC Racing coilovers. Originally, I was just going to install a budget coilover because this is a cheap car build. but while searching Facebook for parts I came across these! They are brand new in the box. They look and feel great so far.
This install was pretty simple but definitely time consuming. I installed all four over the course of a few days because it took me so long. I am still learning so I encountered a lot of hiccups along the way. Everything from not having the proper tools, to stuck bolts and nuts. But if I can do it, you can too.

I love watching people work on tibbys I just put a new set of coils on my tibby. Also a quick suggestion if the inside of your rim is rubbing on coil front or rear, autozone sells these slip on brake pad spacers and they are great I run them in my rear 👌🏼

Got an 04 2.7 with 134k miles and i need alot done. Suspension, motor mounts, radiator, throttle body. Even with all this needed it still drives excellent. Can't image how much better its going to be when I'm done. slowly taking advantage of the warranty. Thanks for the videos. Now I'm starting to consider doing the suspension myself. You make it look easy bro!😅
This is great I just bought an 08 tiburon se and I just watched all 13 vids in this series really makes it easy for me to understand and be able to do myself can't wait for the next video. Message me if you want would love to talk about the cars and throw ideas back and forth and get some suggestions on what to do with my tiburon.

Thanks for the vid! I am thinking of doing these exact coilers on mine soon. I'd love to see a review on them when you have used them for a while, and see what you think. I was worried that they would have too much of a minimum drop, in case I want to raise it back up with beefier tires in the winter but it looks like yours wasn't that low as you had it so maybe it isn't anything I would need to worry about. But I'd love to know how stiff they ride with max or min shock adjustments, and how. much they help the handing and steering feel.
I’ll do a review after I ride them for a bit and put the new rims and tires on. I did not have them lowered much in the video as it was just a tutorial on how to install them. I will be sure to show you how much drop I get in the next few episodes. I’ve loved them so far with no issues. I ride them at the softest setting rn and they feel super good.
I did all my struts with oem style replacements. I hade to dremel off the end links at every single wheel. Took me hours longer than it should have. Only had to do the bottom of the link because I was replacing the struts like you said. What a b*tch but it’s good now. Made sure to use anti seize just incase there’s a next time.

Hello, I have a 2004 Hyundai tiburon gt v6 2.7l 6speed manual and I need a new transmission, but it’s hard to find the transmission,I found one from a 2007 tiburon 2.0l 6speed manual but I’m not sure if that transmission will fit in my 2004 tiburon

great vid... Elantra owner and I plan to get a set of BC racing coilovers soon (w/custom rate swift springs) to replace a set of Teins I have... I couldn't tell from the video so I'd like to know if the rear has camber adjustment at the pillowball/plate... the front I clearly saw and I may even be able to use a set of the front pillowball mount/camber plates with my Teins and reuse them someday but I've been trying to find out if the rears have camber plate adjustment as well because I hate using camber bolts...
The back do not have a camber adjustment unfortunately. I was hoping they did as well when I purchased!
that's a shame... I'd heard that they did offer it... but couldn't be sure. thanks for letting me know... I will still get a set though!

@@taylorjhaug wow, nice score... maybe he just got a basic set w/no upgrades... I'll still check into it because on another Tiburon vid with BCs installed; someone (not the owner or vid poster) said camber plates are available... guess I'll find out when I get some
