Hi! I've been reading all of your comments below and I'm very touched by all the love and support. Thank you for the generous virtual ticket donations. Thank you all for listening and to everyone else in the future for coming by to listen. Hope you have a nice and calm day ❤️
This video was recorded 2 years ago (2022) but I just discover it today (Aug 3, 2024). At my age now, everyday is a gift. And today, this calm video is a special, joyful gift. Every beautiful note from your magical fingers touches me deeply. Thank you. Tiffany, I am very grateful.
CALM PROGRAM Robert Schumann: 0:05 Bunte Blätter op 99, n 4 Johann Sebastian Bach: 03:31 Prelude and Fugue n 8 from WTC I 13:17 Sinfonia 5 16:26 Invention 14 Johannes Brahms: 18:10 Intermezzo op 117, n 1 25:18 Waltz op 39, n 15 Antonin Dvořák: 27:06 Humoresque op 101, n 7 Robert Schumann: 30:25 Vogel als prophet op 82, n 7
Magnifique! I love that you opened with a piece from Bunte Blätter, and you took it at just the right tempo -- Herr Schumann himself would approve, I think. Bunte Blätter is a wonderful collection that I discovered rather late in my explorations of Herr Schumann. I am very partial to #1; I hope that you could play it for us sometime!
Hi Tiffany! I have absolutely no idea if you will ever read this, but you are AMAZING at the piano! you have such lovely expression and thought, even the most beginner pianist can tell that you are singing the piece inside of you and have the drive and willingness to go on! If anyone here is a piano prodigy, all fingers are pointing at you!
Thanks for posting a performance of yours again! After watching your background story about this video on Patreon I was really keen about it. Same excellence as always; and on the tech aspect I love the audio quality!
It is so refreshing and beautiful to find someone so talented as yourself, to be so humble and have both feet so firmly attached to the ground. We feel every note because each and every piece is played with such passion. Thank you for sharing that for us to enjoy.
I have to ration how many of Tiffany's videos I watch, I always need time to emotionally recover afterwards. My soul gets seared by this gorgeous woman's passion and playing.
A really lovely collection of pieces. Not knowing many classical pieces by ear, they flowed so well together in the stream that it was just like one continuous song. I especially like the Brahms into Dvorak combination.
Interesting that Bach is the first composer you go to to find music that is calming and centering -- so do I. Bach had a strong spiritual center of faith in God which both guided him in his compositions ("soli deo gloria") and eminates from them. I find that his faith coming through his music strengthens my own. I pray that you will also find that same strength -- and joy -- that comes from living in a relationship of faith in our loving heavenly Father.
Tiffany I love you. Your playing is very honest and I love that you will film a video in your house without all the fancy lighting and recording equipment. I also love schumann he's my favourite and not many people play his music here on youtube.
This is phenomenal! I've been thinking recently about how big of a thing it is that we can all access at a low cost anything online. We can check whenever we want essays and commentaries from intellectuals all over the world; we can watch the most excentric paintings in a search; we have acaccess to each and every information regarding general history, to pdf documents of all sorts, to any photo of preference, and so much more. But what amazes me the most is how it became possible to communicate in such a formidable way through bits and data, how virtual information could help us sing for each other and listen to anyone worldwide! Sometimes I ask myself where do I live and what do I feel, because there are times I depart from what I normally see and hear everyday, from what I normally experience in what I do mechanically and what I collectively contribute to as an individual. Thank you Tiffany for such a delicate and artistic experience!
It was really inspiring too. The first piece I played two years ago. Hearing it now made me realise how much I progressed since then, which gave me a little more confidence back that I lost in the past weeks.
Your playing of Dvořák's Humoresque really calmed me from my stressful sleepless week. I can feel some lightness for once this long week and felt better
I was searching for a relisten of your beethoven Op 31, Sonata after playing from the score, though have been unable to locate your vlog. Rather stressful, energetic music and your Bach prelude now playing is beautifully calming, rather like you !
Beautiful, and greatly appreciated. Thank you! I first heard the Dvořák piece played by a teacher in my first school, 75 years ago. It is very memorable.
Oh, cool! I was hoping you'd make this public! I listened to the livestream. I need to put this in a playlist -- *and* -- find some of the sheet music!
Wow! A car commercial and a Turbotax commercial! (edit- and I listened to them all the way through, which counts). You're videos are moving up in the world, right there with the Superbowl... Calm... hmmm... when you get old, melancholy becomes your beautiful... here I'm picturing a young, passionate person calmly flying through the air in the trainwreck of love (it is always a trainwreck, at times, anyway)... Nice dynamics, Bach would be pleased (he could not express them on the harpsichord)...
Thank you soooo much! Wonderful! A fantastic collection of pieces, especially Schumann‘s Bunte Blätter och Brahm‘s Intermezzo! Can‘t stop listening. Listen - Silent 🙏 you gave this anagram meaning.
A "calming" way to play the prelude from Bach's #8 from WTC 1, @3:31 really special sonority, full of wonder and harmony discoveries, bravo! Equally magical was the bird voicing for the Forest Scene nr. 7 @30:25, an excellent rendition!
We are so grateful for you! Although last year was stressful, know that you have helped so many people in the end. You deserve to take a breather now, if you feel compelled to. We will love you either way, because you have graciously given us so much. 💚
I cannot listen to this enough. I always listen to it at the end of the day and it brings me such peace, so very, very beautiful and played with such artistry and feeling. Thank you!
Extremely beautiful! Loved the idea of juxtaposing Bach's E-flat minor, major, and then B-flat. E-flat comes back with Brahms! Thank you so much for the touching performance.
I love Bach: the way there the left hand asks the questions while the right is having a fight between which of the two sometimes three voices is correct during their argument! They just seem to console themselves. Such honor, such passion, such yearning and yet so hopeful. And the best of it all? It sounds so simple, can you believe it? Bach, I would looooooooooo-hoooooooooooooooooo-hooooooooohohohohooo-ve to just spend 5 minutes with him.
I was looking foward to listen again Franz Schubert's impromptu op. 90 no. 3. Recently I started reading it and I heard it on the live last time, liked it so much 🥺🥺
Thank you for sharing this beautiful music with us. I especially loved the last piece ("Vogel als Prophet") ... it was fairly unknown to me and you brought it much closer to me. Listening to it, I felt it is very much a Tiffany piece. I might have ignored it if someone else had played it, but you made it special. Vielen Dank!!
Thank you so much, Tiffany! Protecting the stillness and peace in our mental well-being is so important. Thank you for sharing your tranquil, exquisite and beautiful music
Enjoyed listening again. Interesting choice of pieces for calming music. The Bach is very punctual and precise. The Vogel Als Prophet is mysterious perhaps beautiful and enchanting. The Dvorak upbeat. Pleasant to listen too and possibly thought provoking. Eric Satie's ' Trois Gymnopedies' , Debussy Clare de lune Sergei Rachmaninov's Sonatas are often used for Calming or tranquil music . Have you considered Bella Bartok ?
Thank you for this wonderful performance; at least for me it was well-timed to listen to a meditative program. I especially appreciated your performance of the Bach P&F and the Brahms intermezzo, but everything was delightful. I hope more people have the opportunity to listen.

Thank you for putting this up on YT. I want to see this performance over again whenever I need something calm and soothing.
This is truly amazing. The Schumann was truly spectacular.
I also love the Humoresque, but yes, Robert Schumann: Waldszenen, Op.82 No.7 - Vogel als Prophet -- is marvellous.
Such a great day to listen to some great music played by a great pianist
I love learning about composers, i find reading information about them in these program notes to be fun.
Love the soft sound of dampers

Hi Tiffany! I have returned to this video again and again. So relaxing and beautiful. Thank you for all of your efforts in making these videos.
I have to ration how many of Tiffany's videos I watch, I always need time to emotionally recover afterwards. My soul gets seared by this gorgeous woman's passion and playing.
Thank you for your music. There is even more stress and anxiety now than on the day you played this concert. Your voice helps.
A really lovely collection of pieces. Not knowing many classical pieces by ear, they flowed so well together in the stream that it was just like one continuous song. I especially like the Brahms into Dvorak combination.
Beautiful music is incorruptible, it has the ability to immunise and heal suffering minds.

I could see and even hear the bunte Blätter falling to the ground.
Prelude and Fugue no 8 from WTC is one of my all time favorites. I especially loved your performance of the fugue.
Many, many thanks Tiffany. I like your choice, specially BWV 853, nostalgia. Wonderful.
