Yes to the email list. I also LOVED the idea of the notebook with dividers! I usually use a small folder for all our documents and reservations, however doing a 14 day Japan Explorer cruise in April and have so much info and planning for this cruise so will be an excellent way to keep organized and find it quickly! Thank you!
You can find repositioning cruises on American Discount Cruises site. Using the cruise search feature select repositioning on the destinations dropdown list.
One way to cure the hangover is to avoid it in the first place. Eat something solid before you start drinking, alternate water with alcohol, and before going to bed, drink a full bottle/glass of water with a couple of ibuprofen, and have some more water when you wake up. Dehydration is what causes the nastier symptoms of a hangover, so stay hydrated!
Yes to the email list, great idea, I would like cruise specific live streams, for example for Alaska, Caribbean etc. You could cover excursions and packing lists etc.
We've done TSA Pre-Check in a city 1 hour away, it was easy compared to what I was expecting. We also fly twice a year and hate the body scanners and pat downs, so totally worth it. Shorter lines and basically Pre-9/11 screening. We may do Global Entry upon renewal, now that we're looking at more international travel. Half our fees are comped with a credit card.
Ref 40:18 - I am with Sheri ... actually, I get very stressed out the week before (my departure of) the cruise even though I have my (super long) packing list, have most things organized and in boxes, have my wardrobe planned out, and have enjoyed all the planning and research. I always feel like there is still so many things to complete before I take off (not necessarily for the cruise per se but other stuff that needs to be taken care of.) I also get anxious about possibly forgetting something, so I obsessively check, re-check, and triple- & quadruple-check everything. Yet, it has been shown to me that, even if I don't get to complete every single little task on my to-do-before-I-go list, things will be fine ... it's not optimal, but everything will be okay regardless.
ExtraordinaryLiving I realize I’m late chiming in, but I feel you on the stress factor before a major trip. I am also a big planner, so I don’t know how to really reduce the stress-but just wanted you to know you aren’t alone.
Thank you for all the info you provide 😊 We also live in California and would love to hear your recommendations for cruises out of California, especially beach destinations 🌴🏖⛱
You are a braver person than I am. If I booked an independent tour on a day when we tendered, in a country where I had never been and where I didn't speak the language I would be thinking the whole time I was on the tour, "are we going to get back to the tender in time to get the last one to the ship". I do book independent tours when I'm cruising but it's usually in the Caribbean or Mexico or in places I have been before. I admire your adventurous spirit and can't wait to see the Vlogs of this trip!
MSC Seaside. 14 days today. We are confused. We upgraded twice. We have a suite of some sort with priority boarding, free wifi, free alcohol but I am so nervous about our cabin. It's in a funny place. At the very aft of the ship and I am kind of getting the impression the way it's layed out, the balcony has no privacy. We like to have coffee in the balcony in our almost non existent pjs , but I don't want everyone to see us. This stresses me like crazy.
I kept coming too early and then I missed it smh. I wanted to ask, for the carnival hub app, you can chat with members of your party for free. Do you need to pay for the internet package to do so?
398 days, Carnival Vista, Caribbean Cruise. Cozumel, Grand Cayman, and Jamaica. Christmas Cruise and first time taking my father on a cruise. Should be a wonderful time.
Another great live chat! Great ideas from some of “your cruisers”! Thanks Sheri.😊
