Triangle Solo / Demo - Advanced Techniques - LP Latin Percussion

- The #triangle, probably the most underrated #percussion ever! But a lot can be done with it, as with any simple small/high percussion. Here's my own humble attempt to demonstrate basic and advanced techniques on this "drum". Not a tutorial / class / lesson but a simple and groovy solo which can help find new ideas on how to play that instrument, even for the beginner.
Playing here patterns on the #LP triangle with constant bpm and successive divisions of 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 micro beats.
#SixtySecondsShow #Episode2: no small/high percussion is minor. Enjoy!

I was sceptical at how advanced the triangle could be but I totally stand corrected 😅
Hahaha!:))
I'm glad you do!:)))
awesome! have you ever heard brazilian forró? some songs have a tringle rythm, I really like it
Thanks! :))
Yes of course, I've heard Brazilian forro:)) I believe It is from forro that the modern triangle playing (holding) position came from
This sounds metal to me (pun Intended)
Lol:):):)
Would you please do a triangle solo battle with Stevie T?
@@leojosepila3005 that would be the best crossover of all time
Broooooo! 🔥🔥
:-) :-) :-)
This is so beautifull !!!!!
Thank you!!!❤️❤️❤️
love it
Thanks!!
dang this sounds cool as hell
Thanks!:)))
Thanks for these wonderful demonstrations. I'm learning to compose and I'm learning about percussion instruments. I started with your cabasa video. Wonderful!
Thank you! Glad it can be of any help!
The beginning reminded of this Indian 16 beat rhythm pattern called Teen Taal. Starting 00:08
That's indeed the case:)))
now I have seen everything
😂😂
@David Gray Indeed!
X'D aller c'est bon je jugerais plus jamais l'impossible
Sounds like he was playing Rush there for a minute
Which song?
@@EmmanuelSimonWorldPercussion sounds like the beginning of YYZ by Rush about halfway through the video. I came to the comments looking for if anyone else heard it
Hahahaha:))
LFG
did someone die? chill man, maybe smile a bit lol
Well, someone might have.
Does the face really matter here?
@@EmmanuelSimonWorldPercussion Everyone and everything eventually dies, there's no escaping that ;)
Nop your face doesn't matter, your energy however...
a musician's got to concentrate lol
Impressive!
Thanks!:)))
Я думаю, тебе надо поступить в наш университет Народных Инструментов в Екатертнбурге на факультет бубна, к преподавателям Брекотину или Соколову
I already am a University Professor myself (in Mumbai, India) but I would be very happy to exchange with your University and the professors your are mentioning :)
