The basic design of the HUMVEE is good. For situations where you can use the upgraded vehicle in high threat scenarios without the huge cost of designing and testing a new vehicle this is great.
Possible configurations is endless.
The SPEARS mortar system, Hawkeye 105 mm gun, the shoot and scoot factor, scout car, close range AA system, medivac and air mobility is huge advantage. Super rapid response.
