If you watch him closely you can see his soul is actually playing

Riveria Paradise is an original composition and is the last song Stevie recorded in studio with Double Trouble. I had the pleasure of meeting Stevie backstage after his last visit to Los Angeles. I was a friend of a friend of Stevie and he treated me like an old friend. Sadly, that exact night one year later he died. I still feel that I lost a friend.

Although I just did discover this legend, the more I am told about him in the comments, my respect for him keeps on increasing. I am sorry for your loss. Thank you for watching. 🤘🏾

He was such a sweet, gentle soul. I miss our little visits, too. ❤

Texas Flood was written by Larry Davis in 1958. Stevie played songs that resonated with him.❤

I hope to explore Larry Davis too. Thank you for watching. 🙂❤️🤘🏾

That weird thing he's doing is plucking an open string behind the nut, then using the whammy bar to add tremolo. Thanks for reacting to it, man, because almost nobody has! Any chance you could do Tin Pan Alley with Johnny Copeland?
    P.S.
Reese Wynans is the dude on the keys.
    P.P.S.
SRV died in his thirties, and he was really only popular in the '80's on up to 1990 (though they started the band in '78, I think).

      Glad you enjoyed it man.
Ohh cool, I guess that's an electric guitar thing.
Co - incidentally, I listened to it just yesterday. Coming up next man. 🙂🤘🏾 Editing and copyright dispute left.
It's sad to hear about his early passing. Another legend gone too soon.
      Thank you for watching. 🙂🤘🏾

First time finding your channel because Stevie Ray is my all time favorite musician and this happens to be my favorite song from him. This is an original by Stevie and he worked on it for years but after his own rehab and recovery perfected it as you can see here. It is like a warm, golden hug from this man's soul✨🌟⭐️💫 and he dedicates it to all still suffering. He dedicated his last 4 years of his life to sharing his rehab experience and encouraged everyone he met that needed it to get clean and happy. He was a guitar playing a human instead of the other way around? But he was humble, kind, caring, and compassionate a very stellar human as well. May I recommend Life Without You, another original, as performed at the Capitol Theatre 1985. He wrote that the same year for his good friend Charley, a Dallas Guitar shop owner, that passed away suddenly and the performance is a beautiful testament to his great friend.👌 Thanks for bringing this today👏🙌✌️‼️

Wow. I didn't pay attention to the lyrics of the song. Thank you for providing the context. I didn't know.
And may I just say, dear God lady, can you write?!!
"He was a guitar playing a human instead of the other way around "
Perhaps the most brilliant and concise summary of the essence of what I have discovered over the past few videos.
Each time, more people tell me about his soul, I realize the gravity of his passing. I have a couple of videos recorded for this year. Life Without You will be the first video of 2025. Thank you for watching. 🙂🤘🏾

@@TheRealBabaRaakha so it sounds like you've already recorded a reaction to this song and will release it in a few weeks. I'm here for that! Hoping it is from the Capitol Theatre 1985 as it is hands down his very best version as it had only been a few months since his passing so it was very emotional🎶💙💫✨⭐️
Those of us who are totally enamored and transfixed by Stevie's playing as well as his humble, kind, compassionate soul have missed his active presence in our lives but still feel deeply connected with his spirit🌟💫✨⭐️
