I’ve literally seen this Video clip.. at least 100times in 4 years? And I absolutely LOVE watching each “New” reactor, React to SRV’s music. Watching him is kinda like an “Alien sighting” lol. Like millions of people, from all walks of life, different races, ages, Countries, see this “Awe Inspiring” thing. And although they have NEVER met, they all have the same story. In SRVs case, they all feel the same. So to quote you..”It’s like he’s making love to his guitar”. That is about the best way, to explain the “Alien Guitarist Music” that will forever be “Stevie Ray Vaughan”
The legendary B.B. King said, “I play the blues in sentences. Stevie Ray Vaughan plays the blues in paragraphs”. He added that “Stevie Ray, a white boy from Texas, was the best blues man I ever heard.”
It warms my heart to see a young person discovering and truly enjoying what we've known for over 40 years. He was only with us for a short time but, he left us 7 albums and a multitude of videos. Welcome to the world of the Texas Blues.
Stevie Ray Vaughan has been voted by critics one of the greatest guitarists of all time, and this magnificent performance of electric blues confirms it. 🌺
Great reaction Mrs Penpal...Vaughan like yawn with a V...yep pure Texas Blues..Stevie was one of the greatest guitarists. Looking forward to you reacting more to SRV....fan from Texas
You absolutely got it. You've been touched by the magik of Stevie Ray and you'll never be the same after hearing a gutar speak for the palyer. Perfectly expressed reaction being that it's always hard to find the right words, and lots of reactors say they've gotten the goosebumps from Stevie's music/performance. I've one more thing to say -- more Stevie Ray! ☮️❤
Legit can't get over the way music touches your soul....it's very rare to see people moved the way you seem to be moved by all types of music. And, quite honestly it's like a breath of fresh air rushing in. It cleanses the spirit!!!!
The El Mocambo is a bar in Toronto it only holds about 650 people yet it has hosted some of the biggest names in music including the Rolling Stones ,U2 and many others.
You were swept away by the rhythm and blues. A wonderful feeling that speaks to the soul. I saw SRV at the Charleston (WV) Municipal Auditorium in Feb, 1987 and what a show it was! Songs like "Look At Little Sister", "Mary Had A Little Lamb" and "Voodoo Child" were standouts during an amazing performance.
Thanks, Mrs.... yep, SRV was the GOAT.. and this is one of his most iconic live performances... appreciate your appreciation... ! (I heard a quote from Stevie where he said "I don't play with much finesse.. I usually play like I'm breaking out of jail... lol)
There a great story told by guitar legend Eric Clapton about hearing SRV the first time I’m paraphrasing, of course, but he basically said when he heard Stevie on the radio he pulled over his car to listen and find out who that was - he said he’d never done that before I’m sure somebody know the exact details but that basically what happened.
SRV is one of the best blues guitarists in history. Shame we lost him so soon. Suggestions: Pride and Joy, Cold Shot, and his instrumental cover of Jimi Hendrix's Little Wing (my personal favorite)
You're the first reactor I have heard that caught the wonderful bass line that Tommy was laying down for Stevie's going off on the guitar. I loved how you felt the music on this one.
Good job Darling. PURE TEXAS BLUES. Saw him 1984, on a road trip up to Austin. Didn't have a clue who he was. Side note. it was the last week X.T.C. was legal in TEXAS.
Yes ma'am. He died in a helicopter crash as soon as he got his life straight off the drugs. He found God again if you watch his video Life Without You you can see the Spirit in his eyes as he talks to the audience about helping one another. God bless him. And you as well.
There are 2 video’s you should check out. In this order ok. 1st watch "Jeff Healy’s- Can you see the light”- then watch a very AWESOME collab video, "Stevie, and Jeff, playing Look at Lil Sister”. Please watch Jeff Healey first. He’s was a awesome Blind guitarist. Played a guitar on his lap!!! You will Love it!!
I got to hear this live when I seen him in astin Texas it was why I went there hoping to see him .when I herd that he was going toply I ran to the airport to get my was in row 5 it was so.low lowde had to get used to it heplayd behind lhis back several times
Subbing for more Stevie Ray👏🙌‼️🎸💙🎶💯. You will enjoy his body of work as he always plays with 200% of himself each and every time. Hard to know exactly if this is a man playing a guitar or a guitar playing a man? You decide. He is self taught from age 7 by listening to records by the Blues masters💙. Never learned to read music probably because music read him just fine!🎶🎶🎶. For something fun but a total jam, check out "Mary Had A Little Lamb", an arrangement by Buddy Guy, that will astound you as well. The best version of this song is from Austin City Limits 1989 performance and it won't be blocked. The El Macambo is in Toronto Canada and is usually blocked. Thanks for bringing this today👏🙌😊👌‼️
For sure, check out Stevie Ray on the Arsenio Hall show from like 1989…he had gotten sober by that point. At the point of this video you’re watching, sadly, he was having trouble keeping his personal life together. But yay I’m glad I saw your video!
♥1st Chronicles 29:11 Thine, O Lord is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O Lord, and thou art exalted as head above all.
The crazy thing is, El Mocambo being in Canada, Stevie who at the time was highly addicted to c9caine at the time, was in a withdrawl coma because they could not score the drug for him. Hours before the show paramedics had to admister vitamins and stimulants to revive him for the show 😮
I was at his final two shows in Fargo and at Alpine Valley (East Troy) the night of that terrible helicopter crash. The shows were great but the memory is tainted.

@chrisstone5868 Yep. I've seen the same thing. He is the G.O.A.T.
As we say in Texas; y'all be safe.
Me to
The greatest guitarist ever in my opinion. I heard blood had to cleaned of the neck of his guitar after each performance
@@Spencer-h3m I have heard the very same. To be honest, that doesn’t surprise me. In fact if they didn’t… it just wouldn’t be his music!!

Vaughn is pronounced “Von”. El Mocambo is in Canada. Stevie Ray started in Austin, Texas.
Hi Bill thanks for your reply. I appreciate. Remember to like and subscribe:)
Here it's pronounced "vawn," like most southern/Texas people do
When you realize the song is about the end of a relationship, you can hear the dialogue and passion of a breakup through the guitar.
You might check out his MDA Telethon performance of "Voodoo Child ".
❤❤❤❤❤
Bbking said Stevie was the best blue's giutatar player he ever see
The Cat in the Hat with a Strat.
Wow
It's been said that his guitar asked for a cigarette immediately after that performance.

Stevie Ray Vaughan (VON).
