@@EOLove 에릭루 햇빛 연습만 몇년 했습니다 15살 때 연주한 것도 있더라고요

쳐본분은 알겠지만 어느정도 연습해서 속도가 붙으면 더 이상은 좀 처럼 속도도 그렇고 늘지가 않아요~~ 이분은 정말 한계를 뛰어넘은듯
에튀드같은건 플레이타임 몇초라도 줄어드는게 진짜 대단한거죠
0:36 F Major에서 D minor로 전조될 때 터치 조금 더 무겁게 실으면서 표현하는 거 진짜 너무 좋다...
아무리 쇼팽콩쿠르라지만 템포가 저렇게 빠른데다 악상까지 살리면서 미스도 거의 없는게 참ㅋㅋㅋ 피아니스트들은 대단한듯...

This is such an underrated etude. It shows off Chopin's complete elegance yet liveliness of sound so perfectly.
How is it underrated! So many pianists play this!
The aesthetic in this etude is incredible. Chopin is supreme!
underated??? what are you smoking dude, 10-8 is probably one of the most played etudes for piano music school admission everywhere, and one of the most played etudes in chopin competitions...
@@bludika It really isn't though. Many muuuch more popular etudes out there (revolutionary, winter wind, ocean, tristesse, waterfall, wrong notes,...).
It’s also one of the most important and useful etudes! The crossing of the thumb and action of the wrist and forearm are in the majority of piano pieces, this Etude tackles that directly.

I have to say Chopin would wake up from his grave and be delighted to hear Erics playing...
The technique is great, the structure is rock solid, his interpretation of the hypermeter and phrase rhythm are incredibly clear, and the ending rolled chords are like a beautiful epilogue... BRAVO!
Indeed, the arpeggiated chords in the last measures are like pearls. This pianist is all the world.

10-8번이 시험곡,단순한 테크닉 시험을 위한곡이라고만 들렸는데 에릭루꺼듣고 햇빛도 환상적으로 들릴수가있구나 느낌 ㅋㅋㅋ
I was about to comment that this tempo is faster than I'd have preferred, but Lu's playing here is actually very delicate and has no sense of hurry. Not my favourite rendition of this etude, but definitely delightful.
SeitanoShuuki could you indicate what is your preferred interpretation?
@@josephmaj84 I have this notion that Chopin's work (etudes especially) should be played delicately and almost whimsically, and that rapid runs like what's going on in the right hand here should be largely like a river babbling in the background - bright and clear, and far enough in the background to sound almost feathery. I guess my preference here is for right-left hand balance here to skew more to emphasize the melody in the left hand. (Sorry, this is crazily abstract. It's hard to convey a 'feel' through words.)

맨 마지막에 '파~' 하고 끝나는게 멋지네요, 그리고 빨리 치는데 틀리지 않는게 너무 훌륭해요.

So gentle but full of energy and playfulness, what an incredible performance! I'd be happy if either Eric Lu or Aimi Kobayashi wins this competition, although I suspect they might actually tie for the first prize!

Eric Lu is 4th price of the Chopin Competition. When I see many comments, many people saying “if Eric play like this in difference piece, he will be winner” I think Seong Jin Cho is good. Eric Lu is good too. Do u know why Seong Jin Cho won? Because he is good at Concerto and Eric good at Etude! So what I want to say is everyone have good at something!

Oh my! I've seen photos of Chopin's hands... his hands look IDENTICAL. It's no wonder why he plays this so effortlessly.
.............. loss of words. Some complain that the tempo is too fast, but I think it is an incredible display of technical mastery, while maintaining the musical integrity of the piece. Def the best rendition I have hard so far.

When i first listened this i wasn't sooo excited but now im playing this piece... i play it in any other pianists temp i mean standart tempo but this guy : /// plays in 30 seconds less than my performance at this clarity is just soo great damn 🎉🎉🎉

When I listen to this performance I'm always wondering how Chopin or Liszt used to play this, and what would happen if Eric Lu could show this in a masterclass with Chopin, what can say, even the composer himself, about this playing?
