Almost every time I was hunter, I was Itto bc he’s tall and it makes it easy to climb onto roofs. I would definitely be terrified screaming if Itto was chasing me in Windtrace
When I played in the Dawn Winery map I was Diluc. I stood on the balcony the whole time and the hunter didn’t notice for the longest time. Until they used their favor and marked me with insight. But, as soon as they started climbing to get up, I ran around the building and went back to the balcony and continued standing there for the rest of the game. At the very end one of the other players stood by me for a few seconds before we won. Very fun, I miss Windtrace already, I wish it was a permanent event 😭

Kaeya main here and gotta agree, once I got accustomed to all the maps in Windtrace, since this was the first time for me, I legit CHASED everyone down til I caught them. I know all hiding spots
I remember disguising as a lamp in the Kamisato Estate while playing with a friend... I was literally on the right wall in the entrance of the estate, halfway submerged into the wall. It was a really cool (albeit dumb) hiding spot because almost no-one would suspect you there, and it's the perfect height between the roof and the floor for the hunter not being able to capture you from both. However, as soon as night falls and the lights come on, you're screwed. It was fun tho to watch my friend running around without any idea to where I could be, missing me by inches more times than I could count lol
7:20- for this map, always go to the right of where ant hides first and be the lamp and do your best to wedge yourself in the vines by the window edges. The lamp gets covered mostly by the vines and is mostly invisible- worked for me almost every time

This made me remember that one round where I was literally a lamp on the roof then when the hunter was about to get me I jumped down- I hid in a bush and won XD I didn't even move from that spot- Kaeya (hunter) was so close to me too,like literally right beside me

it takes a lot of brain cell to master the bait technique, the secret is to put it in a "hiding spot" that is universally known and they might think that is a noob and bite the bait, or just a spot that is good enough to be hidden but bad enough to be spotted (observed the spot they already check and put something there) when you are being chased, people tend to spam their capture so putting baits down while running would blind them and give you enough time to escape, the best part is it cool down is much more manage-able, baits are serverely underrated, no need to thank me (except the fact that you have to wait till the next windtrace to try this)
