27 bucks for a burger from a food truck. New York is beyond inflation. That is double what I would have expected 😵💫
I would expect to pay less than that to sit down in a restaurant. Terrific grub I'm sure, but extortionate.
It had beef, chorizo. and chicken on it. Idk if you noticed lately but meat is fuckin expensive.
@@LordDonnington725 It is indeed. But it's not $27 for a burger from a food truck expensive.
@@jasongray4517 Is it because it's from a truck? If you go to a restaurant that burger is double the price. So, it seems fairly priced. Don't order that burger then if you don't wanna pay $27.
Look at how much meat is on that burger of course it’s gonna be 27 it also came with a side too
Venezuelan/Paraguayan what a mix.....
I need that burger in my life
Get gym membership
When I go to New York I feel that the best part will be the food
It’s a real shell of itself especially with all the crime and destitute but you will get some good food and can find some cool places to hangout
You have to try patacon pisao food truck in uptown manhattan
Queens is such a beautiful place. You could argue it’s the best borough. I will never get tired of seeing you try the foods of Queens, Jon.
All those people in the gym watching them eat that burger 😂😂
That Paraguayan steak sandwich looked tasty 👅
Love from Bangladesh buddy... Glad you liked the Fuchka
Crazy neighborhood for food Jackson Heights! Regards to Greg, we did a foodtour with him and he is a gent and a gem
Oh wow….each video you do of the more hidden spots the better. All this food looked stunning and I loved the pride I could sense in the cooks as they showcase their home food. The presentation and obvious deliciousness of the meals is palpable. Jackson Heights rocks ❤❤❤
Man I love this episode! Do more jackson heights crawl!
im so happy for Greg. Ive always loved his content and its good to see him in his home town doing food guides.😊
I definitely want to do a tour one day.
27 bucks is wild 😵💫

Jackson Heights is GOAT
Thanks for providing great content on NYC. My wife and I recently spent a couple of days in New York prior to taking a cruise. We used many of your tips on what to do and see such as taking the Astoria ferry, the High Line and Top of The Rock.
Knowing myself, I would 🩵 every food truck there since I like to eat. Bon Appetit.
So good

It is always important to enlighten your food horizons
I need to go back home to visit.

That Fuska truck. Oh my god. And, the Bhutanese truck. ❤ (thank you for including vegetarian foods)
Oh, you're back in my old neighborhood again! I can't wait to go back!
Watching from NY my man no doubt
Go to Douglas and Fushing Queens oh yeah Woodside Queens 😊😂
You should collab with Xiomanyc, you can show him some of the best food in Jackson Heights and he can order in some of the native languages!
Great video, excellent commentary along with the new to me foods.
Glad you enjoyed it
Hey, I'm from Bangladesh, and this video made me happy.
Food truck from NYC has authentic and real flavor of street food ❤
Freaking amazing, all in 1 amazing neighborhood
the best!
That Paraguayan steak sandwich with egg looked awesome. Glad to see you are back 🙂making videos.
Thank you 😋
@@HereBeBarr It can be hard. Glad you are back.
Very nice selection of ethnic foods! Thanks for sharing
Egg on a burger is 10/10! It tastes good and you don't wake up as hangover.
FYI there's a Bhutanese restaurant called Zhego in Woodside. It's spicy and outstanding. Would recommend heavily. Their Shamu Datsi, pork ribs, and Shakaam pa are amazing. There's another one in a Billiards club called The Weekender which is also very good.
Momo I got to try.
Hi Jon, love your videos! Hope to see you try Georgian food in one of your episodes.
In NM we use green chile as a vegetable too. That chile con queso looked great.
I spent some days in NYC around mid of august; I ate at ADEL'S FAMOUS I disceovers thankt to your videos; box of combo chicken/lamb over rice plus fries was amazing!!! One hour and half waiting in line by 8pm but absolutely worthed it!! Next time wanna visiting this food trucks in QUEENS.....big appreciation from MILANO-Italy ;)
Great video. I need to add Bangladeshi food to my to do list. That looked fantastic!
You should!
I will be trying Jackson Heights in October
Love the jab at Times Square (saying it as a NYC native)
Yes, anyone can be a critic Jon! You're just one outspoken critic out of millions and millions
Think i need to come over and stay in Queens. Food looks good
I have to try Bhutanese version of mirchi ka salan. I didn’t know peppers can be used as a vegetable until I tried it and was surprised as well. Thanks for sharing these unique foods.
Jon is just like me. I cannot do really spicy foods lol.
i'm gradually getting there
Its starting to look good on the food, hello to Greg too....
Never seen some of food. Looks tasty
Hi 👋 I personally need to do that video in real life! Simply yummy! ✌️
I love to go to new places n hopefully I can customize my burgers from food trucks all around the entire continent
I'm gonna check out Jackson Heights the next time I'm in the city, which will be in a few weeks
😎
Souvlaki king honourable mention
YOUR FRIEND IS SO CUUUUUTTTTEEEE!!!!!! 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
Hey Jon, I‘m so thankful for all of your content, it helped me to plan my trip with my family and now we‘re in Manhattan since yesterday. But there‘s one thing that totally surprised me: Literally every single minute you have the heavy smell of weed in your nose, how is that possible? 24 hours walking from Rockefeller to Washington Square and I already feel like a ganja plant 😂
It really is a shame. Just today a player at the US Open tennis match complained of the smell while playing in the outdoor stadium.
@chrism.550 NYC is the city with the highest consumtion of cannabis in USA: Total Weed Consumption: 62.3 metric tons per year. An estimated 1.6 million NYS adults aged 18 and older (12.8%) report using cannabis in the past 30 days, while an estimated 6% of adults consume cannabis daily or near daily.
It’s legal in NYS for recreational use and sale
Just 10 seconds before you said it, I thought to myself how funny you’re eating the Paraguayan/Venezuelan burger in front of Planet Fitness.
For me street food is one the best things about traveling.
Great video
I think i shouldn't have eaten made the joke and just let the viewers say it in the comments haha.
@@HereBeBarr no, it was great comedic timing.
I was going to mention that it’s ironic you eating that burger in front of a gym but then Jon mentioned it 30 seconds into the video 😅
Will be in New York I 72hours. I can't wait. My goal is to eat food I've never had before😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
$8/8 Momos, That works out to $1/momo. That's pretty good in 2023, considering inflation
The Bhelpuri looks delish!
hahaha
Food in Jackson Heights don't disappoint!
Never never never
Bro I'm from Bangladesh and I'm so happy from hearing 5:29
Maybe you need to explore out of jackson heights❗️ better options by me in howard beach but don't tell anyone🤫
Lomito is argentinian, or uruguayan if you want to call it “chivito”
mango lassi 😂😂😂
wow they just murdered concept of lassi.
at best its a mango chaat
Hi Jon! Wanted to share that I am from the city Kolkata in India, where the 'Fuska' you are talking about is originally from. We call it/ spell it Phuchka and its one of the most popular street side snacks here. There are different variations of it all across India, but the name Phuchka originally comes from Kolkata (Calcutta), India! Loved the video 😀
JON, GREG,
"How do I get over my hygiene fears of food trucks 🚚?"
Every truck on this video is licensed, so they do get checks from the sanitation department. But who can really gurantee hygiene in any kitchen, if you're not back there. We went inside of them all and they looke good to us.
lomito is from argentina
The disrespect to Brennan and carr by that viewer.
hahah, he's entitled to his opinion but I love that spot.
Any healthy eating options?🤷🏻♂️
$27 USD plus tax and tip for a street food burger?! what is happening
Are the food vendors still out in December ?
year round
@@HereBeBarrawesome, can’t wait for my first visit ! Not long to go now
Hey John thank you for covering Venezuelan food in your channel! Next time you should go on a hunt for Venezuelan arepas around New York(because we invited the arepas, not Colombians lol). Very insightful video 😁🇻🇪
Do new york officer workers eat street food?
i heard momo is good
“Everyones a critic” 😂 i mean hes paying for the food he can criticize when ever he wants. 😂😂
I said that tongue in cheek i thought that was funny that he stopped me and mentioned it. Of course, we all have our preferences, not everyone loves all the places i like. Totally meant that interaction to be in jest.
Where’s it located?
ohhhman its soo goood eating that unhealthiest food ever across from Planet Fitness 😉🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂
😁
Yep
🇵🇾💙 PY. Love
Did you did it on purpose 😅but……. There is a gym behind you guys 😂. After all that eating😂😂
not on purpose hahaha.
Please try Persian food! It's so delicious!
Proud to be supporting the obesity crisis
😅I don't recommend ema datsi if ur not used to spicy foods
May i work there?
no halal street cart?
Off the island of Manhattan means it’s not in NYC.
