Fun fact: This movie was a hit in Japan. Even though the Japanese are the antagonists, Japanese audiences loved Bruce . It speaks volumes to his influence as a martial artist and actor.
no matter how many actors try to play Bruce Lee in Hollywood, no one compares to the real thing, His energy in the scenes and intensity is epic.
It was HK cinema that tried to create all the fakes: Bruce Le, Bruce Li, Bruce Lei. They even wanted to get Jackie Chan to change his name to Bruce
IKR
Good Namco copied him with their Law character. They copied even one of his most famous clothe. Law with frying pan is something amazing in Tekken 7 lol. He can hit with lol.
Jet Li is about as close as we got.
true, haha
Bruce Lee wasn’t just a revolutionary martial artist and actor.
He was the first ACTION STAR of Hollywood and the movie industry as a whole.
Many people don’t know this to this day.
Before Bruce Lee, there was no movies of a single guy, one hero, beating up all the bad guys.
He was the first to bring the protagonist vs the world concept to screen for the mainstream film industry.
This was what paved the way for Chuck Norris, Silvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bruce Willis, Jason Statham, Steven Seagull, Jackie Chan, Jet Li, Tony Jaa and many more

The REAL Liu Kang no cgi no fireballs, just a badass fight
I wonder how Bruce Lee would've felt if he were given the chance to be Liu Kang in the first live action Mortal Kombat movie, the one with Christopher Lambert as Raiden.
He'd have been perfect for the role 😢
@@Crimson_Sun2486 well robin shou did a great Liu Kang but Bruce Lee as Liu Kang… would have been beyond perfect
@@KevinRichmondIII-dw5owwell van damme was suppose to be johnny cage it would be cool to have such stars but the cast was perfect and having unknown actors playing them with no one outshining nobody. That movie was perfection i dont think nothing can make it better.
BRUCE LEE... WINNNNNS... 😂
Law from Tekken🤧
Bruce Lee is a true martial artist and I wish that he was still around to see just how he has influenced the sport and the world. Always an original.
5:07 ..... his movement , his sounds , this energy
“This time you’re eating paper. The next time it’s gonna be glass!” Lol.
Yeah i remember that too. Wth would he do that?
That first side punch.. Nothing compares in movies these days to how awesome that really is. Play it at half speed.. see how fast he really was..
No wonder Ip Man can beat 10 fighters at one time.... Lke master like student.
I heard the director told him to punch slower than he usually does, coz the cameras at that time weren't fast enough to capture his moves!
@@EdwardChan.999 nunchucks.. not punches or kicks.
I watched in 1/4 speed and it felt fast af still

Bruce Lee died in 1973, 2 years after I was born. I started working at an academic bookshop here in New Zealand in the early 90s (you know, back before the internet was really a thing and people still supported their local retailers). We also stocked trade and general books and at that time were one of the premier booksellers in the country. I had to do couple of hours a day on customer inquiries and even 20 years after his death, we had to make damn sure we always held stock of Bruce Lee's Tao of Jeet Kune Do - and even into the 2000s it still sold steadily. There was always someone coming in looking for that book. I knew exactly where it was shelved and it was a delight to go and get it and hand it over to the customer. They were always so happy to find we had it. I believe it is still in print to this day. He'll always be the GOAT to me, no matter how many pretenders there are.
I still have it in print from the 1990’s. Great publication 😊
Yeah it's really fucked up the way he died. Shouldn't he have known of his own allergies. Bc i know all doctors are supposed to tell their parents of their kid's allergies.
It's amazing how 2 sticks and a chain can be so deadly when you put them in the hands of Bruce Lee. Game over.
Remember that Bruce Lee stood in the place of China, which had been kept down particularly by the Japanese since the 1930s. Japan had invaded China several times and occupied it especially during WWII.
In these movies you'll note like here, Bruce Lee takes on Japanese antagonist and beats them. This was important in these movies and made them more successful because they raised the self-confidence and beliefs of the Chinese people, who liked to see Chinese heros prevail.
To defend the Communist party of China ok we get it
Yeah but it was fine when Lee did it as it was an original story made in Hong Kong. What happens next is that it's been repeated so many times including multiple iterations of Chen Zhen (Lee's character) along with Ip Man and other quasi-Chinese folk heroes to the point that it's just a standard tool of Chinese propaganda now. The worst offenders are the ones who incorporate wire-fu into the story where you have a Japanese character using traditional Karate moves against a Chinese guy flying around on qi power which defeats the entire purpose of their message.
@@AppleDude828 This stuff was way before communism. China was treated pretty harshly by British, to force trade on them. See "Opium Wars" to get an idea. Chinese wanted opium out of their country, but Britain needed the revenue, so... Later, China became a major purveyor of heroin to the West. Karma's a bitch.
Ok ok,
So about the concentration camps and genocide currently being carried out by the Chinese government?
I didn't know that history took place thank you
I always considered Fist of Fury his best film yet...there was silent rage in this movie and the fight scenes even up to today have remained unmatched 💯...and loved the music score 💯💯💯
It was my favourite until I watched enter the dragon 🐉 and his biopic should be called lee or the dragon 🐉 or king of martial arts 🥋
The ending is remarquable
Props to the one who landed the kick at 2:52
Yeah, it caused Bruce to spawn the nunchucks 🤣🤣
Only because Bruce was surrounded by 20+ men, he was able to land a kick.
Just the fact they didn't attack all at once while he took off his shirt is respect lol #RIP
Is movie
And the winner is ???
Gotta love the ragdolls being swung around 2:43
@1:29 one of THE most iconic shots in action movie history!!
No one can equal Bruce Lee, the ultimate power machine. Inch by inch, cm by cm, mm by mm. He is the best.
Bruce Lee is so cool just like Ali !
اية علي اية بطيخ ما كسح عرضو للمقاتل الامريكي
He was called the King of Kung Fu for a reason
He practice alot so understand why is kung fu aint no joke
Like anyone who can who can take his training seriously can be close to bruce li but that idk
the guy that taught Bruce Lee was ip man
Before there was Jackie Chan.
But can he defeat King Kung Fu?
Look it up
The guy who was able to land a kick on Bruce Lee 2:52 should've gotten a raise
But yet it didn't phase him at all!
Just rolled forward and back up and continued fighting like crazy!!
he was a student i dont think they get paid
Dammm 4:12 the way bruce lee was standing with his nunchunks super cool with swagg
I'm not sure if the movie is trying to be funny, but Bruce hitting all those guys in the shins with the nunchakus makes me laugh every time.
Don't worry...we laughed in the movie theater in 1972!!🤣🤣
@alen ...ummm no I don't Live close to Belmont Middle School. Never even heard of it. Sorry dude!
Bruce kicks were so fast that editor has to slow the video to show it, otherwise camera could not able to capture that speed...... Legend👑👑👑
Ip Man was still alive when this movie aired. He must've been proud of Bruce.
This makes me so nostalgic, he is an iconic fighter forever
"You just got Bruce Lee'd ❤"!!!
I love how a fat out of shape master is supposed to be the ultimate boss in this scene 😂
Bruce Lee is the king of fighters 🐉
I am a big fan of bruce lee,
I admire his ability to beat any
Opponents
same
You talk as though you think these movie fights are real !
Bruce is "other worldly". Remarkable, stunning.
“But… Bruce was really the villain… he couldn’t leave well enough alone… blah blah blah”
That’s a parody comment of your typical cobra Kai fanboy . 😂
The special thing with Bruce was that he was an ACTOR, grew up on the film set in Hong Kong. Then he bacame a martial artist in the US with no intention of going back into film. Because of his charisma and skills, Hollywood was fascinated and he went back into acting with the goal of bringing martial arts into film.
He wasn’t an actor who learned martial arts like Keanu. Or a martial artist who became an actor like Chuck. He was a real actor already, and became a martial artist naturally.
He was the fight choreographer in all his movies. He was involved in almost the entire process - business side, writing, production, directing, choreography, editing, set design, hiring other actors, etc etc etc.
In essence, he brought martial arts action to film. No more John Wayne gorilla punches.
Hahaha. The dummies doing the helicopter move is hilarious. 2:43
This is pretty much how I show up to work on Monday mourning 🤣
You beat up all your co-workers and your boss?
Man they all stood there realizing that they just fought a beast of a man, Bruce Lee.
Especially when he breaks out the flail. I wonder how many of those he thumped ended up in the hospital?
@@dennisyoung4631 Yeah. That's why Bruce Lee was arrested and sent to jail.
It's a movie, not real life. Everyone went home at the end of the day.
Who are these people that take try to take the delight and enjoyment away from others who enjoy this man's skills? Nobody gets that kind of speed and beauty in his art without knowing what he's doing! Can't y'all see? He KNEW what he was doing. Nobody's come close. Nobody looks anywhere near as majestic as he did onscreen. That ain't luck folks. Damn we aren't stupid. We KNOW it's a movie. They have to fake it. Just like pro wrestling. Just because it's fake, doesn't mean that they can't be dangerous in a real situation. They fake it so they can work next week. I saw WWFs Rick Rude in a restaurant with his family just before he died and I gotta tell ya. He was HUGE! I wasn't gonna go test him to see if he was fake. I wouldn't advise anyone else to test it either
Bruce lee is a Great Master
His speed is unbelievable to kick two men in a second is crazy
Bruce Lee = The OG GOAT!
Bruce lee was genius 💐💐💐💐
If Bruce Lee was still here, he'd be so good with all the technology we have today....RIP greatest martial artist of all time.
I can’t believe one of the best movie action scenes is from over 50 years ago!
greatest fighter of all time
The best bit about this fight is the stylish jacket removal. 🤣🤣🤣
I always thought that martial artists bow before a match. People forget that Bruce Lee was a phenomenal athlete.
They do. But this was a case of Bruce’s character ready to throw hands to settle a beef
i dont think anyone forgets that
@@melissamoonchild9216 50 years ago, after the movies came out, a lot of people thought that if they took a few lessons they would be just like Bruce Lee. Many of them learned a hard lesson. Before then, the most common martial arts were Karate and Ju Jitsu. Lee popularized Kung Fu and his untimely passing have rise to theories that he was murdered for having made knowledge about the art widespread. For the purists, the TV show was the last straw.
This is why kung fu aint a joke
6:13, that last kick tho...😏is just🤭...oh man...🤣👏🙋♂😁✌😎
It was a real shame to lose Bruce Lee. He was a legend that couldn’t be defeated so easily. Some people, like myself, would say that he’s… a dragon.
This is the best fight scene of all time. I've been watching this movie since I was 4 years old. Now I am 36 years old, which shows how potent this movie is 💪🏾. R.I.P Bruce Lee 🙏🏽.
What is the name of this movie
@@margiedavis1239The Chinese Connection also called Fists of Fury
Bruce Lee aka the ORIGINAL 1 hitta quitta! ✊🏾💪🏾💯
This part always gets me, the scream😂😂😂😂 2:20
2:26 those Throws are badass, I wonder if Bruce Lee was aware of Grappling I think he trained Judo too.
He trained in a lot of martial arts it’s one of the main reason he is considered the father of MMA cause he effectively showed how mixed martial arts could be better than relying on a single martial art
His style is Jeet Kune Do, which takes a bit of everything that is useful from all martial arts and throws away the useless forms.
Especially the ones starting at 2:44 lol
I learned grappling from the Legendary Judo Jean Lebell.
@@IrishKyokushin
Then you should know its
JUDO GENE LEBELL.
A great man and fighter who did train Bruce Lee , Gene is even a stunt man in several of the Green Hornet episodes, he passed away in early August this yr.
A pure genius bruce lee outstanding martial arts expert
A great awesome all mighty tough martial artists bruce lee i ever in my life!💪💪😤😤👍👍
2:32 that scene shows the true speed of Bruce Lee that uppercut that he gives to the Japanese is not seen!! 😮😲😨
Holy shit...you are absolutely correct!! Decades I've watched this movie and NEVER noticed that!!! WOW!!!
From 3:09 - 3:15... EPIC!!! that brief scene helped created the nunchaku craze in the U.S. in the 70's.....👍
this hands down imo is Lee's best film
Growing up this was my favorite Bruce Lee movie he was so hell bent on revenge it was great.
When he kicked one
Others are watching and waiting for their turn 😂😂😂😂😂
Lee rocks as always. Love you man.
A legend , a beast & everything supernatural ❤❤❤❤❤
02:02 look he use only his kicks wow he is a real legend😢
Bruce Lee fight scenes are the only ones where fighters don't keep getting up for some more. One or two punches or kicks and the are done.
He doesn't actually hit them you know.
@@Makeyourselfbig They don't really hit each other, I did not know that. And to think, all this time I thought they were also speaking English. Man, these movies had me going. Next thing you'll be saying is there's no real Star Trek or Star Wars.

That's why he is not fit in mma because he only need few hits and you're done and he said that fights only need to last for 1 minute or else you're enemy might counter your moves and defeat you in the end

Bruce lee is truly The Monster Among Men !
bruce lee is much better than brown Stroman also
Bruce lee is a legend for sure

It's inspirational to every work of life not just martial arts but the passion and finesse makes it fluid like
Just once I would like to see all the bad guys rush him at the same time, you can’t kick 20 guys off you at the same time!
According to most Bruce Lee afficionados here, BL could kick 40 guys off at the same time and finish the rest with his fart.
Its great to know how to defend yourself using a type of fighting style. Unfortunately no matter how many fighting styles you know, the man with the gun is and always will be the boss. Although when no guns are being used people like Bruce Lee will always be the boss.
@@habib8961it was literally like that for the Samoans livin in LA after being pushed out of their home country. Samoans sticked together like family if you missed with one.

He had amazing intensity and swagger.
Japanese bad

Bruce Lee always reminds me of my friend Lee Gunn who kind of respected me RIP Gunner
Even when Lee falls, he uses it as a strength in battle. AMAZING!!!!!!
This is why bruce lee is the best Kung ku fighter he knocked out like 20 strong people
No cgi, no stunt doubles. no wires, no green screens, no nothing.
Bruce is the best ever. The guys in his scenes with him are almost an afterthought. A stunt man’s job is to make the star look like a million dollars. Don’t forget the men who worked with him
