    Amber (Mama) adds so much to your channel. She peppy, fresh, intelligent and beautiful. She has it all and she not camera shy. It’s refreshing to hear an analysis conversation about the videos. Rarely do we see a duo that discusses the song. Usually the partner just says,
    “Oh, that was good.” She definitely says what she thought and why. Yes, a keeper in life and IMHO a keeper on your channel - maybe in a guest capacity, as her time will be soon filled with the new baby.

      I've been thinking the same thing. Amber is a real asset and has lots of relevant commentary to add. I really dislike a lot of the reactors out there. Not much worth listening to. A lot of the commentary and antics on the channel have nothing to do with the music. There is too much over-reaction, ie: wiping of the eyes throughout a song but you never see their eyes water or a tear fall. Bad acting. Or, their is no reaction or emotion at all. Just a thank you, hope you enjoyed it, like & subscribe comment once the video ends. Don't know why people watch those types of reactors. These two are a pretty perfect balance of commentary, chitchat, fun. etc. Love their personalities and positivity. Seem like great people, people that you would enjoy having in your life.

    Amber hit the right note. These love songs are not like today's because back in the late 70s, love songs were on the verge of being religious - his beloved is "His light in his darkest times" and "Savior when he falls." This is going back to renaissance music when the beloved is compared with the heavenly beloved. This is what we mean by sacred love combined with earthly Love. Beautiful reaction.

    The working theory was that love songs were like love letters set to music for the one that you love. The sweet nothings, feelings of heartbreak, and desire both won and lost. And if you whispered them into their ear, you could get a response that would make your heart go all a flutter and put a really big smile on your face.

    I can't think of another song that has softer, silkier, smoother chord transitions than this one. Coupled with the rich harmonies, the Brothers Gibb set the bar very high with this song. Great choice. Probably best heard in stereo. **nudge** **nudge**. Lovely family too.

    I personally think that the reason music is so different now is the changes in how it is delivered. Growing up in the 70's I had to listen to records and 8 track tapes that my parents owned and the radio. There was a lot of country music and I still love old country music but we lived for the TV shows like Solid Gold, American Bandstand and Soul Train that gave us more variety. In the 80's MTV launched and it was a huge deal. When we heard about Thriller coming out, that was an even bigger deal. We didn't have cable or a VCR so I had to go to a friends house to watch music videos. Now there is music coming at you from all directions. You can sit down and listen exclusively to one genre because everything is streaming now and you aren't stuck listening to stuff you don't like in order to get to the stuff you do. You will never know the struggle of waiting by the radio with an old fashioned cassette tape deck to record songs you like.

    • @evieabat7234
      @evieabat7234 3 года назад +3

      True! Listening to music was an EVENT. I waited for hours for my favorite song would come on before I fell asleep. It’s great to have all this accessibility to what we want to hear, but it was different waiting for our faves to play!

    • @chrisoakley5830
      @chrisoakley5830 3 года назад +1

      Back then you almost had to WORK to hear your fav songs. It just meant more when the music wasn't so readily available like it is now. It takes no effort at all.

    • @wwekane2468
      @wwekane2468 3 года назад

      The biggest difference is the artists back then for the most part wrote their own music so it was more real
      Now it’s all flash. The singers have multiple writers writing their songs
