- "Boothill is a hunt, he can't 0 cycle 4 targets." Finally i'll be able to showcase the final high SPD setup for boothill. Since this has been requested by a few Boothill Mains from my discord who actually own the relics.
The last elite from Wave 1 can be oneshotted but i held back on purpose to gain more Energy & Skill points.

Boothill is probably the only dps can run 162/161 speed tunning with bronya that allow him to act like 6 times total in 1 cycles , he is the king of 0 cycles beside Acheron unless the boss have weakness bar lock mechanic when the fight begin like Sam.
Sam will die instantly due to 50% vulnerability once he open that weakness bar. BH Doesn't have a penalty on using this setup because his dmg doesn't come from offensive stats beside BE. So you can swap supports LC to DDD anw.
Ratio been very good in solo cycling too.

Firefly andhim easily can 0 cycle with a well tuned bronya and hmc/rm
imagine if pela is replaced by a certain pink haired male foxian cutie…not only it’s an upgrade for further damage boost but also alleviates chip damage inflicted to characters 🔥

Whoever said boothill can't 0 cycle with this moc buff is clueless.
There's so many videos out there with the current moc buff ft robin(rarely seen outside of fua), wind set ddd setup, and even ratio easily 0 cycle due to the free teamwide huohuo energy.
The current moc buff especially with robin is anything but a reliable showcase. You can literally get away with many unviable, ridiculous team setup abusing ddd and wind set all day and still 0 to 1 cycle.
Kit summary
Pros
- Unrivaled single-target burst potential, capable of dealing 70-100% of total boss HP on a single break, leaving no opportunity for retaliation.
- Extremely high toughness reduction.
- Slightly more SP positive than other Hunt characters like Seele or Ratio.
- Self-implantable physical weakness.
- Capable of 40% action delay, resulting in more average turns.
- Very easy to build, needing only BE and speed to fully function, able to build more defensive for extra survivability.
- Solid team adaptability; although RM and Bronya are BiS, he functions well with Silver Wolf, Pela, HMC, and Robin without significant penalties.
Cons
- Major problems against enemies with disabled weaknesses.
- Very low damage to non-broken enemies.
The cons low dmg on non break enemies is kinda 50:50. Due to his trace, if you build him with 300% break effect, he will have 35% crit rate and 200% crit dmg. Remember, the video build him with HP DEF instead of Crit body. It can go higher for non break enemies with better main stats imo
Cons : might have slower time in clearing when there are no small mobs or elites to break/kill

The only thing I see that helps boothill is that attack increase on her ult and the damage increase on her signature lightcone otherwise sparkle is doing everything else better either way I’d rather use hmc, ruan mei or a def down character

i think Ratio might have more low cost setup for 2 Elite + 1 adds setup but he also has more stage he can't do that without premium invests. 4+ target mobs are pretty hard for him

I means her kit is very overloaded so some probably didn't processed it all. She gets so many self buffs it was kinda crazy. Her major flaw right now is the lack of direction.
No Super Break or Break retrigger means full Break build can't function without HMC.
High BE threshold means can't build enough crits.
Giving her Super Break is too broken since that means she can stack Super Break with HMC. They will probably nerf everything else to add Super Break.
Lowering the BE threshold and balance out some stats is probably the easier fix.

boothil easily clear any MoC . Just Moc type where there ain't any single creep (as the dog up clip) into the phase to apply weakness from Technique then he might gain some trouble doing 0 cycle from getting 3 Bullet ( As 1016 MoC | Firefly's MoC with 2 ice boss and fat 1 only summon after match) but i believe he could cook for 0 cycle still, worth pulling if you like him (just harder in brain gameplay and 4> target content comparing with Firefly since u only have to E brah brah E for her)
He already cooked that stage with insane 9 turn boothill. But i heard that stage will be nerfed so maybe the investment will be lower

Yeah, it’s one of my favorite things about the upcoming break meta, you can run Boothill with a level 1, 3 star light cone, with units that have level 1 traces, and he’ll pretty much perform the same regardless.
By far the unit that needs the least investment across the board to function, he obliterates both Jingliu and Acheron’s previous investment thresholds.

With your current builds, would playing HTB instead of pela result in higher damage or the DEF reduction Is way more valuable than the BE boost?
The only dps that doesn't need atk, crit, and you can build him tanky and still doing insane dmg, I found I missing dps for my break team, I also have ruan mei, I could swap galagher with silverwolf for max dmg 🤠

Man boot hill so good but i cant wont get enough break damage to make him that good.
I’ve seen every beta tester do this and I’ve been wondering if it makes a difference if you use BH skill to enter duel state before you pop ult on him or anyone else? Does that particular order benefit him?
His Ult put physical weakness when he I this state I think
I think the trick is similar to Bronya Blade when Blade enhance his atk then Bronya pop ult so he can get a total 3 attacks with Bronya ult
he gets a lot of energy (10) when he defeat his duel opponent, so it's better to defeat his enemy in duel state, in this case a mob with low hp should be defeated by his ult (by physical break) and then after that, the duel state is reset and you can choose another enemy in the same turn
CMIIW
There are a couple of reasons to use his skill before other ultimates.
1.) Buff extension. His skill is similar to Blade's, so it places him in the turn order and his 'turn' is kinda over except he still has 1 action. If he receives any buffs, they will last an extra turn. In this case, Watchmaker 4pc has a 2 turn buff, so he can extend that buff to 3 turns. He can also get advanced forward by Dx3 at the same time, since he is already in the turn order after using his skill.
2.) Gaining trickshot stacks before attacking. He gains a stack when an enemy he is dueling is broken or defeated, so if you initiate the duel, then ult to break them(with his ult or any other character) he will get a coin before his enhanced basic. Each coin gives 50% toughness damage on his enhanced basic and additional break damage, so skill->ultimate to break the enemy lets his next basic have +1 coin and do more damage. Not always relevant, but it's useful to know.
There might be other reasons, but these are the main 2 I know of.

I am planning to get Bronya from standard selection and I mainly want to pair her with blade…..I want to make her hyperspeed so my blade does not need speed boots (in general i find hyperspeed easier to build in long term and less a hassle)
But it seems that hyperspeed Bronya does not benefit Boothill? A lot of ppl recommend the 162 Boothill and 161 Bronya.
If i were to build Bronya with 161 speed does this also work with Blade not just Boothill? Assuming that my Blade has base 97 speed
Yes, my bronya has less speed than that and I also have hp boots on blade. When I gave her DDD and a hyperspeed setup it shaved off like 2 cycles on my blade run

tfw you realise boothill has the same atk multipliers as seele, a free 30 crit rate and 150 crit damage from his traces, and still, >80% of his damage comes from break damage meanwhile all seele gets is an occasional 80% dmg multiplier...

Should i pull for boothill or robin? I have no support except bronya and hmc but my dps wont go well with robin ( blade and acheron) so i was wondering if i should just pull robin or wait for boothill since my Gallagher and hmc are pretty well built
well, waifu factor aside (bc liking a character is enough of a reason to pull for them), bronya is good enough w blade (and can be used w some other chars too), acheron e0 plays with no harmony at all, + you probably have acess to tingyun even if you don't use her rn
robin is definately a good investment in any case, but it doesn't look like your account is in a desperate need of an additional support, and even if it does there are rumors of ruan mei rerun happening soon, which can be even better because she fits perfectly in literally ANY team (which is not exactly the case w robin although she still does good in most cases) and bc she has good synergy with boothill
Just go for Boothill then Ruan Mei.
Because if we take a look at your characters now, they don't need Robin, they need another strong DPS who can go with any team.

You get another extra turn with a ddd proc at 184 spd. Messenger reduce that numbers to 180. With eagle set this number is just 167.4, with ruan mei you get 10spd less for all of this.

ok so I keep seeing that he scales better with pela than htb. is this true even though htb gives him like 60 BE? I tried using the fribbels optimizer and saw my damage is lesser without htb. for context my current e0s1 build on him as 297 BE out of battle
Were you using the new set? With his signature + set he has 38% def ignore, then maxed out Pela with S5 Pearls is another 58% which puts him at 96% (and full 100% at the start of the fight due to her technique). Thats why she is so incredibly strong with him.
Even with the super break damage?
Superbreak doesnt proc if the target dies first. Since his detonation is already so big you can just buff it to the point where nothing would survive anyways
I think there's two reasons for this. 1. This Boothill build already has an insane 270 BE without any in battle buffs. Now HMC's additional 60 is still a massive buff but I think its for the second reason. 2. This boothill is running iron Calvary. Alongside pela's shred and her light cone's shred the total def reduction+ Calvary's ignore is about 80ish which is ridiculous. 100% shred is essentially double the damage so you could imagine how good 80% shred is

guys... genuine question, which f2p lc i can use for boothill besides his sign? im planning to pull for him but i dont have enough jades to pull for his lc...
His best f2p lc is literally a 3* (the one that gives spd every time u kill an enemy). There's no 4* lc rn that truly benefits him, but he still performs well even without signature.
Maybe keep an eye out for any free 4* lc that gives BE in the future. For now, settle with the 3*
