Nothing more confidence inspiring than crossing an on-camber roadside ditch at 25mph and you cant even fell it! These things are incredible! No words for the suspension on the rxr xp series. Thanks for reciewing all these sweet machines
I went from an 18 XPT and bought the base pro just 3 months ago I’ve put right at 1100 miles on it and I have not had the slightest hick up with my machine. They aren’t joking when these guys use “confidence inspiring” it is one hell of a machine!
Great news!! Thanks for sharing. There seem to be some haters commenting so it is nice to hear some positive comments from an owner.
1100 miles with no problems? Sounds like you got a lemon or great luck? Go buy a lottery ticket ASAP!
Weirdly been difficult to find out some straight forward answers on this stuff. Thanks for making it easy, good vid!
I'm in New Zealand and love my 2020 rzr pro xp ultimate
I'm in the market and this sold me for sure
I wish I had that kind of money
I love all the stuff that you guys do keep it up and I really like the Polaris reviews see you guys next video
Awesome! Thank you!
My dealer sold my matrix assault for me and I just bought a pro xp premium instead, haven't ridden it much but I used to have a x3 xrs and so far I'd say the pro rides better, my x3 was a 2017 154hp one. Hp feels very similar and I can definitely feel the weight of the xp.
I suspect you guy's have read alot of dirtwheels...in the early days! You talk like passionate people and your reviews are awesome👌 Beside reliability rating. And you better stay away from that criteria!! This is only good for wars in the comments!! I like that you always bring alot of specifics good points for any brands. And the most obvious negative points. I mean, you're considering your viewers knows about the subject for years, and edit or skip the boring part of specs reading segments! Very good work! Cheers!
This is just a Polaris commercial and not a real review. I’m a Polaris fan and am on my 5th RZR. Any of the info presented can easily be found on the Polaris website. How about put some miles on it and see what issues you had and what you liked and didn’t. How about the tender springs that collapse? How about the flex in the primary towers causing clutches to grenade? How about the charge tubes being soft and collapsing? How about the wheel bearings popping? I could go on and on. A bunch of issues have been addressed on the 21 models. I just don’t see how this review helps the consumer at all. There are way better reviews out there. Congrats on not calling it a 1000 pro this tine though
Sounds like those are issues YOU experienced. We did not. Unfortunate that you didn't like the review, but appreciate you taking the time to comment and watch though.
Dirt Trax TV appreciate the reply. I am curious about how many miles you out on to complete the review. I don’t know anyone that has a 2020 pro that has put in at least 500km that doesn’t have at least one of the aforementioned issues
@@jasoncrocker4289 Your not wrong in your assumption that we don't put on huge miles, it's physically impossible for us to put on 2000-3000 miles per vehicle due to the amount of vehicles we test but we do put them through their paces and I assume put on more miles quicker than the average consumer. Our rigs usually get 4-800 miles put on in the first few weeks. Those miles are not easy miles and many times break in is backing off the trailer and its WOT and beating on them non stop. We have a total of 720 miles on the turbo and I'm honestly really impressed with how it's stood up. You're welcome to come check the springs, clutches, charge tubes, wheel bearings and anything else you have mentioned, they aren't an issue here. I'll be happy to address issues if we experience them. We even put on significantly larger tires for a tire test and pounded the life outta them, no issues at all. It's unfortunate you think it's just a Polaris commercial but honestly the only thing I'll say I can complain about is the fitment of door plastics after bumping a tree, and truthfully thats our fault. Even the radio antenna is still on, and I figured it would be the first to go. If we experience issues, we talk about them, as of right now with more miles being put on daily we have no issues. Would be interesting though to know how many of the folks grenading clutches, crushing charge tubes and popping wheel bearings are running non factory tunes and asking more than Polaris designed them for, I'll bet it's the majority. ~AJ
Dirt Trax TV thanks for the reply I appreciate the honesty and taking the time. I do enjoy your program a lot. I guess being a Polaris guy and owning a new machine every year I put in a ton of miles but it’s very focused to one machine. I am a part of all the RZR pages so I read lots of the common issues with these machines but you are also probably very correct with aftermarket tunes etc being a contributing factor with some of the common issues. I am just waiting for my 21 XP4 Pro Ultimate to come in as we speak. Polaris has addressed many of the common issues from 20 which is great that they focus greatly on feedback from the customers. Again though, I appreciate the reply and continue to be a fan of the show
You’re absolutely right. Reviewers on RUclips are hardly ever critical of products. They lack journalistic integrity and simply parrot whatever they’re told. It’s sad.
.
At the beginning they actually say it has 22” of wheel travel, but that’s not true. It has 17” front and 20” rear per their website. They claim up to 22” of rear useable travel which isn’t a whee travel measurement... “*Usable Travel is measured, with the vehicle in full droop, from the bottom of the tire to the bottom of the skid plate.”
.
If they can’t even do basic research how can you expect a thorough review... you can’t. They’re just an extension of their marketing arm hiding under the straw man of them not having enough miles on it. Then call it an over view not a review.
.
They’re unethical. It’s actually illegal to receive goods and services for a review and not disclose it, but where do they say Polaris loaned them units so they can make a profit of views? That if they tell the truth and actually review the product objectively they’ll be uninvited from this revenue stream in the future?
.
Then they get defensive when you call them out on it 🤣 As if we’re the unethical ones. No, we are pointing out what they failed to and trying to hold them accountable.
Do a shootout between the x3 xds turbo rr and the pro. They are both 64 inches and make similar hp. I think that would be a very competitive competition between both of them!!!!
We already know the answer. Can Am.
@@RayBlack321 maybe for a drag race reliability not at all clearance not at all.. etc
Great review thanks for another great video
Love and hit like on all your videos. Waiting for Rmax 1000 video
Stay tuned!!
Just finished shooting it, it'll be up soon! ~AJ
Dirt Trax. Awesome
Crazy, I guess this will be the last RZR EVER MADE!!!! it's the ULTIMATE edition so i guess it can never get any better and this will be the threshhold for the rest of our lives. Ya know... giving them calling it the ULTIMATE Edition. Marketing these days.....
Maybe they will do like the iPhone and Go RZR 2.0 then they can ultimatize each version...... just kidding but yeah I don't think they are done....~AJ
High Octane nah the next one will be the redline or the helldog or somethin with a 3 rotor. Its the rzr ultimate...not the ultimate sxs. Way more potential! We know its comin! Cmon polaris...rotary time! At least do a 1400 cc inline if not.
Badass machine....paid almost the same amount for my new chevy trailboss. Too much money for a toy
Not cheap!!
As always, excellent view 🤙🏻🏁
Thanks 👍
These guys are the best!
That's not the stereo antenna? Isn't that antenna so the new Ride Command system can communicate with other vehicles?
Sweet machine
36000 msrp Canadian lmao 🤣🤣🤣 I haven’t got in to drug dealing yet sorry😂😂
It ain't cheap, but dannnnngggggggg it's fun! ~AJ
Huh? Not everyone makes min wage...
@Jimmy Burns warranty is all about the dealer. Mine is heavily modified with a stage 6 big turbo from evo and they have taken care of me a couple times
Great video 👌
Great machine you called it though on the stupid antenna was withal friend who just bought that exact machine first ride antenna was gone no one seen anything now arguing with polaris about warranty
Great review as always. Will y’all be able to get your hands on the new Speed machine by Robby Gordon for a review as well?
We'll see what we can do!
Nice!
I thought they where coming out with a NA 4 cyl
RZR Pro XP R.
If they are it's news to us, but we'd love to see it! I would assume there may be a 3 cylinder RZR motor coming. Actually I'd be shocked if we didn't see a modular engine with fitment across many Polaris lines in the very near future similar to the ACE motors from Rotax. ~AJ
Polaris has to concentrate more on reliability than bling! Let’s see what the cost of ownership is 3 years down the road. I know most of the 3 plus year RzR’s around here are money pits.
The increase in beef in the driveline and chassis on this rig are up in some cases bay 800%, I think they are dressing reliability pretty well now but time will tell ~AJ
Fantastique vidéo 👍👍
Love the content but please abbreviate that extra-long intro (I minute of intro for a 7 minute video), we want to get right to the content. Apart from that great work guys.
Al T you don’t like action shots?!?
@@DanDaMan262498 - I just want to get the the content, guess I'm impatient.
It does seem odd to place the radio antenna there. I imagine it getting snagged on a tree branch pretty easily. Is it easy to relocate?
Can y’all do a Honda fourtrax rancher it the one I want to buy and I want to know how it runs it would be very much appreciated
They well never do entry level consumer products. They are sponsored by big hitters worth that $$$$$$ they are waiting for dirttraxx to put a spotlight on and talk up cherry coat and push no PROXP ULTIMATE edition rzr's. And the majority of people like me and you who buy $7000 Honda ranchers get the back burner. i can tell you I have a Rancher and wouldn't trade it for anything. it is so nimble light easy too use and alot of fun, goes anywhere from the factory. Get it.
@@High_Octane I always laugh when people make comments like this. These are as much about reviewing products as they are entertainment. Im watching this and will never buy a proxp, im a can am guy, but I watch it because im into this stuff and think its cool. Most of their views are people like me, so showing off overpriced quads that are a decade old that are easily outclassed by others (can am L series, yamahas, etc,) for similar price wont get people to watch. Showing off huge HP high dollar rigs with every option is cool and fun to watch. If you want more technical, watch ATVonDemand, although they dont review too many work quads either.
High Octane thanks for the info it helps
@@Whoareyou69420 yeah man no problem. I have a 2020 and the new racks are very nice as is the added little storage at the front rack. it's stays dry. My dad has a Susuki Kingquad 500 and they are close in speed excpet the very top end. he gets me a little bit. but the rancher has tons of power as long as as you dont put on huge tires. it functions best factory size. It's also a very god handling quad compared to the suzuki as the suzuki feels top heavy and the Honda has Lower center of gravity and feels very stable Cheers!!
@@gregrowe1168 than dont compete with 700cc quads with the honda and enjoy it for what its worth, Personally i feel like the chassis would be unbalanced and even dangerous with more power. Hondas are their own breed and i wouldnt ride anything else for the exploration type riding that i do. very good power to weight ratio and i ride a 420cc. the 520 would be insane.
The only thing I wish, is that more manufacturers used gear on gear transmissions. They are faster, more fun, and they have less loss of power between the engine and the wheels.
That's really why I'm considering the TalonX the turbo RZR is the same price. But I don't want to be off road somewhere and be worrying about my belt the entire time
Look into a yxz. 19+ machines are dialed in man. So much fun with the gears.
@@trigger8152 I have a Rancher 420 and a Sportsman, and have to say the Honda is more fun because of the gears. They last 10x longer and you will not regret choosing a Talon.
Trigger my rzr is sitting at 1600km and still original belt
@@tsharko04 I'm not saying there not good or reliable. I prefer gear on gear. I have a 05 Sportsman 500, second belt at 8000 miles. First one went at like 5500. Bulletproof machines.
Feature packed, and yet still doesn't have full doors, but I'm sure Polaris will take your money for that "accessory."
Or a roof....... I need a roof. ~AJ
Honestly the factory doors are great in my opinion, they let a little air in to help keep you cool on the hot days and they 100% protect you from mud. The only mud I get in the cab is over spray
Crazy that I come to see the reviews and the first thing that popped up was an AD about the safety lawsuits and fires against Polariz. What to do what to do 😵💫
Yup, even lawyers can target their ad placements. Not much we can do about that.
Being only 64” wide. Does it roll over easy?
What’s the top speed?
I’m in the market and this thing has my eyes on it.
They do have a roof online in the US
How good is the pro xp base model?
Definetly not cheap but as they say "you get what you pay for" and the smiles/fun per dollar ratio is pretty dang good for this i bet
Best part about this machine is...it’s still a 64 inch...
Yeah 64" is the sweet spot for the Turbo's, 72 isn't as fun on the trails and 60 is too narrow for this much power. ~AJ
Dirt Trax TV Agreed!
68 would be perfect
Yep 64” will barely fit on east coast trails. Anything more than that is for west coasters
Enjoy your videos and tv show. What is the tire on this machine?
Thank you!! The tires are Maxxis Carnivores.
I can get a Rubicon for same price? And drive it every day!
floorya cant drive a Rubicon like you can a SxS
I can get a talon r and a turbo for less and I get a gear to gear trans
People bag on it, but it has almost as much utility as the KRX 1000 and is WAY faster.
It is a beast for sure! ~AJ
Lol "it just broke off"
*I really don't like the look of the pro xp.. I prefer the look of the RZR 1000 Turbo xp*
Stop calling it a 1000🙄
@@jasoncrocker4289 is my 2020 Can-Am Renegade 1000 XMR not a 1000 too? Your very un-educated ans out of your pay grade buddy
There are two motors between those two. RZR XP 1000 (999cc) vs RZR XP Turbo (925cc). There is no such thing as a RZR XP 1000 Turbo....unless someone adds an aftermarket turbo to their RZR 1000. So Jason Crocker is right.
But I agree with Skeg Machine, the PRO XP is very ugly.
@@jeremiahlf its a turbo charged "1000cc" your the uneducated one here If you debadge a diesel it doesn't make it a gas job it still has the 925cc power train. Your the imbecile here.
Hello there
😀👍🧡💚
Rather have a turbo S. The genders allowed to eat mud. Even with very weird full door inserts mud, water and debris still comes straight through the other gaps you can’t close. Turbo s being on the same price point. This may be the better buy. But it’s also Ugly AF.
So when you're ripping down a tight, rocky trail with massive trees wizzing by make sure you keep your eyes on the suspension performance tv screen. Cause you know, you absolutely have to know what your front right shock is doing at all times. To funny.
IT Cost 40k
Yup, it ain't a 570 that's for sure!
No, not 22” of wheel travel... it’s 22” of Polaris made up number which combines wheel travel with ground clearance so they can somehow compete with Can Am X3 24” of true rear travel.
Now take this threw mud
They own you
Go back to your roots.
Polaris just doesn't have the reliability they are always in the shop
Motor will last maybe two seasons of riding lol
None of the turbo engines are going to be reliable. I'm sure the X3 turbo engines don't last either. If you have a turbo, you're going to run it hard. Otherwise, what's the point? Around here, it would be pointless to own one. Nowhere you can actually go except pavement that you could actually use all the power. Its a dunes and desert machine.
Polaris is a great machine. And they sell a awful lot of them. But they never trie to help you with the price tag. I think they are greedy and I would never get another one. They already took me for 35k. And they never try to help me with anything. Just pay pay pay. They suck .
