Fantastic compilation. Really appreciate the long scenes surrounding Liz, not just her appearances. As dark and depressing as the scene with Silvio and Ade itself.
The my daughter’s dead scene at the Saint elzear festival is one of the darkest in the whole show. The way they juxtaposed the carnival at night and Liz confronting carm about Ade is like an eerie nightmare
Liz is one of those Soprano characters I wish we had gotten more of, sister to Jackie Sr and Ritchie. I would love to have seen or gotten an idea of how it was like growing up with them, how she felt about them? what it was like for Ade etc. Since we only see Liz interacting with her daughter, Chris and Carmela one time each before we see her try to kill herself.
Pus(s), Ritchie, Jimmy, Jackie Jr., Ralph, Vito, Ade, all close friends of the Sopranos, that mysteriously disappeared. Yet Carmela can't see the writing on the wall?
Carmella knew about Ritchie. Tony told her in so many words. He said he's gone and Don't make me make you a an accessory after the fact. Stop asking. Then Carmella says wow that definitely wasn't a marriage made in heaven. Also with Sal he was on the run before he came back in season 2 so Carmella could've just thought he left Angie again
Yeah I mean there's definitely a lot of willful ignorance there. But Tony also used the witness protection program as an excuse. Or in the case of Jackie Junior, a couple of black guys. Ultimately, if Carmela were to think too hard on it, her entire cushy life would come crashing down. As shown in the scene where she goes to therapy, she prefers to keep the moral blinders on.
The fact that he pushed her mama like that and she ran right to him, she got everything she deserved. I get she loved him and wanted to be with him but he hurts your mother and you agree to marry him? If he hurts your precious mother how can he respect you? How can you respect yourself?
Tony explaining to Carmela that Christopher couldn't have killed Adriana statistically should have been Carmela's way of knowing that he absolutely did kill her.
Christopher disrespecting and hurting Liz in her on home , and using THAT as an opportunity to propose to her daughter let us know exactly who he was and how this relationship would go; I never understood why Ad didn't react more to that. I think the first time Chris hurts Ad she rubs her wrist after as well and Liz is dressed just like her daughter. "When you get hurt again, this door is closed to you." That line probably haunted her forever. All through the series the guys consider themselves honorable because "you don't touch the family, wife, kids" but the show constantly demonstrates this is a lie. The kids are orphaned/tramatized/corrupted. The mother's have loved ones ripped away and in Liz's case everyone acts like you are crazy when they all are somehow involved. Angie was the exception, she was better off and happier without Sal and went from asking for a handout to putting money on the street. (Do the Angie story next *wink wink*)

Her past relantionships before Chrissy didn't indicate being mobsters. In other words, she is closer to Meadow than to Carmela. Carmela chose to get in this lifestyle. Plus she is in a relantionship with a more intelligent man who plans out the worse case scenario. Chrissy never had deep conversations about the "what ifs" of him getting whacked or going to prison to Ade. Etc I could write more. But I think that's enough.
It wouldn't have worked. If you remember in one of the episodes they detain Adrianna for half a day and lie to her telling her there are no lawyers available. The FBI lied to her to get her to cooperate and Ade was even dumber when she tried to push marriage thinking she wouldn't have to testify against her husband. Now Ade is more like Fredo, she is from a family so deep in the business, and also from a younger generation than Carmela, a slightly more coddled and homestuck millennial I'd suppose, that I highly doubt she'd have Jackie, Richie, or any of the other career criminals letting her anywhere near criminals, as friends, mentors, even worse boyfriends, for a little while.
Even though she had been ratting on him in private to the feds all the while.
Good-niss, he speaks of Adriana L. in past tense. Tone says she wuz a great garl.
I learnt that waching 60 min & first 48.💙 superb channel here.

Imagine seeing your daughter go through this and losing her this way :/
Gotta love how he just tosses the mother aside physically and she still takes him back 😂
James G was really wheezing in these clips.
@2:39 “omg she looks terrible”
Liz without 8 lbs of makeup, no crazy hairdo, no ultra tight pants, no cleavage, sober, looking normal and pretty much average.
YT and their weirdness deleted my comment twice. So no quote here.
Liz LaCerva - nice one!
sometimes it doesn't let me comment. i dont know if there's specific words blocked. weird
@@ceerious There are times I have to comment 2-3 times for it to stick.
There are certain words automatically flagged on here - even harmless ones. On this one, I curbed the language. If I did it any more, it wouldn't even look like a quote at all. I can guess what the word they censored was, so I guess I'll have to remember that one too.
So, next time sir.
@@themattefferi sometimes cant even say subscriber lol.
@@ceerious what a place this is sometimes.
Trust me, it’s like taking a sh**.
@thematteffer it's ridiculous I know. It happens to me too. Yt won't let us eat
How do you clip shows without getting it taken down by RUclips?
"I'll bet there's broken glass in the box"?😅
Adrianna, it's sad when they go young like that
whatever happened there...
When they GO??!
Carmine knew how fond I was of this girl. I picked her out of the chorus! Schooled her on soft drinks of choice
Gotta love how Tony essentially gaslights Carmella into dropping the subject of Adriana’s “disappearance” by admitting how her and Chris had a toxic relationship all along and Chris is “doing a lot better now so let’s not sabotage his progress.”
What did Carmella expect from that line of questioning when the answer would be if she got whacked and Tony didn't punish Christopher meant she was either a rat(which she was) or did something else that jeopardized the family. This is why Tony couldn't stand her at times. For as smart as she can be, she sure was a stupid when it came to the life they were leading.
Patty McCormack: The Bad Seed.
She should’ve told Christopher “she was damaged goods!” 🤷🏻
@4:15...The juice is loose!
I like it when it says some pulp
@thestaubmob6877 lol 😆 me too not gonna lie
He’s no less a running back right?!
Man the view Chris had of all that cake when he was walking up the stairs behind Liz.
I always loved scenes when Tony and Carmella were sweet to each other.
