Maybe they knew his family and secretly went to them when Elsa discovered her powers at 3-5 years old and had to tell someone and it happened to be Hans family.....
Scarlet witch Could be, but until there's a second movie (which would be horrible if you look at the history of previous sequels Disney has made) or confirmation from the creators of frozen I will not believe in this theory when there is no evidence to support it.
Scott Lange that doesn't ruin my childhood. In all honesty shows like Xmen, Spiderman, silver surfer, teen titans etc are what made up most of my childhood.
No Li Shang was bi because he loved her when he thought she was a guy and also in the end when he knew she was a girl And Cinderella also went deaf at her wedding from the rice being thrown. (it went in her ears and caused infections)
Bell can't love Aladdin if she's never met him. She thinks he's cool but she's only thinking of an idealized version fit to her preferences. As for Shen being gay, China was upset enough with the changes Disney made. Shen is probably upset about the lie and cultural reasons of his time.
All these theories in this vid didn't ruin my childhood Nice try screen rant but it will take more than theory that will ruin childhood to ruin mine....IDK what i'm typing
Are you a Charlie And the Chocolate Factory fan? A theory is that all of the children died at the end and when Charlie goes up in the glass elevator it resembles him going I said from seeing all of the deaths and going to heaven. Yikes!
I really don’t agree with the motherless figure for all Brothers Grimm based movies. Most of the original and older movies where based off of the Grimm stories, and none of those has mother figures. Probably for the never ones though, or maybe he just didn’t want to make a storyline for their parents too and wanted to say “they died” so it was less work.
Calypso Valdez ehh, I feel awkward, maybe the person I am replying to is calypso ? Maybe coz that makes calypso and Leo bi? Idk but anyway GO US BI PPL!
I mean even if people haven’t seen into the woods, they might have read the original grimms brothers tale. But ScreenRant got their info wrong bc only one of the step sisters cuts off their toes and it’s not even multiple toes, only her big toe gets cut off. While the other step sister gets her heel cut off.
Wait wait wait.... frozen.... was made in 2013!!!!!!!! OMG it feels like yesterday srsly i honestly thought it was release like two yrs ago there’s still so much buzz sorrounding it!
4:38 Harry Potter? Daring sword fights= Snape and Sectumsempra, Magic Spells= It's obvious, Far-off places= Hogwarts, and a prince in disguise= Snape is the Half-Blood Prince, wait... so she's in love with SNAPE? Or it could be her own story, seeing as Gaston and Adam have an awesome fight, the Enchantress does magic stuff, there's the beast's castle and the beast was secretly Prince Adam.
To be fair, she could be in love with Luke Skywalker... "daring swordfights" are obviously lightsaber battles, "magic spells" is definitely code for The Force. How about this Far-off place, sounds suspiciously like a galaxy far far away...
Sectumsempra is a spell that causes blood to spurt from the torso area, not like a straight or curved blade. Magic Spells can apply to Aladdin as well. Hogwarts is in England. Harry Potter lives in England. Not exactly a "far-off" place. The half-blood Prince doesn't mean a prince in ROYALTY!
Though the Elsa and arial theory is great there is also another one.It was thought that Elsa and Anna's parents went to go see the birth of rapunzal. Because of a storm they were ship wrecked on a island. Hence giving birth to tarazan. Then years later as rapunzal finds her parents she learns about them coming to visit. She then went to see Elsa be crowned. This theory is heavily supported because the ships in tarazan and frozen look the same. And in frozen if you pause at the right moments you can catch rapunzal twice. The parents also made it seem like they were brining gifts as if to give to rapunzal's parents. This theory could be wrong but there is a good bit to back it up.
I think that Belle is describing her own story ,daring fights is the fight at the end that kills the beast, the prince in disguise is the Beast himself. So the book she was describing was her own.
In Denmark we say "Hug en hæl og klip en tå", which basically means "Chop a heel and cut a toe" - it is a 'common' and wellknown way of saying "you have to compromise a bit to get what you want/to make it fit". We are told the real fairytale of Cinderella when we are kids here :D
The director was just making fun of those rediculous theories, when he "confirmed" it. he also mentioned the land they stranded on was inhabited by surfing penguins... it doesn't even make sense as it was already mentioned that Tarzan is set 200 years after Frozen...
You forgot that in the original Snow White, the evil queen was made to wear iron shoes that had been heated over the coals and forced to dance in them at Snow White's wedding...
Just so we are all up to speed Walt Disney was also an outspoken racist (typical for the time and his position) and his early work shows this to be true.
Just wanna say that you can be heartbroken even if you are betrayed by somebody you considered your friend. And their relationship is more realistic than "usual" ones
was alive in wonderland a Disney film? well, anyway, it was about drugs. yep. the caterpillar was smoking something that made his speech odd, Alice ate the 'mushroom' along with little cookies, and a drink me bottle, which all made her see things. drugs.
The Sleeping Beauty stories we all know were written by Charles Perrault and the Brothers Grimm. The dark story mentioned in this video is a much earlier story called Sun, Moon and Talia.
RayD2Kill the captain isn't gay. In Mulan 2 they are together as a couple. You could argue he's bi but he is in love with Mulan in Mulan 2 so clearly gender isn't an issue for him.
Lily I'm talking about how the theory states that he might be gay, sorry if I wasn't clear in my comment. I totaly forgot about the second movie, only watched the first 10 minutes then stopped it.
my favourite Disney movie is Mulan because its actually pretty realistic and like she went of to a war because she din't want her father to go so sweet
I always heard that mothers weren't in Disney films because if they were, they would've instilled good morals and values into their children, thus leading them to be good, content with what they had in life, and never rebellious, as they all seem to be with only their fathers around.
I've a heard a story that Elsa is actually lesbian and her parents were ashamed of it and the whole idea of 'keeping the secret' actually makes sense then. And that fans are signing the petition to make and show Elsa as a lesbian in the second part of the Frozen movie, making her the first lesbian Disney princess.
I don't disagree with the abuse and neglect. But "Elsa and Anna's parents to Hans to use the iron shackles"..... from beyond the grave???? What if the prison was just set up that way to bind the prisoners by the hands and being that they were iron they could withstand extreme cold temperatures of the Norway winters. Probably made by the same iron that would use on boats in fridge water temperatures. And then Hans having been looking for ways to contain her figured the iron would hold. Which would also show just how powerful Elsa really was to break these shackles by her ice powers.
The original Cinderella was written almost 2500-+ years ago in China as said you can find the original Cinderella storey in the back of the children's biography of Chinese Cinderella
To be honest, anytime I realize that Cinderella had originally went with a pink dress, but the fairy godmother gave her a blue/silver dress, I think of the moment with Aurora's adoptive fairy parents arguing over the color of her dress
Could it be Hypatia Cinderella and aurora be related then although this is just a simple theory but it could lead to a lot of investigation to continue
1. Sun, Moon and Talia was already adapted into Sleeping Beauty, i.e. a less-messed up version of the story, long before Disney got their hands on it. 2. Considering he married Mulan in the sequel, Shang could be bisexual. 3. Considering that Elsa and Anna's parents were DEAD, I doubt Hans heard about the manacles from them.
A while ago me and my boyfriend were talking about Disney characters When he asked who was the short guy from Cinderella that followed the prince? It took me a second to realise who he was talking about and I couldn't stop laughing when I told him that's the king He thought the king was the tall skinny guy (the Duke)
I saw a video once that argued with the theory that Elsa was abused. It talked about how in the movie, whenever Elsa was scared she kept hugging her dad which showed that she at least trusted him but I do think that maybe her parents were afraid of Elsa which is why they made the prison thing specifically for Elsa.
Oh my god I just realized belle could have been reading her own story, with a few tiny differences *daring swordfights* while the end fight between Gaston and The Beast, wasn’t really a sword fight, it was a fight, and pretty daring. *magic spells* what was it again that made The Beast a beast? *faroff places* the castle The Beast lives in clearly isn’t right by the town or it would’ve been found a whole lot sooner. It’s pretty faroff if you ask me *princes in disguise* I think this one is pretty self explanitory
Why would Princess Snow White ever visit dwarf bums ever again? She’s above them now. Last time I watched the movie she seemed pretty full of it. Also, I always thought Belle was reading her own story
The shackles for Elsa were made by her parents in case she ever lost control and needed to be concealed, hans wasn’t ever told to use but were told about them in case of anything sense for Anna had trusted him. she had locked HERSELF up because she had major issues and didn’t want to hurt anyone, like she has hurt Anna. So her parents hadn’t abused her because she had abused herself.
How did Elsa's parents tell Hans to use the shackles if they have been dead 3 years before he showed up to Arendelle?
Exactly lmao.
They’re just grasping after straws here
Ghosts? It's just an idea so ya never know.
I have yet to hear a cartoon theory that has ruined my childhood
Yeah same
Meh I actually read the grim fairytales first
Scott Lange that doesn't ruin my childhood. In all honesty shows like Xmen, Spiderman, silver surfer, teen titans etc are what made up most of my childhood.

No Li Shang was bi because he loved her when he thought she was a guy and also in the end when he knew she was a girl

Go bi guy!!
Seriously? I was just feeling happy and u *had* to ruin it with that morbid fact _thanks_ 😢😠😬😂
AbbyGirl 8 has a hat
Leo Valdez such an honor to meet you Leo Valdez! I’m the sister of Annabeth how has she been?
he ain't bi bc he Was disappointed she was a girl and heart broken!!!THEN AT THE END he was bi!!!or straight?
@@viviantran7063 hello sister! I'm a daughter of Athena too
Actually, I think Lee Shang is more bi, not gay because in the second one her has more feelings for her and they get married
Snicker Doodles I think he’s more pan...gender differences don’t matter to him, it’s personality
Snicker Doodles he just fell in love with who mulan truley was
If the slipper fit Cinderella's foot, then why did it fall off?
She was running real fast and it came off.
DUN DUN DUNNNNNN
In the origanal story, I believe the Prince put tar on the step so she could get stuck and not run away
Cause otherwise, i would be a really bad story/ cause someone decided to do that.
Snicker Doodles they touch the pitch (tar) issue with Disney's version of Into the Woods
NO WAY AM I CUTTING OFF MY FOOT JUST TO FIT A SHOE. I wouldn't care if the shoe was even NEW AND BEAUTIFUL.
Oh my
PigPorkParodies I know. Or you disagree! If so, I respect your opinion.
Robert Caldwell Simulator X.D. Videos you know they wanted to become queen
sofi miraculous I know that. I can understand stand that they would want to sacrifice there half foots to be queen. And I don't blame them.
I know right !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bell can't love Aladdin if she's never met him. She thinks he's cool but she's only thinking of an idealized version fit to her preferences. As for Shen being gay, China was upset enough with the changes Disney made. Shen is probably upset about the lie and cultural reasons of his time.
SalamandersRCool *Shang
you can love someone that you have never met
All these theories in this vid didn't ruin my childhood
Nice try screen rant but it will take more than theory that will ruin childhood to ruin mine....IDK what i'm typing
Assassin Valley 24 i AM a child... i still get childhood left... it still didn't ruin what i got behind me... 11 years...
I loved my childhood too
same
Assassin Valley 24 yeah so many OTHER THINGS ruined my childhood
Are you a Charlie And the Chocolate Factory fan? A theory is that all of the children died at the end and when Charlie goes up in the glass elevator it resembles him going I said from seeing all of the deaths and going to heaven. Yikes!
They don't have mothers because in the original stories they didn't have mothers
Teresa Abel true.
Exactly
+무나 BTS ARMY For Life ayeee Army!!
Didnt a writer of Frozen say Elsa parents survived. Made it to an island and proceeded to describe the atmosphere of Tarzan vaguely
Aliquid Gaming yes they did.
I'm pretty sure they said indeed that they were in fact Tarzan's parents. Liie it's fact I'm pretty sure.
I don’t care what they say, for that to happen there would have to be a fire and life boats!
And if they were going to Germany how they end up in Africa
Rebecca Garza Jesus. Calm down. I'm just telling you what they said.
The Mulan theory is bullcrap. In Mulan 2 Mulan and Shang get married and they both clearly love each other. Shang is in love with Mulan, not “Ping”
Kitty Draws Agree to disagree. Not being homophonic btw. I actually identify as a lesbian.
Calypso Valdez You’re right he could be. Guess we’ll never actually know his true sexuality though, but that’s why fan theories are a thing.
Cassandra Spoelhof truuue!
I couldn't agree more
Lol mulan 2 ruined that with the wedding...maybe he can be bi still
The Joker but not the joker thank you for actually realising diversity.
Calypso Valdez ehh, I feel awkward, maybe the person I am replying to is calypso ? Maybe coz that makes calypso and Leo bi? Idk but anyway GO US BI PPL!
AlexisRene279 HI yeah I know right? He can’t be gay when he married Mulan in Mulan 2
I actually think he's bi, but idk
We already know about the Cinderella theory cause we all saw Into the Woods right?
Henry Cook thats what i was thinking
No not really. My kindergarten thought that it would be a good Idea to read the original stories to us
No. *I* bothered to read the original stories
Kiki The Witch
Exactly!
Question: if Shang is gay why did he marry Mulan in the sequal🤔? (Just curious not being mean.)
disney thinks its a porblem to have gay people
That's what I was thinking lol. And the not kissing part could be due to culture
He is not gay its the culture that they live in at the time pda was frowned upon so he would not kiss her unless they where at their wedding
Because he liked her Anime Lover
cause hes bi
Well the prince finds Aurora
Gets her pregnant
And leaves her because he already has a wife
CLASSIC MEN
lol

I was looking for this comment. XD

Get real Cody
Wow so deep
It could be frozen I mean IT has magic spells far off places I believe it has daring sword fights and Hans seems like the prince in disguise
Man this is cool! :D And nice editing! :D I'm morbid :D :D

Actually if you read Queen of All Evil, Malecient is Aurora's mommy dearest.
So I forgot an f in there
Trying to find it, did you mean Mistress of All Evil? If not, please linky link the story so I can read if you don't mind!
Sy West it was in maleficent
um, not sure how to think about that
6:22
That didn’t ruin my childhood......
I’ve known that for years
I always thought and will continue thinking that Belle's book was foreshadowing her own love story.
I‘m from Austria and everyone here was told the real story. I didn’t know there was a child friendly version of Cinderella
Another theory is that belle was describing her own story the description works for both
I'm obsessed with your channel
0:21 Time stone, Is that you?
I understood that reference ;)
The thing that always bugged me about Cinderella was the Prince, having a wonderful time with a girl at a party, NEVER LOOKED AT HER FACE.
He had prosopagnosia, caused by the magic slippers.
Not to burst your bubble but in the straight to dvd sequel mulan and the captain get married don't they?
Sub panther yeah they do hes probably bi
Calypso Valdez Hey you are not forgotten
I think that Belle is describing her own story ,daring fights is the fight at the end that kills the beast, the prince in disguise is the Beast himself. So the book she was describing was her own.
Mulan is no Princess tho x: Nor does she become one since Lisheng isn't a prince. ._. Like Ezmeralda isn't a princess either, only marrying a Knight.
The Tarzan theory was confirmd... I think
Utile you’re right, it was
It's bull because Tarzan is set 200 years after Frozen.
Utile it was
Basically
The director was just making fun of those rediculous theories, when he "confirmed" it. he also mentioned the land they stranded on was inhabited by surfing penguins... it doesn't even make sense as it was already mentioned that Tarzan is set 200 years after Frozen...
3:45 PAINTING YOUR UNDEER ARREST FOR DABBING! Now how am I supposed to handcuff you?
Elsa is not a princess she's a queen. Plus Moana it's not a official Disney princess yet.
Chris Wincek Moana was NOT a princess!
I did not say Moana is a Disney princess.
I just said Disney has not made Moana a Disney.
You forgot that in the original Snow White, the evil queen was made to wear iron shoes that had been heated over the coals and forced to dance in them at Snow White's wedding...
I think you mean "the same way" 10:51
Childhood:Don’t do it your wonderful playfulness will dye
Me:Were have you been this whole time
Just so we are all up to speed Walt Disney was also an outspoken racist (typical for the time and his position) and his early work shows this to be true.
He was also sexist because every princess needed to be rescued by some man. [/sarcasm]
rizon72 yeah well I think that's pretty accurate.
Its only accurate if you're the biased one who has to see racism and sexism in everything. Look in the mirror, you're the bigger problem.
rizon72 says the pot to the kettle
Look in the mirror, you'd be surprised.
Just wanna say that you can be heartbroken even if you are betrayed by somebody you considered your friend.
And their relationship is more realistic than "usual" ones
"Classic Men"
ROFL 🤣
Oh dear what an AWKWARD SITUATION! Man I love it when she says that..😃😃
I do believe that Elsa could have brought her powers to light, and to be loved by everyone. And be okay with it
the 1 i find most disturbing is the Ariel one. she is dancing around with possessions of drowned dead people. i never thought about it that way.
I'm really tired of the edgelord darkity dark dark theories on kids stuff. Too many people take them as canon.
“Well if this won’t do it, then nothing will”
Well then I guess my childhood is indestructible
Well, at least Screen Rant is adequately monetized.
6:22 it's more likely he's bi or pan since he married her when he knew she was a girl and fell for her when he thought she was a guy
I love all violins and they just made a bad chois. Then they DIE!!!!! It is not fair!
Your videos are getting better compared to other theory channels good job 👍🏽

Anastasia Galanova the actor said that she was happy to play it and even wanted to, so...probably.
Sleeping beauty disturbed me the most. Although I already knew about the others.
Lee Shang being bisexual has made my childhood even better what are you talking about
I have always thought that bell`s fav book was basically a sum up of the whole movie...
Mulan 2 shows us more of the development of the relationship between Mulan and Shang
"Classic Men"
"She Dead"
🤣
Sleeping beauty was the most desturbing, but that one I already knew
Ruin my childhood?
Nahhhh... I’m one of those people who actually would much prefer to see this sort of ending 😂
I heard a theory that Elsa was a metaphor for someone with a panic disorder or depression.
The "elsa is abused" theory, it makes sense, but what if all the cells in the dungeon had those kind of shackles ?
The original Cinderella was written almost 2500-+ years ago in China as said you can find the original Cinderella storey in the back of the children's biography of Chinese Cinderella

Oh my god I just realized belle could have been reading her own story, with a few tiny differences
*daring swordfights* while the end fight between Gaston and The Beast, wasn’t really a sword fight, it was a fight, and pretty daring.
*magic spells* what was it again that made The Beast a beast?
*faroff places* the castle The Beast lives in clearly isn’t right by the town or it would’ve been found a whole lot sooner. It’s pretty faroff if you ask me
*princes in disguise* I think this one is pretty self explanitory
I love how he was talking about a cheating man in sleeping beauty. Then he said “classical men” when he is a man.
As a child I always thought that the book Belle was reading sounded a lot like her own story, the "prince in disguise" being the Beast.
I just watched Beauty and the Beast for the 1st time recently, and that's what I thought, too!
Why would Princess Snow White ever visit dwarf bums ever again? She’s above them now. Last time I watched the movie she seemed pretty full of it.
Also, I always thought Belle was reading her own story

And I tought my life already was ruined! 😂😂😂
I already knew about the Cinderella theory from school and into the woods
Now whenever somebody mentions one of these or I’m watching it with someone I can say dark stuff. YAY
How could Elsa's parents tell Hans to use the shackles on her if there were already dead????? If anything Rumpelstiltskin told him haha.

Am I the only one who didn't know Walt Disney had a brother? 😂
They say that the sleeping beauty origin is dark and scary, but honestly it just made me laugh so hard
"The parents must have told Hans how to lock up their daughter" But... they dead? They never met Hans.
If her shoe fit perfectly, how did it fall off?
