Having watched the snatches and jerks of the men and women this competition, from a weightlifter’s perspective their technique in both lifts is very good to outstanding across the board. It’s fantastic that they have gotten this far along, given the very challenging and diverse multi-test format in which they compete. Congratulations to all!
I've so impressed their technique remains this good after 1 - already having competed in 5 events, and 2 - having a very strange warmup and wait period! its's actually insane
For real took me forever to find and get it to work lol. I also couldn't get it to play using ESPN but I was able to get onto ESPN and play mostly everything else!
I enjoyed watching weightlifting at the Olympics, but I wish they had used the original Olympic total, which is the press, snatch and clean and jerk. It was still fun to watch, and I was impressed by the strength and skill of the athletes.
Tovar's commentary cracks me up. They remind me of Cliff Clavin comments from that show Cheers. She and Sean have no rapport and it's like he just ignores her.
Omg this female announcer won't shut up. You don't have to fill every second with words. Let the crowd and lifter breathe we want to hear the hype. Literally talking throughout every lift.
Too bad the programming this year was garbage 🙃 no swims, barely any endurance, only one handstand event! There were no penalties for athletes with poor endurance this year!
she looked like she wasn't going too heavy on purpose? Her attempts were small in that field so I assume she was trying to prevent exacerbating some injury? I never found out
It would've been really good to see her. Last year, if I'm not mistaken, nobody could lift over 240lbs except Dani who lifted 245lbs. This year she has some competition because these ladies have gotten stronger and lifting over 245lbs.
Horvath would have been competitive at the European Championships with the weight that she put up. What this makes me think is that the CrossFit Games test for the fittest lifter. None of these athletes would be competitive at European Regional let alone Championship level track events. Far too much emphasis on super heavy weights to select for a truly balanced winner.

Why is this unlisted on their RUclips channel?

Really appreciate the guy saying the kilograms right after saying lbs. Makes it so much easier to follow! 🇦🇺 Usually I have my calculator out😅😊❤❤
You're welcome. Thank you for watching!

I would have loved if they went to the original Olympic total, the press , snatch and clean and jerk! But still fun to watch!
Magically ‼this 😀🤘🏼

She is so, so bad lol
Imagine rocking a weight that 90% AFTER 8 events
35:46, that's not what triple extension is
yeah that was some pretty embarrassing commentary...
I'm only watching this if its got the Speegle Spice
💪👍💪
I respect fhis
@@Travelingwithmeblog agreed mate 👍
Once again, terrible audio. Can barely hear the announcers.

how are you trying to argue that biking 40 min and running a 5k doesn't count as endurance...?
@@arthurtheaardvark13 im just saying that was it! Im not sure if youve watched the past games or if this is your first but its much less then normal
No advantage of being first in this event, announcers are a joke.
Итальянка ! Я безума от неё !
Турчанка ! Хорошая !
Why tf was Danielle trying to power clean?!

LAURA HORVATH [AGAIN]!!! TOUGH😤😤😤
It was painful listening to Stacy commentate
Really missed Dani Speagle on this one

After this year, I no longer looks forward to the games anymore. Terrible programming and coverage. Rogue is the new CrossFit games for me
Hi D. Thank you for your feedback. Have a nice day.

I think Lawson because of her weight class! Also, this applies to Tia (obviously), and Camille LeBlanc (double wb clean&jerk).
