Adler was a true professional in applauding Roman. He showed respect for Roman's performance and the game in general.
Did anyone else hear an Outlook Email noise around 25:24?
Finally. Been avoiding spoilers for those 2-3 podium spots
I admire your willpower. I was anxious to see the event but knew almost after thanks to a thorough Google search.
Pretty great Games!
Yeah I had to avoid opening my emails and social media completely. I was left to the cliffhanger of test 11 and then it was all spoiled for me after days of trying to just find test 12 available to stream anywhere. The partnership with ESPN doesn’t help at all and just makes it harder to watch. I’m sure they got money for it though.
Can’t believe CF thought it was a good idea to NOT stream the finale for the public and make it exclusive to a subscription that almost NO ONE subscribed to
ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS that we have to wait 48 hours (they said 12) to see last test while trying to avoid every spoiler on YT and social media. WHY WOULD THEY TAKE THIS OPPORTUNITY AWAY FROM DEDICATED FANS?!
And life goes on…
@@PachecoAdventuresquestionable.
Just watch the full days , they are there LIVE
@jacquesolivierv I watched the full days. The last event of everyday was never live streamed.
We were able to watch the final event each day, they were in a separate vid called primetime.
Wow, so great this posted a few days later. Every CrossFit related sponsor has already emailed and texted me the winners. Also, might want to consider not having the top 3 wearing their shirt with final results while handing out awards if you want any semblance of surprise at the end. I love crossfitting, but have issues with CrossFit. It’s like they try to make things worse every year
SO imoressed woth Khrennikov's heart and determination. Just wow.
Watching this a second time I'm less convinced Brent threw it away to let Roman podium...but it sure as hell looked like it in real time...
He's a tall guy. Those thrusters probably burnt his legs.
@@Goatshaver it wasn't his legs that failed it was his shoulders...but he has never imploded like that with overhead walking lunges(remember he did the 2021 finale unbroken to make it to the podium), so watching him drop the barbell 3 times I defintely assumed he was throwing it away
After reading your comment, I went back and rewatched. I think you're right. He didn't look like he was struggling, and each time he threw the bar down, he waited until someone passed him to pick it back up.
I was impressed with him as a human being before, and now I'm twice as impressed. That's class.
@@jhssuthrnmama I disagree. Roman didn't complete the last two events. Brent should have taken that podium spot(if he in fact threw it away)
@jhssuthrnmama that's not class. That's patronizing and infantalizing. Imagine Rich or Matt getting hurt. Nobody would throw it so they could keep their streak or make history.
We want the games highlights video for this year!
aaawww Jeffrey is soooo cute. And yes also a veeery awesome athlete hahaha
I love Noah but Cole Sager and BKG both had their 10th year..i guess they were more humble about it
Noah likes to showboat and get attention, squeaky wheel gets the grease
It wasn't Noah bragging. The commentators are the ones who mentioned it. And he's allowed to be proud of it. Why can't he celebrate his hard work? We all do! 🤔🤷🏻♀️
I think the point was that this was his last one (as an individual) not that it was his 10th.
I also think it was bc Noah's were consecutive? Correct me if I'm wrong.
Roman went full David Goggins mode this year
Adler is such a class act cheering on Roman, and you can tell its not just for show ❤🤍
It's easy to cheer on your opponent when you are defeating them lmfao. That's basically just patronizing and rubbing it in. Athletes do it all the time and it's kinda sadistic actually. Would you like someone who just defeated you then stand there over you and "cheer" you on? Nope... You would not want to see them anywhere near lol.
Kwant was allowed to continue the lunges on the dotted line but Mertens had to go back to the solid line...🤔
Kwant had two feet pasted the dotted line starting the next section, Mertens drop it on the bottom part of the lunge halfway through so he didn’t complete the solid line section
@@t-mc-2770they specifically said a "section" was between the solid lines and anywhere in between meant going back to the previous solid line
Kwant's judge screwed up.
Also happened in the women’s. Very strange. Each time the announcers explain the rules. Then fail to mention the judge made a mistake
Mertens didn't fully stand up and show control when past the dotted line. Correct t call by the judge.
finally...
😅
The rock has come back...
To madison
It would've been nice to start this video with the standings/point values, so that we knew who had to finish where to make the podium.
SUPER ROMAN 👍👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Way to alienate your core supportes for a few bucks from ESPN
what a joke this was having to jump around to different channels to watch this. I have all the channels ESPN 2 and all and I could not watch. It's Tuesday afternoon and I still don't know who won the games. How uneventful.
It's even worse knowing and then having to wait two days just to see how it all went down.
I imagine next year is solely going to be PPV.
Does anyone know how many times Koski has won the opening event?
3
I don't get it, your are the winner when you finished in the 3rd place?
Hi Gemin! This event, the Echo Thruster Final, was the 12th test of the 2023 CrossFit Games. The overall winners were crowned at the conclusion! See the full leaderboard here: games.crossfit.com/leaderboard/games/2023?division=1&sort=0
Can you not just put each individual event in a separate video for us to watch? Honestly, you're not growing interest in the games if it's so clunky to try and watch
They should name the spirit of the games award after Noah Ohlsen
Bright 🍬 🎈🎈🎈
Can barely hear the commentators
How many of you NPCs would have wished death upon Roman if he represented his true country of origin
Фух...зря переживал)
Noah, of course, didn’t do a single good thruster. It’s a great thing he won’t be competing going forward.
Are you disputing hip extension or lockout?
@@jomlin143 lockout
@@wthibeau I figured. Bc his depth and extension were 👌🏼
Give it up Roman, you got hurt rest and come back.
I mean he did make the podium 🤷🏽♀️
@@teinetoa0416 exactly, he had nothing to prove.
What's with blacking out the Russian flag? Go woke, go broke. I'm out.
and on the leaderboard on the website they straight up put him under the American flag..
Please stop this BS about "woke". All it means is "You don't like something, therefore it's woke".
I would use the word "hypocrisy" instead. (And no this does not mean I am pro Putin or for attacking Ukraine).
I´ve heard it was his own decision but i don´t know for sure
Khrennikov = 🤡
