I thought CrossFit was supposed to be a variety of fitness? 6 heavy lifting events yeah you had to be able to do other things during them but heavy lifting dominated these events. 1 Gymnastics event 2 actual CrossFit type workouts 3 endurance workouts Whether this was rigged for an athlete or not which is funny because I didn’t even say anything and someone non biased said did they make these events just for her while watching. Either way I wouldn’t call this a balanced test.
ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS that we have to wait 48 hours (they said 12hr after airing on espn) to see last test while trying to avoid every spoiler on YT and social media. WHY WOULD THEY TAKE THIS OPPORTUNITY AWAY FROM DEDICATED FANS?!
Ms Emma Lawson .. you are a diamond in the raw .. rookie last year but you’re making waves .. time will soon come when you’re crowned the fittest. Stay fit, Emma
I think next year I will avoid news and then wait until after the games are over and watch it in order. I appreciate Cross Fit for posting these videos and I know they need to make money, but, in my insignificant opinion, this ESPN thing was horrible.
People complaining about waiting to see the event free on RUclips should remember that World championships of major sports are not usually free on RUclips, let alone just a day or two later. It's a great thing for the sport that CrossFit games are back on ESPN again.
A new Face .. A New Winner .. A New Phase in the world of CrossFit Congratulations, Fittest Woman on Earth, Ms Laura Horvath .. and many more CrossFit titles awaits you
It was horrible planning. I wanted to watch the final test to see Laurie and Emma go at it. and before I know it I saw Laurie was the leader. But I was disappointed in it all. However it was a great comp.! Sad about Roman! He deserved 1 st place. But injuries happen
I really can't believe they put exercise bikes and thrusters in the final event broadcast on ESPN. You have this great chance to show off the most interesting aspects of the sport to the world, and this is what you choose?
How great I get to watch this days after the games, I’ve always hated watching live events and supporting athletes even if they aren’t in the lead. Maybe you should just record the entire games and post a couple months later, I’m sure nobody would mind especially if you get that espn money!! Fuck the community and what they want!
LOL. I'm sure they wish Mal all the best. Fitness is both mental and physical. If you are not mentally fit..like Mal....then you don't count into this particular competition. Nothing like thanking Mal. These ladies worked hard.
Can y'all fix the audio on these? It is ridiculous how bad it is. Sean commentary isn't audible, it's so bad the closed captioning doesn't even pick up that any one is talking. Who ever approved the audio on this should be embarrassed.
Am i the only one who thought the programming this year was garbage? No swim? And only one real endurance event! Really no penalties for athletes who struggle with long events

Love watching these crossfire games. One complaint. The sound is low for the commentators and ultra high for the roving interviewers. Very annoying but otherwise fantastic games.
They HAVE 'CrossFit Barbie' right there... she won this heat. Her name's Katrin Davidsdottier and she's a recent former multiple winner of the games. She proves a female athlete can be gorgeous, feminine-looking, physically powerful, tough as nails, intelligent and inspirational - all at the same time!! Again, congratulations to Laura for winning the title 'Fittest Woman on Earth." Her Olympic lifts were absolutely stunning!! Wow!! This event, plus the Olympic lifts (NOT done for time - this time!! :) ) were my favorites! The air assault bike is my favorite type of cardio because it IS such a bitch... ... But it appears as though CrossFit WANTS to enforce STRICTER FORM for their athletes, and that's great to see!!
@@anyadeering No, I didn't miss the point. This extremely powerful and fit woman, Laura, was not expecting the announcer to ask her what advice she had for teens and young girls. Laura immediately thought of the Barbie movie... it was the first thing she mentioned. And she responded by saying, "That Barbie movie... ! I don't want to look like Barbie! I want to move things from point A to point B!" She simply meant her objective had been to be powerful and tough - not necessarily a "fragile-looking" beauty queen. My only point, in response to that statement, was you can be gorgeous, powerful, strong, tough, slender, muscular and ripped all at the same time. Sometimes you don't have to pick and choose - depending on the sport, fitness endeavor, the woman, her age, etc...
“She proves a female athlete can be gorgeous, feminine-looking” 😂 yes if you say that you definitely miss the point. You think your comment is empowering woman, it definitely is not😂 No one ever says “this dude athletes proves male athletes can be gorgeous and good looking”. When you are an athlete what you want is to be fit, who gives a damn if you look good or if you still fit the female stereotypes? Only add unnecessary burdens on women. Wake up from the illusion
@@elisabeth4342well, also very much depending on genetics. Katrin has classically beautiful facial features and a long torso that leads to a naturally narrower waist. Both women are incredibly talented and skilled and hard-working, maximizing their genetic talents.
@@jhssuthrnmama I agree!! I had been inspired by Katrin when she was winning the title and Laura was getting her feet wet in these games. I started doing my own WOD's in the gym (for cardio), and it was so much fun... MUCH more interesting than running on a treadmill!! BOTH of these gifted athletes deserve the highest respect for the kind of strength and conditioning this sport requires at the top level!!

Thanks for waiting 2 days to release the finale. Yall some real heroes.
Why are you splitting the community behind a paywall with ESPN+? Terrible, terrible decision. Don’t do that crap again…

Damn, only took 2 whole days to finally get to watch the conclusion to a thrilling weekend 🤦🏼♂️
....and then to have lousy audio. Fail!
Thought it was supposed to be available the morning after. According to my calendar morning after Sunday night is Monday….
And here we are at Tuesday afternoon. What a fucking joke.
Salty af lmao
@@PachecoAdventures you are welcome!
Chill good lord
I agree I watched everyday all day to wait till the next day to see the ceremony and the 2 days to see the final event.
Horvath = best closing speech ever. Love her. I admire her more than ever now.
Can't wait to see Next year Tia, Mallory and Haley joining the party.
Hailey as well
Why did Mallory attend this year?

Crossfit Karen over here.... 😂
@@pope400 If I'm a Karen, so is everyone else in the comments. Also, you're late by 6 mos.

She reminds me of Tia soooo much.
might have been this year, if the games included hand stand push ups, like they've always had.
I think next year I will avoid news and then wait until after the games are over and watch it in order.

Absolutely!!!
Crossfit HQ sold out the American fan base that made them, for the p€€€do Disney corporation.
Agree
I agree. I recorded the ESPN broadcast, but watched it all on here. I just avoided sports news for three days as I watched each day.

So happy for Horvath. This year was hers to win, indeed!
Tovar really said “I want whatever Annie’s taking”💀
exactly what I was thinking HAHA! At least half of these elite crossfitters all gotta be on something
Fantasztikus teljesítmény Laura! Gratulálok!🥇♥
Love it all. Thank you for posting
Good job Horvath, congrats
Es INCREIBLE COMO EL CROSSFIT es tan popular en gran parte del planeta.
It would've been nice to start this video with the standings/point values, so that we knew who had to finish where to make the podium.
It was horrible planning. I wanted to watch the final test to see Laurie and Emma go at it. and before I know it I saw Laurie was the leader. But I was disappointed in it all. However it was a great comp.! Sad about Roman! He deserved 1 st place. But injuries happen
Why the undertaker theme music from WWF when Laura came out? 😂
Laura outstanding performance 💪🏾
We want the games highlights video for this year!

They can all now thank Mallory for not competing and giving them a chance.
🎉 Congrats Laura and well said !!!

Good
I can almost hear the commentator's under the music. I am sure they had little to add to the program anyway...
Please never have Stacie Tovar commentate again. Not a fan.
Great job completely ignoring the heat winner. Great job, CF.
no hand stand push ups?

It would've been better to see 15-18-21 instead. That would've shown something
Horvath won only because Tia its not competing, year after year Laura was chasing Tia and never could take her place or will
I’ll take Staci over Chase anytime.

Turn the music off forever.
Im pretty sure poor Annie has peed herself like 3 times. I can’t imagine how hard it is to be a mom and do this.
Just human biology. Completely normal and no need to address as hardwork or drama
