For those interested, easiest way to level up and obtain high end gear for Midnight difficulty is to do coop and join ally missions. Hope you are all doing well.
When I do Co-Op I get the "No Suitable Matches" message alot.
@SlimeYouOut92 that's odd. I didn't coop until I finished the game and haven't had an issue. What level are you? I know sometimes suspending the game can lead to those messages.
It s true, Yesterday i found two stronger katanas in co op missions

They are complaining about the graphics but actually its better than souls game graphics..
But the perfomance is exceed to my expectation very well done Team Ninja..

I’m 20 hours in right now and I’m enjoying myself more than my entire playthrough of Stellar Blade. 🤷♂️

Combat is the only thing that saves this game imo. I won't spoil anything for you yet, I'll just say it's not playstation exclusive quality for $70🤷🏾♂️

@@blind_playthroughs yeah I would as well for what it is yet, my biggest gripe is the story and then graphics. I didn't feel immersed in our character because(also I forgot no voice acting) and story is all over the place lol. Graphics are not appealing for today's standards regardless of the developers art style imo.
@TheDrex2011 fair points, the story did flip flop quite a bit. Bond missions were well done I thought.
RUclipsrs spent 3 hrs playing the game just to make a review and called it bad because like u said they suck at parrying, dont have the patience to learn the combat system, and simply arent good so instead of saying its a skill gap lets just call it bad. This has been my favorite game so far this year and I guarantee once it goes on sale or maybe comes to the ps plus watch how everyone jumps on it and have a change of heart it never fails happened with days gone and other titles because ppl cant think for themselves. Appreciate your review for actually spending time with the game before speaking on it

I have 99 hours playtime and just started Midnight mode three days ago. I cleared all the unruly areas but will work on Ronin and Bond missions in Midnight (currently level 63). I just hoped they have something like The Underworld in Nioh 2 which should prove as the real challenge.

Its miles better than Wo Long, and its on par with Nioh 2. 130+ hrs of slightly fantastical but still down to earth sword and fist fighting as if its a Samurai Champloo game. Hoping TN continues this with amazing DLC .
Where else can you make a Geisha Ninja and beat thousands of ronin to sleep?
If comparing it to a PS3 game, its of PS3 game quality, as in a really good ass game with EXTREME loads of content. Much better than AAA stuff of today.
Graphically the oldest it could be called is PS4 or Late PS3 though games look good from there too

Personally I’m ok with games having graphics of a ps3. For me it was a generation that I told myself I was OK graphics now I just want good gameplay
Do u unlock new weapons and armors when u play it again after beating the game?
Yes you unlock midnight difficulty when you beat the game. Playing the game on this difficulty will allow you to obtain "Masterwork" rarity items (red gear). I have a Short on the channel showing the optimal way to level up quick and get max level gear. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching and hope you're doing well.

Days Gone wasn't a "third party exclusive" it was literally made by Sony Bend Studio. It doesn't get more first party than that...

My top complaints; no new game plus and in combat the enemy often just ignores you hitting them and then hits you while you’re attacking.
Midnight mode is essentially NG+, worked the same in Wo Long. And as far as the combat you kind have to be patient and not spam attacks. Thanks for watching and hope you're doing well.
@@blind_playthroughs yeah I just want the ability to start a fresh game on any difficulty with all of the cosmetics and styles I have unlocked. I’m not a fan of having to play through the entire game to get everything to just be finished. I also don’t want to be forced into harder content to get a new game plus. @@gato313you can replay the entire game on any difficulty with all your stuff unlocked the you don’t have to play it on midnight mode
I agree...I like Rise of the ronin..I will play it ..I will buy it ...but not for 83$...NO...and unfortunately that is the price of this game in my region right now...the base version..on disc.

I enjoyed the game overall yet i don't think it should've been $70! There's no excuse for graphics to be that dated with todays standards with technology. That not being their focuse in their games is why it should've been $60 imo. For $70 all the boxes should be checked(gameplay, graphics, story). Gameplay (combat) is the only thing that makes this game worthy, the other 2 not so much
