Today my cousin passed away from lupus disease because lack of hospital or medicine in INDIA(BHU). He had been hospitalized for 1 months in hospital and fighting with this disease.
He was very normal before hospitalization and suddenly.............😢😢😢😢

Elaine what is pressure point injections? I had a shot in my shoulder one time because it was hurting me. Give to me by my Rheumatologist. Maybe that was same.
What problem did you have with your coming off prednisone?

Trigger Point Injections are kind of different than injection into a joint. Trigger Point Injections are multiple shots placed to treat myofascial pain. It’s that muscle pain feeling that often accompanies autoimmune disease. I get my neck, shoulders, upper and lower back done and it usually lasts about 6-8 weeks. I found a Cleveland Clinic article…I’ll leave you the link here. my.clevelandclinic.org/health/treatments/17582-trigger-point-injection I need to give an update on my prednisone journey. I have secondary adrenal insufficiency and my adrenal gland didn’t kick back in while I tapered the prednisone. The adrenal insufficiency got pretty bad. 😞
