You just have to love this guy with all his dents and bumps....a scrap between James and Uli would have priceless. Was hoping to see James take up MMA. His try against the All Black's at Kings Park in 98 was a cracker 👌
A magnificent player! It was a pleasure to have him on. And who could ever forget that Kings Park Test! As Bullet says, what does it say on the scoreboard? ;-)
Thanks Kevin. I was so pleased I could get James on my show. He was a great guest and it was great to have him on and hear all those great stories from the old days. And 100% if you're in a dark alley you want Bullet on your side!
So glad you enjoyed it. Yeah, Bullet is definitely a character but I had no idea he would prove to be so colourful. A great guest and of course a great player back in the day!
An excellent guest! Glad you enjoyed this one, Chris. Seems like you're working your way through quite a few of the videos tonight. I'm so happy you're getting value out of the interviews. I've done more than 50 with former Boks with plenty more on the way!
Don't know if anyone noticed but Pieter Hendriks never put the ball down...he got up to again to score under the posts but the ref already awarded the try...on the spot he first went down..but he never grounded it..
Yes, that's quite right. I think because he shielded the ball to his left when he slid past the try line the referee thought he had grounded it ... which of course he had not! Still a very memorable moment!
SA Hardman... legend and just a good business man. Great business brain.... Shout out to Jeppe .... I think James would be proud , school has been playing some great rugby for years now... Karl Spilhuis has created a consistent premier performer .......
Brilliant -- and great humour! Bullet you are an Ox of note! 👍💪 Very much respect!
Thanks Eric. Glad you enjoyed it. Bullet was a great guest.
how can you not love Bullet....such a stoutgat.
Haha, stoutgat indeed! What a guy and what a player. Was such a privilege to have him on as a guest here.

Great interview Peter, I would hate to meet james Dalton in a dark alley , however always put his heart on his sleeve and played with passion

Really enjoyed that. Had no idea that bullet is such a character
So glad you enjoyed it. Yeah, Bullet is definitely a character but I had no idea he would prove to be so colourful. A great guest and of course a great player back in the day!
Character? You got no idea
James Dalton is an English man with the spirit of an afrikaner
There's only one Bullet! Thanks for the comment, Philip. Appreciate it.
Bullet, you beaut!!! Great memories of your Springbok career...legendary try with the guy hanging on to your jersey...🏉💪🇿🇦

What a brilliant discussion with some being Salt Of The Earth.
Thanks so much, Bruce. Glad you enjoyed it!
You've built up an impressive list of springbok alumni on this channel. I'm excited to potentially see some 2007 wc winners soon.
Thank you Stephen. Yes, some 07 Boks will indeed be good. I'll see who I can get!
I love it that he used the word ‘pensive’
Beautiful! Preparing for these interviews also requires a pensive approach on my part!
James has a brilliant sense of humour.
He was an hilarious guest ... and a great champion too!
Great interview with James Dalton - really enjoyed it !!!

Bullet, or 155mm Artillery Shell !! :) what a legend :)
Love it, Duncan! Artillery Shell indeed. A magnificent Springbok hooker with one of the all-time great nicknames too.

What a decent guy .
Top class! I was so happy I could get him on the show. Thanks for the comment.
Intimidating dude Dalton when wearing the Bokka jersey
A Bok hero and legend!
Aren't we gonna discuss the elephant in the room? What's with Bullet's right cheek? But honestly, he is a legend.
Hahaha ... let's just say we ran out of time and we'll never know who actually won the fight!
@@frontrowrugby You can't teach an old dog new tricks 🙂
Haha ... when it's in your blood, it's in your blood!
I actually now what happened.
Ninjitsu training.
He is a brown belt.
Miss this guy. Was always cool knowing he would bully the opposition 😂
Indeed! A fierce competitor and a great player. But also a great guy. Was a pleasure having him on the show.
