As a Syrian, it is heartbreaking to watch Palmyra devastated in this way, and it is even more heartbreaking to remeber that the West sponsored the so-called freedom seekers or revolutionaries. Thank you for showing the positive side of Syria. You have my complete respect.
You are amazing and so is Syria ----
From Syria, mother and father, greetings to all the free people of the world. May you be well.
دمتم بخير❤
Palmyra was an important trade route city and at one point had a woman ruler. I was fortunate to have been there and had it entirely to myself before the war. Took a bus from Damascus, guides were not required then. A Syrian MIG flew right over me on its way to the nearby airbase. Syria and Lebanon both have landscape and places that are just amazing.
It's so amazing to see people happy in your country and get to know its history, this is a matter of pride.❤❤
Awesome stuff guys.. I'll get brave and go myself one day.
Thank you for visiting my country i leaved it when i was child of the war and i don’t know anything about it but with you guys i am visiting my country
We really enjoyed Syria with you. thank you so much from deep in my heart
Thank you ❤
Fantastic series, had no idea of the history of Syria. It looks amazing.
Oh yeah? Then why do you think the west conspired against Syria if it is just a desert without history or resources?
Thank you guys for visiting my beautiful country. So glad you enjoyed your time there! I really loved the Syria series and hope you can come back in the near future for more. You still need to visit the coast including many amazing historical sites and castles that are located there. Among them is Ugarit where the first Alphanumeric writing system in the world originated as well as the oldest song (melody). There’s Afamia too, where the beer you drank is named after, it’s like a mini Palmyra but in lush landscape and has the longest Roman Colonnade :) So much more to see and we hope to have you back in Syria! Good luck in your future endeavors.
Thanks so much for watching ❤

Syria is a beautiful country with the friendliness of the local people to their guests, beautiful places and many places that are world heritage, glorious in the past... with all the architectural beauty left over from the Roman era, I hope I can visit these sites... I often read. from literacy, how modern it was at that time.

So sad to see how Palmyra was impacted by the war! There were still some really amazing historical sites in Palmyra in your video. I absolutely loved you guys' entire Syria series and really appreciate all the effort you guys have put in to create such amazing content! Huge shoutout to Mary and Rami as well! Thank you guys!
What an amazing place, food , people, history...we are lied to so much
I'm glad I saw Tadmor way before the destruction. I visited family in 1987, 1999, and 2000. It was very beautiful. We even traveled to the castle or fortress at the top of the mountain that you can see in the distance. I'm glad I took lots of pictures. We also went to Busra. Syria actually has many many wonderful things and places to see. I'm glad I saw many of them but now, like Tadmor or Palmyra, they have been damaged or destroyed. Baalbek in Lebanon is also gorgeous. I also saw family in Lebanon in 1999 and 2000. It's really unfortunate that we have so much conflict overseas because there's so much history and culture to see but overall it's not safe. I look forward to going back one day. Thank you for the video! It brought back happy memories.
I really miss all of this
Thank u to reshow and bring back to us all of that memories♥️ hopfully we will go back again to our home 💔

I was in Bosra, Palmyra, Hama, and Aleppo just before the crisis happened. So sad to see Palmyra in the state it is. Wow, so many amazing memories were reignited from your wonderful Syrian series. Thanks so much for this. I need to relook at my photos. In Hama i have a video of the water wheels moving and making weird creaking, almost musical sounds
Your presentation looks very impressive because you acted naturally and I'm thankful for your visit to my homeland
Thank you!
Great to see the beautiful Syria
Thanks for watching!
Amazing but also horrendous how humans beings don’t value life . To see the city destroyed is upsetting but they will come back strong . I finally caught up after long working hours . Amazing series and Syria is in our hearts 👍
Palmyra (Tadmur in Arabic) was actually first built by the Mesopotamians as a settlement outpost in 200bc before it was conquered by other powers and empires not the least by the Romans. Zenobia, the Rebel Queen of Palmyra conquered Egypt and challenged Rome and captured indeed many Roman provinces. She was a real a legend.
Omg I have been to the museum before. It was very beautiful and clean. I'm so sorry 😢

If you knew the history of Damascus your hotel room would not have been "something you wouldn't expect in Syria." There are several boutique hotels in Damascus that were once merchant houses.
So sad to see the destruction of Palmira! I was lucky enough to see its beauty 22 years ago! Magic place!
Wow! Lucky you

If this is a Syrian promotional video for tourism, well done.
Just two people travelling showing our experience 🥰
@@dabbleandtravel it’s really good to see you moving so freely in these two countries, especially Syria. Well done and enjoy. May I suggest you put China on your plans.
@@dabbleandtravel I first visited Damascus on a business trip some 35 years ago. Relations between U.K. and Syria were at ‘rock bottom’ so I was unable to obtain a visa. The company I was employed by were well connected and arranged for a visa to be issued by the Immigration Manager at the Airport. All I had to do was to fly in without a visa, convince the Official at the desk that I was expected by his Boss, and get taken to his Office (that’s all). I flew by Cyprus air from our local Office there, with plan B to return on the same plane which left 3 hours later if plan A failed. I was duly arrested and the Officials, not knowing what to do with me duly took me to their Chief. Laughingly he greeted me with ‘inta el Inglazi mignoon’ (you are the crazy Englishman) and got my Passport stamped as we chatted over chay (tea). I doubt I would be treated so well these days! All my Boss said when I got back to the Office was ‘I told you it would be no problem…. And their guns aren’t loaded’. I thanked him for his concern over my welfare - well Boss is Boss!
