I remember Kevin Butler saying Georgia won the ACC Coastal Division (because Tech had won it) and South Carolina had won the ACC Atlantic Division (because Clemson had won it and South Carolina had beaten them that night). Great ending for a tough 2009 season.
I remember this one. It was in my second year as a UGA graduate student. I was driving back home from northern Virginia; and I was in South Carolina when I saw a car with a UGA license plate frame. I sat there thinking, "Omen???????" Apparently, it might have been. I remember, once the game was done, I kept laughing and repeating, "He dropped the ball!"
I just LOVE that late 4th quarter stare that Tech fans have at the end of every meeting with UGA... especially after a year of trash talking that follows yet another loss and another year of trash talking until the next loss and the next late 4th quarter stare. UGA RULES THIS STATE... NERDS STAY HOME!!!!!!!
though i don't recall the Georgia tech coach given the ultimatium win or be fired like mark richt was given. let see if you can figure this one out --What does a grad of UGA call a grad from Georgia Tech ? BOSS !!!!

Two simple reasons GT beat Georgia in 2008. 1. the triple option offense was BRAND NEW to them, ever since then they've been able to handle it. 2. They had a lot of turnovers in that game, your not going to win football games with too many turnovers.
Great game. Had GT got out with a win, they would’ve had a playoff berth after winning the ACC. They went in with one loss to a ranked Miami team week 3. This one stung even worse. Losing to UGA sucks, but for them to essentially end your post-season is agonizing.
FSU and Oklahoma would do horrible in the sec.They ARE good teams but they dont know what the sec is about. Georgia would dominate the acc every year so that is not a good idea
