They're not gonna shorten the season because the players don't want to give up the money. They would be foolish to pay them the same amount to play about 20 games less than they already play. They say this is the best era but everybody's hurt or load managing. Embiid and Kawhi should be forced into retirement without pay since they're almost never healthy.

Jus try and run faster than your opponent and knock the ball, not the player.
With the mindset of today's players, even if they were allowed to punch their opponents for defense, they still wouldn't defend. Just look at Bron in the Olympics: When he decided to defend (because otherwise he would have lost), he did.

Mark Price was not feared but he was highly respected as a shooter and he did not lead the Cavs to a title through his shooting prowess… like Jordan, Steph is universally recognized as the greatest shooter of all time… he is the first player in history to lead a jump shooting team to an NBA finals championship….
One ring Superstar Steph is NOT… Steph has been to (6) finals 3 with KD and 3 without KD… Steph won 2 with KD and won 2 without KD…
Jerry West on Steph people doesn’t like rare and Steph is rare, he’s greatest shooter this league has ever seen by far…
Mark Jackson best shooter the game has ever seen period Mark Jackson played with Mark Price l believe…
Curry is the holder of numerous other records, notably for his efficiency and three-point shooting. He has the highest career free-throw percentage in NBA history (91.0%) and has led the league in three-pointers made a record eight times.
Stephen Jackson on why Stephen Curry is Top 5 player ever: "Steph has won the most in this era with 'Bron in it"
Penny just said Bron was 1A…
Kobe Bryant once perfectly described what makes Stephen Curry so tough to guard: "He can always change the cadence of his game"…. We have a number of players in the 90’s era that were slight of frame that still shot the lights out. I’d like to highlight Mahmoud Abdul Rauf. He was quick with the handle, decisive with the shots he took in spite of hand checks, etc. they made no difference. Had he not been blackballed who knows his potential. Reggie Miller, much taller though he did not play point, but he ran through a number of screens in order to exploit his shooting prowess as does Steph minus the ball handling from the point position…now as far as the point guard, you and I are aligned but there’s an argument if we relegate the “best PG” to eras

No excuse for him losing but, he wasn’t as healthy as we would have liked as were a couple others, coupled with key players missing games that series. I could say the shooters who many claim to be comparable, outside of Bird, didn’t shoot their way well enough to be in that position for a system/offense to be built around them let alone lead the team to 6 finals appearances winning 4.
