I am one of those kids. I was there. I am not in this specific footage, but I have two photos from that day. My life was changed by this experience. I was inspired to write. To create. The footage captures some of the vibe from that day. The young man 37 seconds into the clip -- his look of wonder expresses how I felt as I visited Jim's grave. I was lucky to be in this throng and meet the Doors. They just showed up like they are depicted in this footage. No PR handlers or assistants. No security that I recall. Just the three surviving Doors hanging out with fans like everyday people.
