This is the full zombie experience now on the console providing a really interesting set of updates and while there are hurdles, fresh content is constantly added to this ultimate survival zombie game. It really does bring that unique look at pvp action with others whether you're being friendly or perhaps not at each other in this large scale world of #DayZ #XboxSeriesX /S and One.
It can be difficult to survive the harsh realities of this open world zombie game. Luckily these tips and videos extensively cover the experience from basic mechanics to advanced guides. Didn’t mention the most likely place to find fruit is under trees that are around houses, usually the trees that are inside the fenced area around houses. Ripe fruit and dried fruit are both good food. Avoid the rotten fruit. Fresh boosts food and water while dried food depletes water a bit.
It also means people have been there in that area recently just a heads up

Probably at this point now i know why i like this game, cuz in many ways it reminds me of fallout 76 , surviving, wandering, zombies etc, night, day mode....and more, crafting!

Me and a friend tried playing. Neither of us knew where we are at spent 3 hours trying to find each other. When we finally did we go attacked and died... This game is pain.

I've been watching a lot of intro vids as I'm only 75 to 150 hours into the game. I also play on 1st gen Xbox one. Takes a bit longer for things to render in but game play is fine, Unless player bases are around, then a lil lag. You have to peel the potato to eat it. Thanks for the vid Cap!
The peeling mechanic must be new haha. You take a small break from this game and there's a tedious extra step, I recall when I started you could straight up drink from the rivers and it was totally alright. It's come a long way console wise.

I played this game on pc early access probably a couple of years before release. Was really fun for a while. Then getting enough food/loot to make it from city to city became a pain for a new spawn. You would be lucky to make it to another city before dying of starvation. Tried it again after release to only realize that the ui had been boinked on pc and in favor for consoles. I may try it again now since I have a xbox series x.
You just need to know where to look for food. If you ever walk into a field with apple trees and theres no apples on the ground, try to camp a few minutes just outside of the apple field and you'll probably find 20+ apples. It really works

Where do you base up and leave your items? I'm in a community server and favorited it, so it'll be my main play. Anyways, yeah how do you storage items and also create a base?
One on one vs zombie should always kill for its loot. Block punch repeat. Easy Peazy

I just started yesterday on Xbox and can’t figure out how to put the clothes on I find and freeze, he just keep’s everything in his hand how do I put them on? Plz help
I tried playing a few times and never found any loot. checked every house in the towns and never find anything. this is a issue that other people also had. Did they fix the loot respawn or its still the lack of loot?
It’s not an issue that’s existed for quite some time. Community servers offer higher loot spawns
Try playing lesser populated official servers, as all the loot won't be taken by constant fresh spawns. I sometimes play on low pop servers to get loot then take it to high pop for adventures ;)
Usually on the coast most other people will already get stuff. But sometimes you can find fruit by trees if you, or someone else, is in an area long enough. Sometimes zombies have food.
That's part of the fun, DayZ is very hardcore, be a man and play high pop officials

Could you kill the zombie and take the backpack they have?
You can sometimes. The bags can get damaged or also be buggy, but sometimes yes
Zombies sometimes wear hats, vests, and backpacks, using a weapon on a zombie will either ruin or damage the items the zombies are wearing, so if you see a zombie wearing something you want or need just use your fists or you will most likely ruin the item

How do you know if you see an enemy player?
you'll know, or you'll just be dead.
I find backpacks and jackets, but can't use them because the 'Y to equip' doesn't appear for me. I'm ready to put my controller thru my TV. I wanted to play this on Xbox, but instead, uninstalled.
You have to check if it ruined or if you try to press a on the current bag you have
Has to be in your hand if you have a bad
If you're wearing a piece of clothing already it wont say Y to equip, you have to go to the item you want to wear then hold A and move to the same item slot at the top of inventory and then let go of A
Techs modded server 3 free traders at spawn points pvp full map good for new players to learn the basics an get geared up fast come try techs modded server 3

No offense, but terrible walkthrough! I understand wanting to avoid trouble, but multiple zombies had gear like helmets and backpacks that you need. You need to at least take them down easily for the gear. And why have a gun out w/no intention of using it. Better to have barehands if no melee weapon to at least defend yourself against a solo zombie.Sometimes when zombies aren't focusing on you, there are other players near by and tbe pathing isn't glitched. You need to peel the potato w/a blade to eat it. You can set the bristles of the broom on fire to use as a weapon or makeshift torch.Just a few other things.
