Interest rates are going from .4 to 2.5% on student-loans here, so I am currently working hard to pay mine off before the end of the year (ironic because i am still in school atm), so tough month, but exicted to start the new year with a clean slate

When you were sharing that you saved up for your vacation I had so many questions! Like how do you know how much to save? Perhaps you could walk us through that. I was so happy when you said you saved around $200 a month - but for how many months? 😊 love love love your budgeting videos!!!
Hi yes great question!! This round of saving for vacation was super random, I would try and put $200/month but there were a few months I just put a lump amount cuz I had earned a bit extra. I did this since getting back from Hawaii in June so about 5-6 months.
Last year, when you had your patreon, we did a workshop together to reflect on the year and setting goals for next year. I would loovee to do that again if you wanted to do a paid virtual workshop event. Just a thought, but no pressure :)

I really liked last year's format! I think it was a good balance of reflection and setting goals for next year. But I wonder if it was in a smaller group, people would be less shy to share what they wrote. Whatever you decide to do and whatever works for your schedule, I would definitely attend 😊

Zoe, I love your channel and your videos. Budgeting ones speak to my soul. I've been a budgeter and a partial cash budgeter since about August of this year. As a former banker, doesn't it bug you to not have the bills all in the same orientation and direction? LOL silly question, but my bills HAVE to be facing the same direction and if any of my corners get bent, (INSERT SCREAM HERE). LOL Great stuffing and reflection! Love it!

Do you ever make calculation errors with your budget? This month I payed a lot with my savings account because I moved (expensive) & just started my job, but when I calculated what needed to be on my savings I was €1000 (!!!) off… I panicked big time. I wonder if I’m alone in this because I’m beating myself up over it
