    I like the fact that Mira, playing in the 4 pos, plays the role of 5, Miposhka, playing in the 5 pos, often plays the role of 4, and Larl, playing in the mid, often plays the 3 pos, taking the blow in fights, and Collapse, who seems to play in position 3, is a key figure around which games are often built, that is, in fact, playing the position 2. The only one in TS who plays according to the canons is Yatoro. The guys literally re-invented the tasks for different positions and implement their playstyle very well

    The art of baiting - if you remember when OpenAI Five played against OG, multiple times OpenAI baited OG to throw their spells at a hero but made sure that that baiting hero ran away with just 5-10% HP. But by that time, all of OG's spells were on cooldown and OpenAI just cleaned the floor with its carry. OpenAI figured out the optimal way to win team fights in DOTA way back in 2019.

    I just recently started back into dota this time as the one to teach others the ropes in a hope that I can mimic the person that taught me. Getting back into it I realized it was TI time and placed my predictions and none of the teams I knew were still around. Ive seen Alliance and Navi fall but usually was there to find someone else to root for. This time I look at predictions and just hopefully locked in TSpirit and LGD finals w spirit winning as I had remembered watching their lower bracket run previously and thinking f it lets root for them to win again. I dont mean to get emotional and obviously Im not part of that team but being able to watch them (who apparently have remained a good team and a favorite to win TI, something that the top teams rarely used to be able to do) watching the opposite of their run made me remember why I loved this game so much. Why I sunk in thousands of hours never with the false dream of going pro but that was fine, this game has been and I think always will be a big part of my life. Not sure how to sign this off but ig if you read this go ahead and flame me for being sappy ik I would if i saw this. I appreciate those that read it anyway.

    Mira is currently my favorite DOTA player, but it's completely understandable that everyone tends to cheer for the carry/core players! After all, in (e-)sports, just like in soccer, people often admire the goal scorers more than those who set up the plays or prevent the opposing team from scoring.

      well it's kinda of a double-edged sword to be a core player. Look at Lou, m1cke, or Shiro; their respective teams got 3rd and 4th. And most of the responses blame them for carrying enough.

      but if you noticed in TI7,8, and 9, many people praised GH and Jerax so much, such flashy plays made by them frequently became a game-changer. Pos 4 was much more impactful back then.
      Mira, on the other hand, simply does not need to do that. All that he has to do is to enable Collapse to have a good lane and let him and Yatoro do the work in teamfights, which Mira ultimately always almost succeeded.

    к сожалению, многие или не хотят замечать что каждый человек в команде делает определенную работу без которой не получилось бы достичь высоких результатов. они могут играть не так как другие люди на своих позициях и их за это хейтят. люди оценивают команду и берут отдельно каждого игрока, а это не правильно. Мира может и не сильнейший игрок на четвертой позиции в мире, но для этой команды он идеально подходит. и так можно сказать про каждого. Dude plays pos 5 on the pos 4. Ever since team spirit won their first title, playing a greedy pos 4 didnt make sense. Your pos 3 is basically a carry nowadays, they need a baby sitting sup. Pos 4 no longer has the luxury to farm daggers wait for perfect initiation etc. Yapzor also agrees with this clearly in his streams. He no longer finds joy in playing pos 4 since you're basically expected to sacrifice your game for other players. Unlike his prime days. Ask Yap, he will probably say that he would enjoy pos 3 more than anything else. That pretty much sums up the topic I believe.

    Hello! I am enjoying your content. Very nice videos! I have been watching Yatoro's stream recently, and in a game where he was playing as a Naga Siren, he said "they can't kill MK (enemy) without me, they don't know how to kite." And that got me wondering, how to properly kite a fight. I mean, I understand that kite is when you are engaging in a fight, but you don't fully commit. Like you throw a spell or two, wait for CD, then throw spells again, to wait for the perfect opportunity to fly in and kill them. But the problem is that this style of kite, enemies can easily run by also using one or two spells, and fight is over. So, the question I have is: How to kite a fight properly?

    • @mikeholm4455
      @mikeholm4455 7 месяцев назад

      kiting properly is playing safe and defensive until the reason you are kiting is no longer there
      if you are pa vs a void and you know void just waits for you to jump in and then he chronos you, then you kite until the threat of chrono is gone, staying in the safezone trying to bait your enemy to waste their spells or over extend and then you capitalize
      it basically comes down to whoever is better at recognizing when to kite and how well they execute that kite
      bsj just talked about this in greater detail in one of his last videos

    • @danieljohnberdadero6721
      @danieljohnberdadero6721 7 месяцев назад

    Mira is good but not the playmaker in Spirit. If you wanna beat Spirit, make sure Miposhka and Collapse can't play their heroes. These two are their playmakers. Seen it in TI where they fight against VP in game 1. VP able to defeat them (Game 1) because they were able to disable these two ( Miposhka and Collapse). Doesn't matter if Yatoro able to play his carry heroes as long as these two was disabled. Unfortunately VP not able to maintain this advantage and lead them to get defeated by Spirit. Sure everyone will not agree but if you pay attention on how spirit play, you can see Miposhka abd Collapse are the one that plays exceptionally well. They are like the heart and brain of the team. Yatoro is good but nothing stands out, its just a carry who plays with a lot of hero pool. Mira is great as a support. And other new guy too is good.

    From what I know, Team Spirit was absolutely getting dogged by VP in everything up until Mira joined the team and the one who recruited him was his former teammate in Cascade, Collapse.

    The problem with support, esp pos 4, is that a lot of impact is hard to see for the layman. Such as stacking, baiting, disrupting enemy initiate, CCing in fights, protecting runes etc.

    i feel you should definitely back up your claims more, show instances in games where they were true etc.

    Correct me if I'm wrong, pos4 is not a suitable role for roaming. Leaving pos3 alone in lane, puts pos3 behind and gives enemy carry a free chance to farm. Most of the time roaming doesn't compensate the loss in the lane. In my opinion the perception that pos4 is the roamer role is a longstanding misconception from the past.

      pos4 isn't roamer but he always has an option to help pos2 win mid with gank, while pos3 gain rather exp than gold in those 2-3 minutes. but in nowadays meta it's just not profitable.

    all the things you said are BASE for every support. There is nothing unique in TS players, they just perfectly playing default

    no one is overlooking him, it's the same thing in football, striker vs goalkeeper..more attention to the carry or striker, it's only natural

    Mira and collapse are the best player in spirit. yatori heavily relies on his supports and collapse plays. Larl is very consistent. yatoro so good at clash he improved on his choke plays last TI
